Es un lugar hermoso! El desayuno espectacular, y las vistas del lugar hacen que no te quieras ir, caminando puedes ir a cerro punta el área turistica por tus fresas con crema, llevar un vinito y usar la Chimenea, las temperaturas ameritan ir abrigado. ♡ Amé este lugar y de seguro volveré.♡

I just finished seven wonderful days at Gudrun's exceptional BNB. The photos and description do not do justice to this beautiful stay. She was very helpful with information before and after I got there. Everyday started with an excellent breakfast with home made bread, jams, yogurt with mango sauce, fresh fruit, an omelete plus great coffee. Her back yard is full of amazing flowers and birds. My Merlin bird app found about 20 different birds in 10-15 minutes in her yard. The hummingbirds will buzz you as you eat. Her recommendations for local hikes, the archeologic site, and local restaurants were spot on. The facilities were immaculate. I did not partake, but she has a sauna and steam room. I did enjoyed her wonderful massage in a most peaceful setting. It was about a 10 minute walk to Guadalupe, a small farming community. There is a lot to do in this area. Her internet worked well. It was a perfect stay and I am already planning a return in October. Don't miss this wonderful spot.

Easily the nicest, kindest, most gracious hosts I've had on AirBnB, also the first bed and breakfast I've stayed at on the app. Fantastic breakfast and a great time all around. Also walkable to Bocas town easily

this was our first time to Panama and the first time staying at a B&b. Angie was helpful from the first time we got there to we left. She and her husband outdid themselves on the breakfast. They always communicated on a daily basis if we needed them and always giving suggestions. I cannot say enough about our stay at there place . we would definite advise people to stay there and if we come back we would stay there . Thank You Angie for making our stay amazing Thank you again.

Si buscas una zona tranquila donde disfrutar de la naturaleza y la playa es tu sitio. El hotel tenía todas las facilidades que puedes necesitar, la comida está rica y Nahuel preparaba unos cócteles estupendos. Para llegar tienes todas las facilidades, en transporte público o con un taxi del cual te facilitan el número.

We stayed here for our ten year anniversary celebration and were so happy we did. The weather ended up being a bit on the rainy side, but we still had a wonderful time going on lots of walks, playing games, swimming in the rain, and of course enjoying the food. Definitely our favorite food we had during our whole trip in Panama. We would have extended if we could only to try more from their menu. Thank you for a really relaxing time and we hope to visit your paradise again someday.

The Firefly was an amazing relaxing getaway. Tucked into a lush seaside spot. It seemed very private and quiet but really just steps from quaint Old Bank. Staff were attentive and fun but never invasive We had great breakfasts and looked forward to trying everything on their dinner menu, The creative and fresh options were a highlight

Wij hebben een onvergetelijke tijd gehad op bird island. De locatie is uniek en prachtig, de bungalow was comfortabel en mooi ingericht, het personeel was vriendelijk en professioneel en het eten was heerlijk en gezond!

Firefly is a really cute place to stay on Bastimentos island! If not for the rooms, be sure to try at least the food: it was nothing short of amazing! And breakfast is included too, and those didn't disappoint! We were greatly welcomed with drinks and recommendations as well. The room is typical of Bocas: water from rainwater, no A/C but fans (the room is near the ocean so there's fresh air, works pretty well), basic bathroom. Nothing fancy but it's functional and part of the island's charm. The only downside we found was that although it's facing the ocean (beautiful view and sunsets!), there isn't a beach nor places to really swim (water is accessible but it isn't easy). For a sand beach you'll have to walk to town and do a short hike (about 30mn total from Firefly). We recommend the place for sure !

Die Unterkunft ist hochwertig gebaut und bietet einen tollen Blick auf das Meer sowie auf die Bird Island. Die Liegestühle und Stühle auf der Terrasse laden ein zu entspannen. Das Zimmer war sauber und bot ausreichend Ablageflächen. Der Ventilator im Zimmer sorgte für angenehme Luftzirkulation in der Nacht. Das Restaurant der Unterkunft verdient besondere Erwähnung. Die Speisen waren von höchster Qualität und die Cocktails der Bar waren köstlich! Das freundliche und hilfsbereite Team war immer zur Stelle. Ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft trug maßgeblich dazu bei, dass ich mich hier sehr wohl fühlte. Die WLAN Verfügbarkeit war ausreichend, die Übertragungskapazität durch die Starlink Verbindung aber teilweise stark limitiert. Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft überragend und ich kann sie jedem empfehlen. Wenn Sie nach einem Ort suchen, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und gleichzeitig Natur zu genießen, dann ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie!

Pasamos solo dos noches en La Luciérnaga, pero hubiéramos querido que fueran muchas más. Es uno de los mejores lugares en los que me he quedado: limpio, bonito, cómodo y con anfitriones cálidos y pendientes del bienestar de sus huéspedes. Carlo y su familia son atentos y educados, excelentes personas. La habitación es tal cual se ve en las fotos, el baño tiene una ducha linda y con un caudal refrescante y revitalizante. La cama es super confortable y se duerme arrullado por los sonidos de la naturaleza. El área de cocina es muy completa y cómoda y el espacio de terraza con hamacas es relajante. El wifi muy bien. Aunque está a unos 4 km del centro de Bocas, es fácil desplazarse en taxi o bien caminar un poco para tomar el microbús público. Está a medio camino hacia Playa Bluff y La Piscina y cerca de donde se puede tomar el micro para ir a Playa de Las Estrellas. Y la cereza del pastel: el desayuno. Simplemente delicioso. Comida casera con detalles de Italia. ¡Super recomendado! <3

I had a great stay at La Luciernaga. Carlo and his wife are amazing, they welcome you and give you all recommendations to enjoy your stay. The breakfast is just EXCELLENT!!! Fresh fruits, eggs and the surprise du chef … you can have a chat with Tabi the female cat of the house in the dining area. The place is quiet, a little far from the centre and you can hear birds in the early morning. Room is clean, with private bathroom and they even provide beach towels. I used taxi to go from and to other places, it’s usually 3USD for the city centre. Carlo will give you some taxi numbers in case you need them. I strongly recommend La Luciernaga for your stay at Bocas del toro.

Wonderful 4 day stay at Sally and Mike's. If the house and surroundings are beyond gorgeous, the attentiveness and warmth of the hosts are top notch. Felt at home right away. Hosts are very proactive and will share their recommendations for a perfect stay, from day excursions to taxis, beaches, or restaurants with daily specials. Very comfortable room, extremely clean, quiet and private. Great attention to detail. Delicious breakfasts and wonderful atmosphere with the other guests. Very clean water in the bay allowed for morning or afternoon swims, kayaking or simply floating away on water beds right from the deck. Transportation to Bocas town or other beaches on the island is quick and cheap (3 min walk to main road, $1-$2 per person to town by public bus or taxi). Water taxis are also an option and will bring you back straight to the house dock after dinner at local restaurants. What else can you need for a perfect relaxing vacation? Highly recommended. We will be back. Thank you!

Sally and Mike were awesome!!!! When we first arrived Sally was so sweet and very welcoming ! Their bnb is literally gorgeous, has the most perfect dock to watch the fish swim around. I love books and she had a couple “lonely planet” books to help with what to do in Bocas del toro. Also, Sally and Mike provide a delicious breakfast every morning (something different each time ! ) The rooms are very spacious and so clean! Sally and Mike described a local drop off spot for us when we took the local bus or a taxi, which was so so so helpful! They had made a “cheat sheet” of the islands with amazing recommendations of places to eat. If we had any questions Sally and Mike responded extremely quickly and were always so helpful! My husband and I really enjoyed staying at sunsetters ! We will definitely be back especially because completely fell in love with Bocas del Toro. Thank you Sally and Mike !!

How do I describe perfect? Everything was exactly how Cassandra describe it. It was extremely peaceful. I enjoyed trying the different restaurants that Cassandra offered for breakfast options. It was quite easy to flag down a taxi. Knowing this, I will book here in the future. All the recommendations were wonderful. I even enjoyed the rainy day in which I spent the afternoon in the hammock. It was amazing.

The place was nice & clean as advertised. Everything was very good. Definetly recommendable
