Sivesh warmly welcomed us on our arrival and introduced us to the lovely house. The house was big, warm and full of characters. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was really good. Pathma was very responsive when we had a question about Wi-Fi. They also provided a highchair and a cot for my baby, which was very accommodating. The baby watched loads of planes taking off from the kitchen window, which was new and exciting for him and definitely a plus point for us!

This is our third stay at Monnybrook House and again another wonderful stay. Superb venue with everything you need. Flexibility, great communication and a view of the local alpacas. Friendly neighbourhood. Three great pubs within walking distance but we recommend the Crown Inn due to its great menu and very reasonable prices.

The Kennel was an amazing find, Pauline & Graham were very friendly and accommodating hosts. We genuinely felt welcome and loved both the accommodation and the wonderful garden which our dog couldn’t get enough of. We enjoyed our short stay here so much that we decided to book a second, and longer stay later this year.

This was a truly special stay. How often can you say you've stayed at a beautiful castle! Caroline was extremely responsive and everything was as described -- yes, that includes some limitations. When you are in a very historic building that's also someone's private home, you can't necessarily have every amenity that you get in a luxury hotel. But these limitations are very clearly communicated and completely reasonable (mostly that there are some areas of the grounds that are private/not for the Airbnb guests, and that the building gets cold). Caroline supplied many little touches that made it an extraordinary stay, and was very understanding about my young children.

Such a perfect place to stay with beautiful views, a variety of birds in the garden and peace and quiet. Welcome pack of milk, bread and jams. Everything you could need is to hand. Lovely community shop and nearby dog walks. Ideally situated for Haworth and Keighley

Had an absoloutly beautiful stay in this gorgeous cottage. Very clean and homely. Had everything we needed. The location is ideal for a peacfull stay in the countryside while still being close enough to visit the surrounding areas. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and cosy place to stay. I would definitely come back to stay, and would 100% recommend staying here. It was fully equipped with all the essentials and much more. York centre was a short drive away which was perfect for us.

This was a great place to stay and was perfect for our road trip. Everyone was clean and modern and Pamela was an excellent host. The little extra touches such as providing bread, milk and eggs added to what was a lovely overnight stop. I highly recommend it!

Amazing stay for our anniversary. Jo was super helpful and responded to every question really quickly. The pictures don’t really do the place justice. Beautiful grounds, super convenient spot, private parking and the flat itself was brilliant. Cosy, comfy, clean and had everything there for a hassle free stay. We will definitely be using again. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Great location for walks in the hills and along the canal right from the door step. Some lovely pubs to eat at within a short drive. The place was spotlessly clean. The home made banana bread was delicious and gratefully received. We were given a warm welcome and made sure we were settled in okay. Thank you very much!!

An Exceptional Stay – Perfect for Bikers and a Peaceful Getaway We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chris & Nikki’s Airbnb. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Both hosts went above and beyond – genuine, friendly people who couldn’t do enough for us. As fellow bikers, they truly understood our needs and even made space in their garage so our bikes could be stored safely and securely. That kind of thoughtfulness really made all the difference. The home itself is in an idyllic spot – peaceful, scenic, and perfectly located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Wolds. It was the ideal base for our countryside rides. One thing we particularly appreciated was the “no kids, no pets” policy. It’s rare these days to find a place that caters to adults seeking a bit of peace without the added chaos – it gave the whole stay a much more relaxing vibe. A special shout-out to Chris for lending a helping hand when I ran into an issue with my bike – he stepped in

Had a lovely stay- very peaceful, comfortable, well equipped and beautiful private place to stay. Fantastic location within walking distance of the lovely town and easy short drive to beautiful countryside. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing bad to say, it was a great location, the facilities were perfect, we had a wonderful stay, we didn’t see or speak to the host, we had no reason to, I’m sure if we’d needed them they’d have been available, highly recommend this place

Kate and Alan were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. The little touches of homemade jam and a loaf of bread were so thoughtful. There is everything you need for a very cosy homely stay. Very close to some breathtaking walks and views and gentle strolls along the canal are very close too. Very quiet and a wonderful location for exploring Poynton and the Peaks.

Absolute gem of a place, myself and my mum thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights here, Angela was a fantastic host I would highly recommend. Everywhere was spotless and the hot tub just topped it off. Thank you ☺️
