Bob’s place was amazing! We had such a good time and bob had all the instructions laid out and prepared for everything to make it easier for us!

We had a great stay and succeeded in finding a private, relaxing space for our coastal weekend! The place is great - updated, cozy, large enough for 4 people. We appreciated the local recommendations and had a great long weekend!

Wow! What a fantastic value and so close to so many magical places! Monte Rio Park is wonderful, with scenic hiking trails, seasonal creeks, and stunning redwoods. Jenner is just a short drive away and offers plenty of beach access. We also spent a lot of time in Bodega Bay and Point Reyes—both a bit farther south, but absolutely worth the drive. On your way out of town, be sure to stop in Duncans Mills and grab the spicy mustard ham and cheese croissant at the local coffee shop—SO good! A couple of things to note: If you're driving a large truck or RV, the narrow road can be a bit tricky due to parked cars. It's definitely doable but worth mentioning. Also, if you're bringing pets, be aware that there’s no grass or designated potty area for dogs. There is a small dirt patch under the stairs that became our go-to spot, but there’s no grass at the house or on the street. We 100% recommend this place and would love to visit again! Chad was a terrific host.

I had this house on my bucket list for years. There are lots of reasons it’s booked up most of the time. It’s beautiful, cozy, less than 5 minutes from Pt. Reyes Station and 20 minutes from the spectacular beaches of Pt. Reyes National Seashore. Dave, who manages the house, is very responsive and respectful of guest privacy. The sunroom is amazing. I could go on. I plan to come back many times.

Margaret's place is a gem. It has a perfect cabin-in-the-redwoods feel to it. Very cozy. The king bed is incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotless. The living room was perfect for lounging. The only item I would point out is the lack of a microwave. The listing did not show a microwave, but this should be called out specifically. Otherwise, everything was perfect with the kitchen. There's no TV, but that was just fine - the internet service is more than adequate for streaming if needed. We loved the place and hope to return soon.

A beautifully designed modern cabin with echoes of Mid Century Modern touches, with all the comfort and amenities of home. Chad was a pleasure to work with, was communicative, helpful and always provided quick responses. The cabin is set in a canopy of redwood trees, this was exquisite, cannot wait to return to this home at our soonest opportunity.

Definitely loved the overall stay of this place! Made the environment feel like home, and allowed a peaceful getaway from the city life! Everything about this place is beautiful down to the walk to the place! Definitely recommend if you want to have a nice vacation!

This is a lovely cottage in a spectacular location. The cottage is amply sized for a couple or small family, and has a large and well-equipped kitchen, excellent bathroom, and comfortable bedroom. (Note that there is no divider between the bedroom and the rest of the home, so that could be an issue for some, but it was completely fine for us.) The cottage is 50 steps up above the road, so it feels extremely private and has fantastic views. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely spot in Bolinas, so close to the ocean that you can smell it on the breeze. Would certainly come back again.

This was just a wonderful experience staying in this cabin on the river in the midst of beautiful redwoods. JENNIFER was just a wonderful host, anytime we had a question she got back to us quickly. It’s a great location with a couple restaurants within walking distance and wonderful small little villages and towns not too far away by car. If you’re looking to get away, this is an incredible value.

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

Probably the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced at an Airbnb. This place truly has everything you need to be a home away from home and more. My kids loved the sea ranch kids park near shell beach. The hosts we're extremely kind and responsive, even on Christmas day for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is perfect for dog parents!! There are locations that are pet friendly then there are places that are pet welcoming! This house has everything you’d want for a vacation away from home with your dogs! The hosts were amazing and communicative when we had a small hiccup. They had a property manager on site within minutes and were able to adequately address our concerns! 10/10 would return here!!

The accommodations were just as described on the website. I would also add it was spacious, clean, quiet, and had a large deck with a beautiful view. The owner quickly responded to all inquiries we sent to her.

Very nice host, clean and comfortable little house. Comfortable beds, quiet. Close and convenient to Marshall (great oysters), Pt Reyes Station, and Point Reyes National Park. The cabin is not right on the water--there's a house in front of it, which was not clear to us in advance.

Highly recommended / 5 stars! Lovely, cozy, well-appointed cabin in the woods yet a 4 minute drive / 20 minute walk into the heart of Guerneville. The cabin feels peaceful and private -- like you're in a treehouse amid the forest -- but it's super easy to get to the restaurants, bars and more of the adorable town of Guerneville. The place was spotless, warm and well-appointed, and Jessica was super friendly and communicative. It was too cold in late December to make use of the spacious deck, but I imagine that in other seasons, it would be a great place to entertain or enjoy meals and time in the beautiful surroundings. Thanks Jessica for the wonderful stay!

This cabin was an absolutely magical retreat on a rainy and sleepy weekend. We found the living room couch an immediate landing zone, complete with fluffy blankets and enough pillows to make it the perfect lounge area for the weekend. The kitchen is well stocked, bathroom has lovely amenities including high quality bath products, and the beds and linens were perfect. In general we felt the ease of being in a home with the luxury of being at a high end hotel. We will definitely be back. Thx Libby!

This was our second time staying at The Hideout, and it was just as magical as the first! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The space is exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect, with easy access to nature and nearby gems. And Aggie is an incredible host—so kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and inviting place to stay, we can’t recommend The Hideout enough. We’ll definitely be back again!

The place was very cute and in a beautiful location. We felt extremely comfortable and felt right at home. It was relatively close to lots of beautiful trails, and perfect for a weekend getaway to reconnect with nature.

We had a great stay. The cabin is beautiful and had domestic touches like a huge soaking , a well stocked refrigerator, and a great selection of paperbacks. Even though it is next to the main house it felt private and secluded. The location in Bolinas is very convenient, off the main drag but a quick walk or drive to the shops/restaurants. Angela was helpful and responsive. A couple things to note about the cabin. First, the WiFi is patchy, Angela said it was because of the construction happening nearby. Second, there is a septic tank which means you have to put your used TP in the trash next to the toilet. If you’re ok with those two things you will have a great time, but if you are trying to work remotely or you’ve never dealt with a septic tank before, this might not be the right fit for you.
