We had a good time in Hill Country and Laura's place was ideal for two families. We enjoyed a good fire every night and kids had plenty of fun running around in the river.

Perfect getaway when we needed a peaceful weekend. Cute cabin and great hot tub! Definitely will book again.

Beautiful cottage with spectacular view of the river. So close to the river parks which were both wonderful! House was sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need (even things you didn’t think you needed). Hosts were incredible and so inviting. We felt right at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights & a day. It was a much needed reset and this place was the best most peaceful stay we’ve had in a long time. Easy instructions, easy check in. The casita was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. I don’t have any complaints, instead a warning. The bed is comfy but on the softer side. With sciatic issues I need my bed to be a bit harder. It’s not enough to dock our rating because it’s only my preference. My husband on the other hand loved relaxing in it. Overall I would recommend this place and would return. Thank you for opening your Casita to us. Looking forward to our next visit. Oh, and coming from California we’ve never seen so much wildlife. Definitely a plus!

Omg, the place was great! Ashley was a great host made our stay extra special when she didn’t have to. The place was awesome and even though it was bit of a bad weather we still made the best of it. We couldn’t let bad weather get in the way of the hot tub which we really enjoyed and the fireplace inside made it perfect for staying indoors and enjoying time. Thank you Ashley for hosting us. Can’t wait to go back.

There are 2 houses on this property. I was staying 2 months, and about 10 days into my stay the hot water heater began leaking in the Plum Cottage. A replacement heater had to be ordered. I was offered the chance to move to the other (bigger) Stone House at no additional cost, either until the repair was made, or for the duration of my stay. I chose to remain at the bigger house for the duration. Not only was it an upgrade, but it kept me from having to move all my stuff yet again. That was a very kind offer !! Although this location is in the country and very peaceful, Wimberley is just a short drive for any needed supplies or to visit shops and restaurants. As I'd drive down the road this property is on, folks would wave when passing. I once encountered a deer in the yard as I was heading out. It moved a little farther away, but was still enjoying being on the property a little later when I returned. Nice to be in nature and able to share the same space. A pleasant stay !!

My family and enjoyed our stay very much. We booked the house for Christmas and when we arrived the house had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and throughout the house was holiday decor. It really felt warm and cozy and we were extremely pleased with our experience. We definitely would stay again! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

The cabin was great to stay at, a getaway to enjoy away from the city was nice! It truly is an amazing spot, the property is walkable and there is lots to do around the area as well. From the winery nearby to many brewing spots to enjoy. The place matched the description having everything needed for our stay.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and the ease of access to the river made for the perfect weekend. No worrying about parking, renting tubes, getting picked up by a van- just walk in and walk out back to the house. It is a beautiful little gem.

This home is in a perfect location for enjoying all of San Antonio. We were able to easily walk to the Riverwalk and found nearby grocery shopping, plus it’s convenient to the Pearl which is a must-do when visiting. The home itself is unique and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings and stunning artwork. Any time I head to San Antonio, I’ll be sure to check for availability of this home.

Great location!! Having the river so close was so enjoyable! Very peaceful! Very clean home and had everything we needed!

Love staying in campfire circle and Donna’s place was no exception. It was perfect for our crew, had stunning views, lots of deer, and each room was cutely decorated for Christmas. The house is FULLY stocked with anything you may need, which is much appreciated. This is how Airbnb used to be before all the good properties were snatched up by corporations. Classic, family owned home with all the charm and attention to detail.

What an amazing place! The studio was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. The yard outside the studio was a beautiful spot for outdoor dining on the giant picnic table. We enjoyed swinging in the hammock and sitting by the fire ring in the evening. We loved walking around the ranch and looking at all the flowers, the scenery, the horses (especially the new foal), etc. The hike around the mountain/hill was just strenuous enough with lots of beautiful views (be sure to bring water)! Finally, their spot on the river was perfect. At this time of year many spots have run dry or stagnant, however, at Montesino there was still enough water in the swimming hole to have a good soak. It’s warm (as all Tx rivers are at this time of year), and there’s moss covering the rocks (again, as every river in Tx has right now) but the water is moving so it’s not stagnant and it’s still cool enough before 3 pm to be refreshing! It was a lovely time!

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

We had a great stay, enjoyed the heated pool and was very relaxing after a long day in seaworld. Tiffany was very responsive.

I enjoyed the privacy of the cottage. Although the weather was too cold to enjoy, the backyard pool looked beautiful and inviting. The house was clean and the bed comfortable. I had a lovely stay.

Bringing my kids to a town very close to my heart was made even better by this beautiful home. The pool, 3 bathrooms and amazing surroundings made this the perfect place to spend a summer vacation with our family.

We love staying here. It is a great location right in town, but feels like you are out in the county. Beautiful views, the place has a great pool, game room and nice kitchen with everything you need. We will be back!

Wonderful spot and super close to the base gate! They even had a thought sign welcoming our family… really nice!!! Would absolutely stay there again, and I highly recommend this home to any and all BMT families!
