A wonderful place to stay in Sudavik! The house was clean and comfortable for our family. The town was very peaceful and the harbor and playground are gems. Thank you for a wonderful place to rest!

Haukur and Vaida’s home in Isafjodur was perfect to explore the area, beautifully appointed, quaint, and felt so cozy to come home to after a long day of trekking through the west fjords. The house also had the perfect bedroom for our two children, was walkable to city center, and a lovely house cat Hosa who made the stay even more enjoyable!

The Airbnb is very special and has a fairytale feeling to it like quality! Sat among beautiful green mountains. Our host was not only responsive, but gave local recommendations of amazing places to go see. He gave us a tour in history of his property. He was so friendly and genuine. The overall experience was more than I could’ve expected. I can’t say enough about the general area if you come in the time of August to September the sunsets right off the balcony where you can cook food or drink, hot tea and enjoy your afternoon. Not just another place to stay, but now a landmark that I will be visiting on my trips back to Iceland.

A quiet retreat in the Westfjords not far from the town of Isafjorda. The home was clean and peaceful and gave us room to spread out. It has a beautiful view of the mountains flanking each side of the fjord and was very private even with other homes nearby. We appreciated having a hot tub to relax at the end of the day and access to a laundry room.

Our stay at Madeleine's house was one of the highlights of our trip. It is decorated with impeccable taste, we loved looking at the book collection and the location was perfect. The kitchen was nice and functional, and the beds were super comfortable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Isafyordur is a raw and beautiful place. The long drives to the hot pools was definitely worth it! Bonus store was only minutes away and good prices were to be found. A short drive to Bolungarvik and their pool was a treat!! Overall, I loved Isafyordur and would love to return.

Philip’s house is beautiful and very cozy. Everything is there, all kitchen utensils and bathroom products, even movies and fantastic board games. I especially liked the viking game and highly recommend to try it. You can really feel at home there.

This is our second time in this cabin. It’s a beautiful rather simple place, very close to Ísafjörður but secluded, in nature. You are surrounded by a forest, with a constant sound of the waterfall and a beautiful view towards the fjord. There are nice big windows, everything you need to cook, and a feeling of home, with all the ornaments. The bed and shower are a bit small, but you can manage. Johann is extremely hospitable and let us stay a few extra hours the day after our big Horsnstrandir hike to do our laundry in the nearby campground. Thank you, Jói!
