Only issue we had, guys are avid fisherman, due to low tides and timing of such, we could not dock our boat at the house. Thankfully boat launch was 2 minutes down the road so it didn’t interfere with them fishing😊. Besides that perfect vacation, beautiful water, scenery, islands to tour and very relaxing time in the evenings😊

being from the outer Banks area and coming back to visit we couldn't have found a better place,it offered things I didn't know were available there...the host were great and responsive and understanding and the house was everything that was described, the feeling of home is the only way to describe the stay, the overwhelming feeling of peace is an understatement,definitely going back in the near future,highly recommend Brittany and Kelly to anyone who sees this add 🙏🙏

When other spring break plans fell through, we found this place last minute and Michael was so accommodating and flexible, and my son and myself could not be more appreciative. We were very lucky to have found this beautiful spot right on the canal! All kinds of entertainment: the kayaks, paddle boards, ping-pong, darts, well stocked! Michael was very responsive, the place was bright and open, with a gorgeous screened in back deck. It was very peaceful with the sounds of the seagulls, the masts, and the boats going by, what a treat…

Our family enjoyed a month-long stay at this beautiful property. The space is tranquil, well-appointed, welcoming, and calming- uncluttered. The kitchen is well stocked (e.g., generous numbers of dinnerware and utensils) to allow meal prep and family dining. Easy cleanup throughout the home (no carpets, just area rugs; washer and dryer). The first floor primary suite allowed 2 family members with limited mobility to join us and participate. The home easily and comfortably accommodated our family (5 adults and 2 children). We love the area and enjoy the local restaurants and cute boutiques for shopping. Plenty of entertainment for children- playgrounds, nearby waterfront, local beaches, ferry excursions, and pools in season. We highly recommend this home and plan to return in the near future. Bonnie is an excellent host!

Michelle’s home is pristinely clean and beautiful! The layout is perfect for a group. The elevator was so helpful for my ADA needs, as well as in general for our groceries and luggage. Between the two decks and fenced backyard, there are multiple outdoor ocean side options for relaxing, meals, or games. Our group also really enjoyed the kayak. Michelle is a great communicator and so hospitable. Highly recommend, and we look forward to a future stay.

The house was a good size to accommodate our family of 13, and was very clean and comfortable. The views couldn’t have been any more beautiful! There were plenty of things to do around the property, and close by. Garet was very clear with instructions and things to do near by! Would definitely love to stay again! The house was beautiful and everything was perfect. Isaac was very responsive and helpful. Having access to the backyard to take our dogs out was so convenient. We would absolutely stay here again!

We LOVED this place. The dock was perfect for the boys to fish and catch shrimp. The location was a quick walk to the beach for the girls and a short distance to the boat launch. We’ll definitely go back!

Steve and Hannah’s home was perfect for a family get away. The house was cozy and had beautiful sunrise and sunset views!

Before we arrived Sue let us know that we would be able to check in a little early, which was a nice gesture. The home itself was immaculate and exactly as described and the view of the sound was beautiful. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to utilize the kayaks or paddleboards but we definitely want to come back and stay an extra day or 2 when it's warmer. There was a coffee bar stocked with lots of goodies too and even some additional equipment in the outdoor storage like life jackets and toys for the beach. We had to come back because we left something and got to meet Sue and she was very friendly, as expected, and welcoming. We loved this place and enjoyed her as our host!

Beautiful and well kept home. Love the closeness only 3 min drive from main beach. Teenagers were able to walk to DQ. They blew up the tires on the bike but one needs a tube. There was everything you would need except a potatoe masher (now there is one). Grocery store and shops were so close.

We absolutely love Soundmohr! We have stayed here multiple times, and Trent and Ginny have always been spectacular hosts! This year we sent our parents here for their 50th Anniversary and they found it to be a cozy and welcoming home away from home. Trent and Ginny saw to every detail to make it a lovely retreat. We loved everything about his place. My grandkids loved the dock because they could fish right in the backyard and we could see them from the back decks. We saw dolphins a few morning and even saw a stingray from the dock. Frederick was an awesome host. We would love to come back early spring or fall so they could catch some fish. Thank you we made some great memories! Beautiful and so peaceful!

Second time that I have been here and it was just as amazing as the first time. It is literally a play ground with all the water activities right at your fingertips and the sunrises and sunsets are picturesque!!!

We had a good time. The place is as described and has everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. The porch was awesome!
