The place is spaciousness and comfortable. Looks just like the photos. Right on the water. Advisable to have water socks as entering the water is a shallow reef. Great for taking a dip but not for swimming. Nadia and Salvatore are excellent, friendly, accommodating and attentive hosts. Great cooks too! We loved staying here. Warmly recommended.

Eine einmalige und sehr eindrückliche Unterkunft inmitten der wunderschönen Natur Panamas. Melisa und Luciano sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden von A-Z verwöhnt. Wir reisten mit zwei Teenies und auch für sie wird die Zeit im CocoVivo im positiven Sinne unvergesslich sein. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, nur mit Moskitonetzen umgeben, was den Eindruck erweckt, man schläft mitten im Dschungel. Am Morgen ist früh Tagwacht ;-). Von der Terrasse des Hauses aus kann man nicht im Meer schwimmen. Das ist nur beim Gemeinschaftsbereich möglich. Trotz der abgelegenen Lage, wird es nie langweilig. Man kann schnorcheln (auch nachts!), eine (geführte) Tour durch den Dschungel machen, Kajak oder Stand-Up Paddeln, schwimmen oder einfach in der Hängematte liegen und geniessen. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter und hoffen, eines Tages wieder zurückkommen zu können!

The only negative thing I can say about my stay at Dories farm is that I only booked one night. The location is incredible and in the middle of nowhere. The boatdrive to the farm is already a highlight. I did the chocolate farm tour which was so interesting and lovely. You can feel how much Dorien loves her farm and life in Panama. I also saw two Sloth which was one of the reasons I came there. Doriens food was absolutely delicious too. At night you can lay on the dock, watch millions of stars or turn around and watch the bioluminescence around the dock. The free Kayaks are great. I did a sunrise morning kayak- tour on my own and it was breathtaking. I would definitely recommend at least two nights at the cabin since it takes some time to come there to get the chance and do some of the other great experiences you can do there. This was our second stay here, and we hope to return again in the future. The open floorplan is welcoming and the kitchen is well-stocked to be able to prepare meals at the house if you wish (also recommend Dosha cafe for breakfast/lunch and Caio pizza for dinner just a few minutes walking). The over the water porch is very peaceful and gives an amazing view of the bay, Carenero, and Bocas town. If you enjoy a simple island-life style place being as close to the water as possible, you will like it. We also greatly appreciated Melissa being flexible with us on our check out day.

Notre séjour à Cocovivo a été incroyable. Les récifs sont magnifiques, l'île est superbe et nous avons eu l'occasion de faire une balade dans celle-ci avec Leo qui est un excellent guide. Melisa et Luciano sont des hôtes toujours disponibles et très accueillants. L'arrivée et le départ ont été très bien organisés. Les logements sont très agréables pour un séjour au plus près de la nature : nous avons étés conquis par Cocovivo et nous y retournerons très certainement lors de nos prochaines vacances au Panama.

Ok wow this place was absolutely amazing! It was my dream to stay at an over the water bungalow and this exceeded all my expectations. Your own little paradise on a tropical island. Jump right off the front porch to swim in a great reef. Stunning views of the lagoon and mountains and sunsets. Michelle is a wonderful person and I am blessed to meet her. She helped me out with everything, gave great advice, and I met more amazing people at De La Luna and through her. This bungalow is ideal if you are staying long by being a digital nomad. You get a great peaceful place to sleep and work at. Then if you want to go to town and party you take the water taxi in right from the front porch. Bocas town is a blast so stay there for a bit then come right back to paradise. Also two restaurants and a store right in kayaking distance. I did the chocolate tour, scuba, atving, caving, surfing, partying, etc. during my stay here. My time in Bocas Del Toro was inevitably going to be great, but stayi

Sterling was very responsive and informative. The apartment and communal dock were awesome.

The house is definitely in the jungle on a very bumpy road. Very nice restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay there- Walter was very responsive to our needs. If you can’t stand bugs, I would not recommend staying here since it is in the jungle. But if you are ok with this, it’s an awesome experience to be out there with the monkeys, sloths and birds!

Die Unterkunft war mitten im Dschungel, aber trotzdem fußläufig vom tollen Strand entfernt. Britta und Alex waren sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. Wir haben das Frühstück und den Wäscheservice genutzt. Beides war wirklich klasse. Wir können die Unterkunft rundum empfehlen.

This is such a sweet little get away from busy Bocas town. It is still very accessible to everything and near a very pretty beach. The surroundings are stunning and very “in the jungle.” It was a tad hard to find, but the host was quick to help us. The bed is huge and super comfy. The outdoor shower is just fantastic after a day in the ocean. It’s very near a delicious restaurant. The host was great, brought us water when we ran out, had greats recs, and even let us hitch a ride into town.

Wow. Truly magical! First off, Jane and Lee are super hosts! Always available, very responsive, friendly! Space is perfect, cute little touches all around, quiet and peaceful away from town. Had snorkel gear, kayak, SUP, and floats to use. Jane offered a ride to town or get me supplie while they were headed out. Also provided pants for no see ums, which were way cuter than the pants I brought. Jane provided water taxi contacts and tour company that picks you up at right at the house!! Definitely a bonus to check out the area. Loved seeing little geckos running around inside. Best airbnb I've ever stayed in!!

We had a wonderful time at Gael‘s place, we especially loved the garden and the wonderful terrace. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, we would totally love to come back one day! Thank you for the amazing time! 🙂

I stayed at Dave's place for a week while working remotely. The place itself is beautiful, maybe a 15-20 minute leisurely walk from the center, a much quicker easy bike ride, or of course you can take a taxi for a dollar and arrive in a minute. The place was clean and as well-equipped as one's own home. The shower was warm. The personal and common spaces were comfortable and so was I. I slept well every night. Dave has obviously put a lot of thought into organizing and providing the necessary items for his guests. Besides the space itself, Dave was a great host: a perfect combination of sociability and respect for privacy. He always invited me to social gatherings and told me of happenings around town, but never in any sort of pressuring way, and completely understanding and respectful of when I needed to focus on work. In short, if you wanna have a relaxing stay, he's down with that. If you want to have a fun-filled stay, I bet he's down for that. Or if you have a mixed work-vacation as I did, he's great for that too.

Me encanto, es el lugar más lindo del lugar, es super cerca de todo, tiene la playa Carenero muy cerca caminando, es hermoso lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados, no dudes en visitarlo.

Merveilleux séjour! La chambre flottante est une expérience à vivre. Endroit calme, intime et une nature magnifique. Les installations sont construites et décorées avec goût et souci du détail. On peut voir des paresseux à quelques coups de rames de l'hébergement. Les hôtes, Sylvie et Olivier, sont vraiment sympathiques! Je recommande chaudement cet hébergement!

The Firefly was an amazing relaxing getaway. Tucked into a lush seaside spot. It seemed very private and quiet but really just steps from quaint Old Bank. Staff were attentive and fun but never invasive We had great breakfasts and looked forward to trying everything on their dinner menu, The creative and fresh options were a highlight

The scenery is breathtaking! The views from our room, the sounds of the jungle, the ocean view from the restaurant are deeply beautiful. It is a perfect place to relax and a base for excursions. Meghan’s breakfast and dinner is highly recommended and the tasty vegetarian recipes contributed to the feeling of being “off the grid”. The yoga studio is large and beautiful with an amazing view and there are paddle boards and snorkel gear. Could not recommend it more!

de woonkamer keek uit op de jungle, wat fantastisch was! het was wel laagseizoen toen wij er waren, dus het was niet mogelijk om te ontbijten of een yogaklas te volgen, alsnog heb je zelf toegang tot deze ruimte en kun je dit zelf doen. alles kwam overeen met hoe het vantevoren beschreven is, veel trappen en midden in het groen van de jungle! savonds en bij het wakker worden hoor je de howler apen en als je geluk hebt zie je ze ook! wat een bijzondere ervaring. het verblijf is wat verder weg van het centrum maar met het huren van een scooter is dit opgelost. het contact met verhuurder is goed, vooral via app wat prima werkt. we hebben een uniek verblijf gehad met schitterende uitzichten!
