A lovely, spacious and homely apartment, located on a quiet road near amenities. Perfect location for excursions to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable - we had great nights sleep! The kitchen was well equipped. The host was polite and super responsive. Highly recommended!! Thank to you the wonderful host.

This was a perfect jump off point for exploring the area! Short drive in every direction for hikes and attractions. Sleepy little town with amazing views right out front. Loa was wonderful with recommendations and information. The home was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful view and comfortable space. We stayed for one night but it would be the perfect place to act as a base for exploring western Iceland. The food and coffee downstairs are very good as well.

Halldor was an excellent host. He was very proactive and responsive when communicating. I can tell the apartment we stayed in was recently updated. Very nice. It felt like home. Anyone looking for a place to stay while exploring the peninsula, I highly recommend staying here.

Birgir est vraiment accueillant et chaleureux !! Nous avons eu des problèmes d'avion et de voiture de location mais Birgir était au petit soin malgré notre retard et notre venu incertaine Très facile d'accès, avec le restaurant juste à côté qui est d'ailleurs très bon, fait maison, nous avons passé un superbe soirée et nuit. Le logement était plus moderne et mieux agencé quand photos donc vraiment une bonne surprise Je recommande vivement Birgir et ses appartements qui sont très bien pour une visite des cascades ou pour un départ vers la pointe ouest

We had a perfect stay. The apartment was conveniently located for exploring the area, and the host was very kind and attentive.

This was a fantastic little place to stay as we neared the end of our 10 day ring road journey! We checked in 30mins after the cafe closed but they still made us a full dinner and helped take it up to our room. The young woman who checked us in was responsive, helpful, and kind. The extra 10% discount at the cafe was also great! Everything was as described and it felt very homey.

It’s plenty room for two of us, but kitchen countertops need to improve
