This place is wonderful in every sense of the word. I didn't even engage in all of the activities offered and I still had an amazing weekend. My family and I were there to enjoy each other's time during an otherwise very hard weekend and with the tranquility this place exuded, we were so far removed from any heaviness or sadness that would have taken place in any other case. Wonderful hosts, great communication, cozy and inviting home. Will definitely book again!!

There was a delay in getting entry code on the day of checkin but when prompted there was a quick response. No other major issues

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Melissas Haus! Das Haus ist sehr schön und bietet eine grandiose Aussicht auf den Hafen. Die ruhige Umgebung macht es zu einem perfekten Rückzugsort. Besonders cool war die Möglichkeit, Boote zu mieten und die Gegend vom Wasser aus zu erkunden. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Unterkunft, die uns unvergessliche Momente beschert hat! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The house was great! Very clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood was quiet which made for a nice relaxing weekend. Communication was always quick and kind. We traveled without kids but the home would be great if you’re traveling as a family. I really loved the little playroom, a nice touch for sure!

Our family spent Thanksgiving at this location. From check in to check out, Stacey was awesome and proactive in her communication with us. Her place was just as described with spacious rooms, beautiful views, and peaceful surroundings. It was clean and surprisingly well stocked. We plan to go back in the summer to take advantage of this beautiful home, the pool, and the surrounding activities. It is a short walk to the lake and your boat, if you have one. We loved it!

The Gaia's place was so peaceful. There were so many little places to relax and take in the sun - fell in love with outdoor space. My 3 pups enjoyed exploring the secluded areas we were prived to. The jacuzzi was a perk for my teens since there is only one TV in upstairs room. Outside lights really well at night and so lovely to enjoy time together. The hosts were very timely and commutative with all questions/concerns we had and was apologetic for things they weren't aware of. Such as rug not cleaned properly and/or bathroom door locked. Great kitchen appliances if you choose to cook or dine in. We brought food and fridge is very spacious. Very kind people who you can tell care about their guests. We will return because I truly did get great rest.

Loved everything about this place!!! The house was so functional with our teen son and young nieces!! So many things for us to do inside and outside together!! We will definitely be back!! Hoping next time it’s not too windy to fish!!

The Greenhouse was very clean, very comfortable, and quite. The indoor photos were as advertised. Slept better than at home. The location is a short drive to the Prothros Conference Center, where we attended a conference. The February weather was too cold for much exploration from the home.

The house is beautiful and our teenagers were entertained with the play room. There was enough room for everyone and the owner was very helpful with all our questions and quick replies. Thank you!!

Room to gather and play. Room to get some private time. Walk right to the beach. Lots of outdoor and indoor play spaces. Our blended families ages 1 to 65 had so much room to connect and make memories. Thank you for sharing your home. And yes it felt like home.

We had a great stay! Everything we needed was in the house. A nice walk to downtown and lots to explore. Would absolutely stay again!

Our family’s stay at Lilac House was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we drove onto the secluded property to the minute we walked into the warm and inviting home, we knew we were in a special place. Rosemary’s home was exceptionally clean and stocked with games, a tv ready for your streaming services, beautiful handmade quilts throughout, heated toilet seats with bidets, a Blackstone to cook your meals, a washer and dryer with detergent to use, and a fantastic screened in porch to enjoy your beautiful surroundings. She thought of everything, and we needed nothing to prepare our family meals in her well stocked and well equipped kitchen. Cabinets throughout were labeled and easy to navigate. Rosemary was incredibly responsive and patient answering all of our countless questions. She was wonderful to work with. Our family of 5 plus our two dogs enjoyed a memorable stay at the Lilac House. We highly recommend Rosemary’s Lilac House and would unequivocally stay there again.

It was an awesome place to stay. It was right by where they were going to go fishing and it was beautiful absolutely gorgeous place to be around.

Home style feeling, great big yard and loved the dog run for our dog.
