The Eclectic Downtown Retreat was absolutely perfect for our stay! The location could not have been more convenient for walking to our favorite places - Acola coffee, Nourish Cafe, and Logboat Brewing. Cute art shops are two blocks away and worth a peek. Beds were comfy, and the home had everything we needed. Kara was responsive, helpful, and was generous in meeting a request we made. We will definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent visit. Russ was the best host we have ever had. He was quick to respond, helpful, professional and even asked if there was anything he could do for us. The house was by far the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Not only was the house spotless, it was well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hair dryer at the did not work. I sent him a text, within two hours two brand new hair dryers were at our door. The location was perfect for us. Thank you Russ.

Great place! The house was perfect for what we needed. It is close to campus, but very quiet. The house is extremely clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was nice. They were gracious enough to allow a late checkout when we asked and were responsive to every question. I would stay here again next time I am in Columbia. Thank you for the great stay!

This place was perfect for everything we wanted to do - right between St Louis and Kansas City so we got to enjoy both cities. Also biking distance from the Katy Trail so we got to bike that several days. Plus close to Columbia for short trips to shop and eat. The house itself is on a large gorgeous property with plenty of trails to explore and quiet places to sit or play. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our family. It was the perfect choice in every respect.

Kay is a wonderful host. She met us at the house, shared lots of helpful insight on the area (restaurants and points of interest) and we had an easy and relaxing time. Great location if you are visiting the University area.

This was our second stay in this location. We appreciate that our pets are welcome and it has a home away from home feeling.

This was a great stay for my family. Our host was extremely responsive and friendly. I stayed there with my 5 brothers and sisters and we were very comfortable.

Shawn & Betsy provided detailed instructions about how to find the house, which was important because maps apps don’t get you there. They were both proactive and responsive. The house was exactly as advertised. There was more than enough space to accommodate our group of 5. Great hosts!

This home is a great place for the price! Cute and quaint touches on every floor. From games to snacks/ coffee and even wipes! It's an older home, but worth the price. If you need a high end home or more than one shower - this isn't the place for you.

The house was just what we needed for our trip. It was close to campus and the downtown area. House was clean and the furniture was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed except sugar for the coffee. We will stay again!
