Das Haus liegt ruhig zwischen Bäumen an einem kleinen Bach. Aus dem Obergeschoss bietet es einen Blick auf die Berge und ist weniger als eine Stunde vom Great Sand Dunes Nationalpark entfernt. Von der Haustür aus sind es wenige Minuten zu den Trails von Crestone oder zum Aufstieg in die Berge. Das Besondere an dem Haus ist aber die Ruhe, die es ausstrahlt. Es ist der schönste und friedlichste Ort, den man sich vorstellen kann, wenn man abends der Dämmerung im Waldstück zuschaut oder den Vögeln zuhört, außer denen über Stunden kein Geräusch zu hören ist. Wer hier eintritt, kommt zur Ruhe und will bleiben. Leider hatte ich nur zwei Nächte Zeit. Das ist für diesen Ort viel zu kurz. Ich freue mich, dass ich da war.

This place was great, a few friends and I stayed here to head up to Monarch, and come back and recover afterwards. Great place to stay, super close to Monarch, stores, gas stations, but private enough to where it almost feels like it's a private cabin in the middle of nowhere! I plan on staying here again, if Mason allows me too!

A beautiful stay just outside the town of Salida. Ben and his employees were extremely resourceful and shared any information to make our stay easy! The room and bed were extremely cozy and had everything we needed for a comfy evening. The view from our bed that overlooked the mountains in the morning was amazing. Would recommend for anyone travelling through the area!

This was an incredible home! I have five children and finding a place for seven people is often a challenge. Everyone had adequate sleeping space, there were ample bathrooms (hello!), and the kitchen was FULLY stocked with enough pots, pans, and dishes so that we could easily feed our family. The kids especially enjoyed the foosball and pool tables, board and card games, and DVD selection (although we had to teach them how to use a DVD player haha). Every morning we woke up to turkeys and deer in our yard, and every evening we enjoyed the deck at the creek. Don't hesitate to snag this place. We have told our friends and family about this location and plan to return again. Thanks to our incredible hosts who ensured that we had every need met.

We stayed at Anne's place with our two kids and some adult family members. The location was fantastic, and the views from the house were second to none. We enjoyed the welcome snacks, hot tub, fireplace and used the well equipped kitchen to cook several meals. Everything was comfortable and very clean. Would recommend and stay here again!

The property was so beautiful and secluded. The wildlife and star gazing was great for the soul. Would recommend and stay here again!

Dennis’s carriage house apartment was very peaceful. I never heard a car drive by (except the neighbor pulling in and they were very quiet) The community of Baca Grande is a “Dark Sky Community” so there are no street lights or electrical poles above ground. You can see all the stars! The apartment is rustic but has everything you’ll need for a short stay. My favorite thing about the apartment was the bathtub overlooking a huge window, you can watch the sun set while taking a bath! Crestone is truly a mystical and magical place. This unit was also the most reasonable priced one I found on air b n b.
