Dairy Barn was clean, well appointed, and soooo charming. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. I had a great time!

Everyone enjoyed staying here! Came up for a football game! Met the neighbor. Super nice people! Loved seeing the deer in the area! Couldn’t believe we saw 2 large bucks walking around during the day! Wish we had our boat! Beautiful looking across the lake and seeing the fall foliage!

Fantastic stay! Loved the view, peaceful surroundings, and the house was gorgeous. Very comfortable and fun base to hike nearby parks. Definitely a nice stay and we will return.

What a gem! Susan’s charming historic home had EVERYTHING we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the games, the books about Virginia, the notes about the history of the property, the beautiful scenery, the comfy cozy beds, the TVs and attractive fireplaces in each room, and the coffee/tea and disposable dishes. This home is so aesthetic, clean and comfortable. We’d love to visit again!

Julia's house is lovely and beautifully maintained, and I love the touches of personality throughout. She was an excellent communicator and made check-in easy. Great location in downtown Hinton.

When visiting the Hillsville area, Mark of Design is one of our top go-to’s. Very convenient location for those wanting to be in Hillsville, yet also close to Galax and the Blue Ridge Parkway area. We love watching the beautiful horses on the farm, and also the abundant wildlife, to include deer, rabbits & wild turkeys!

We had a really fun stay at Shaena’s home. The home was spacious, clean and has a lot of character. The surrounding area was beautiful with many close trails to enjoy. The home is a reasonable distance from Blacksburg while feeling more remote. Be prepared for how close the train is, that said if you like trains the view is really cool!

Very nice place in a super cute campground! Loved being right across from the state park. Gorgeous part of West Virginia. Loved all the great views!

We were in town for work. This place was great. Booked again for the next week and probably will book again. So much better than a hotel.

The place was great! Tiny, but perfect for our group! Had some minor issues but the hosts were able to give suggestions and fixes very fast. Overall a great time!

Hosts were very kind. Super cute little tiny home. The heat works great. There was even a heated blanket available on the bed I slept in. Awesome place to stay.

Brooke was quick to respond, easy check in . We booked last minute with no issues. Sam the property manager was great with suggestions for places to visit. This cabin is warm and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

I would highly recommend the "Pool House". It is in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of wildlife. I even saw deer grazing in the back yard in the evening. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive to any of your needs. I will certainly return again in the future.

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

Beautiful vintage home with a great view and private even though it’s in a small city. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything we were looking for, will return if we have the opportunity!!

John was an excellent host. Upon arrival there was a misunderstanding with the booking. John was very apologetic and extremely nice and made sure it was all right for us. John gave us local recommendations and was very friendly to talk to. The house is in a nice location on the lake and I really enjoyed the train passing right by the house.

Bonita was GREAT! Sent directions days before our arrival, was extremely responsive with any questions we had and gave good recommendations. Her place made everyone feel at home, like we took a step back in time. She left brownies on the table which was the cherry on top! We will be back for sure.

This is our third time staying here and as usual was very clean and accommodating for our family. Will stay again !

The stay was wonderful in a clean and well appointed condo. Even had my preferred “raw sugar” for my coffee in the cupboard. WiFi and TV were first rate. I will stay here again.

Jonathan is truly a super host. He was very polite and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The house itself is beautiful with gorgeous views. It has all the convenience of home with space heaters and fans in every bedroom. Definitely will be back.

we had a great 2 night stay. it is near the road but so close to bluestone lake state park and Pipestem. we enjoyed our stay and loved that it was dog friendly.
