My sister and I have been coming to the carriage house for a few years now… We love this place so much! It is comfy and cozy and close to Harper‘s Ferry, but not exactly in it, which is kind of nice. A great place for a weekend getaway!

This was our second time staying at Kelley’s place. This place is everything listed and more. Celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, Kelley surprised us with fresh flowers, champagne and snacks. Everything was so clean and the coffee area was incredibly well stocked. The hot tub has to be experienced to be believed. Kelley is an incredible host, both in communication and thoughtfulness with how the property is stocked. We hope to be back soon!

Julie is the epitome of a gracious host. Her warm hospitality shines through every detail of this impeccable home. Beyond its pristine cleanliness, it exudes charm and character, showcasing the care and love poured into crafting this beautiful space. From the unique decor to the thoughtful touches, it's not just a stay—it's an experience. As we departed, our spirits felt lifted, refreshed, and inspired. The Gibson House lived up to its superb ratings. Upon our arrival, two beautiful horses in the nearby paddock came over to the fence to greet us. The house was spacious with a large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating areas. Wonderful sunlight through the plentiful windows and views of the horse farm and woodlands. The garage was convenient for unloading and loading the car. Even during a very cold stretch of winter weather, we enjoyed walking the woodland trails behind the house and driving (10 minutes) to charming, downtown Middleburg for window shopping and dining at restaurants like the King Street Oyster Bar and the Salamander Resort’s Harriman’s Grill. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

I’ve stayed here several times and love that I’m out in the country yet close to shopping/restaurants. Mary is a great hostess- very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend staying here.

Quiet place in a convenient location only a short drive from the Metro. Convenient groceries near by (Giant) and made for a great base as we balanced visiting sites in downtown DC with visiting relatives in Centreville.

Incredibly peaceful setting within 10 minutes of the C&O Canal towpath and all the charm shepherdstown has to offer. Extremely well stocked kitchen and the new hot tub after a long hike overlooking farm fields was like an elixir for the soul. We will always stay with Dave when in Shepherdstown!

This was my second stay at Matt & Sarah's. It's easy to get to from I81, is clean and tidy and I love that my dogs are welcome!

Great place to gather with our family for hiking and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked. Propane grill was a nice plus! Connor was a great host!

Perfect location for a women’s wellness retreat! The ladies are already asking when we can come back. Plenty of spaces big and small to facilitate us, both as a group as well as individuals looking to relax and recharge. Having two kitchens was nice for feeding such a big group, and the heated saltwater pool was the cherry on top!

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

I planned to propose to my girlfriend over a romantic farm and Shenandoah getaway weekend. Andrea was very excited and helped make the weekend really special. The grounds were amazing and so beautiful with trails to take walks on and many animals to see. We brought our puppy and we had plenty of space to safely let him off leash to run around. He had as much fun as we did (and we got engaged!) Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, so definitely give those a try. We did the farm tour on the last day, and it was so personal, interactive and informative. Do not skip the tour!!! Andrea was so kind and generous with us. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Incredibly grateful for this home and for the KOA next to it! We knew we were booking a home with lots of bedrooms a hot tub (the most important things!) but we had no idea it offered so much more. A working fireplace when we got snowed in, a KOA with plenty of activities literally next door, a stunning walking path that we took through the snow when we got snowed in, and an incredibly kind crew who helped us get our cars un-stuck. If I had to be anywhere during a snowstorm, it would be here. And if I had any questions, the KOA was there next door to answer them. Super easy. We were walking distance to tubing, a six minute drive from historic downtown. We just have to come back when the weather is nicer to take advantage of the mini golf!

This place made me and my family feel right at home. They had everything we needed. They even provided a few snacks, coffee, and toys to accommodate the younger kids. I’ve never stayed anywhere that felt this at home. I didn’t reach out much during my trip, but when I did, they responded right away. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Nice place and clean. Tucked away as soon as you make the turn (on the right). Not a “traditional” Airbnb since there are additional rules and agreements outside Airbnb. I didn’t get that information until we booked it.

Our stay was peaceful. Our first time for my wife and I along with our 15 year old daughter in Woodstock. The home is located around 3 other homes on open cow pasture land, but far enough to be very private. The kitchen was just remodeled and looks very nice along with new appliances. Inside was very clean and beds comfortable with memory foam mattresses. Internet was good enough to stream over TV in home. It was quiet at night, road you're on is private and very limited noise from vehicles on it day or night, although I did not see a speed limit sign so vehicles go any speed along that route. We didn't use the hot tub, pool(off season), grill or firepit(burning ban). We did use the ping pong table in garage and watched the TV in the area attached to it, very nice addition! It turned out very windy during our stay and with that it carried the highway traffic noise downwind which was worse at certain times outside, not inside. Other than that out stay was relaxing, visiting the area.

We had a fabulous time. There were many toys for the kids. We appreciated the sleeping options and loved that there were two king beds. They also left some snacks for us. It was only 30 minutes from whitetail resort which felt manageable.

Donna and Robert thought of everything! The space is so spacious and comfortable. You can truly see the thought that went into this space. Anything you need, it is provided. The bed is super comfy. We slept like babies. We arrived late, which we try to avoid. Robert and Donna were so accommodating. We so appreciate that! We will definitely stay again while in the area.

Ryam is a very responsive host. The apartment was as described and he was very flexible with the check-in which helped us greatly. The apartment was close to the downtown and all of the Frederick amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all.

Steve's place is awesome. Squeaky clean. Comfortable beds and all the amenities of home. And a great location only 10 minutes from Gettysburg and the battlefield. I will definitely stay here again Tony

We ended up booking with Joseph again on our way home on a road trip, after having stayed with him at the start of our trip. Very peaceful and private location, but also very close (<10 minutes drive) to shopping, groceries, local restaurants, fast food, gas, downtown area, ice cream, nature walks, etc. It is evident that they strive to provide a high-quality experience.
