This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

We had the most peaceful winter getaway at the cabin! The cabin was the perfect place to get out of the city and enjoy the natural surroundings, the quiet, and the snow. We loved having a cozy fire in the woodstove or a hottub soak after a snowy hike or snowshoe at Gatineau Park. What a beautiful place. Thank you Kim and Scott!!

Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Walking into the nook - you feel immediately at home and relaxed. Every detail that Melissa and Greg put in is so thoughtful and warm! We had such a beautiful and connected time. Enjoyed the games, the sauna and the peace and quiet more than we can express. We definitely will be back. Highly highly recommend to anyone needing to unplug, recharge and connect.

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

My stay at the cabin was absolutely delightful! The check-in process was seamless, and the host was incredibly helpful and communicative, making everything so easy. The cabin itself was warm, cozy, and impeccably clean, with everything we needed for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely getting to feed the animals – the sweet donkey Pablo, the friendly horse Coalie, and the playful goats and alpacas. It was such a unique experience! The entire property is tranquil and beautiful, providing the perfect escape. I would love to return for another relaxing getaway! If you like winter walking, grab some snowshoes and book. We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

stayed the night last minute. Jim was very responsive. was a long trip from barrie - Kingston. this spot was comfy and made me and the pup feel right at home. Will be returning when I have more time to enjoy the beauty of this place

we decided on a 5 day family vacation with my 2 boys and our French bulldog. we wanted something unique, off grid, peaceful and where we can connect as a family after a busy summer. the tiny oak cabin delivered all of the above. we were surrounded by beautiful scenery, forestry and incredible sunsets. fresh farm eggs were available for purchase as well as firewood making it easy to access! Andrea and her family were so pleasant and let my boys feed the farm baby goats. what a great experience from beginning to end. would definitely recommend!!!!

My partner and I spent 2 nights at The Cabin By The Stream in -5C weather. The cabin was lovely and cozy and peaceful - perfect for a brief escape from hectic city living. John was a thoughtful, courteous and communicative host. We would highly recommend a stay!

We had the most amazing time at the Conifer cabin. The interior is tastefully done and the place is immaculate! Very cozy, relaxing, quiet -just PERFECT! I can go on and on. The sauna and the fireplace are a great addition and treat after a hike. As an outdoor lover, we truly enjoyed the surroundings -the nature. The kids enjoyed and couldn't wait to come back. Great place for a quite peaceful getaway. The hosts took great care of us. The cabin had everything we needed for our duration of the stay. Ansolutely loved our stay. Points for bbq facilities prividing us as much firewood as we wanted keeping us warm and cozy the host’s attention to detail with regards to meeting customer’s needs. spotless, clean showerroom

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. Cant say enough great things about our stay this weekend. The property was very clean, it says a lot when an outdoor kitchen is more clean than most indoor kitchens. It was a cold night so it was nice to have an awesome fire pit and the room for sleeping stayed warm throughout the night. Excellent communication from the host throughout the whole process. Will definitely be back here and have already recommended to several friends. Thanks!!

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin where we spent two days remote working and a weekend (internet connection is reliable). It is peaceful, we saw some little animals outside the cabin like a rabbit and a deer. Snowhoes are available to explore the domain and there is an access to the lake. It is beautiful, recharging and very homy. Thank you Magret

We visited in mid-October, and the foliage was amazing. The lake is indeed pristine. Very comfortable cabin; one 29 degree F night challenged the woodstove in the main room, but the bedroom was super cozy. Very near Algonquin PP so there is lots to do. Joanne and Lars were very responsive to questions.
