brilliant stay all around! hoping to stay again in one of the larger lodges.

What can I say about this place.. 100 things 100 times over!! I did not want to leave! On top of the amazing customer service despite it being a self check in, I felt super welcome immediately and made to sure his property which was absolutely to die for stunning; And looks far better than the photos lead on to believe, was kept squeaky clean and decluttered, exactly how it was when we arrived! Was meant to be only a simple stay for us as we intended on doing hikes in the local area but it ended up being the total highlight of our trip! Being able to allow our four dogs off leash from the front door of the property with no worries was absolutely amazing and they all extremely enjoyable the independence and joy of well kept, Clean grass, and the completely enclosed area surrounding ten Entire property, part of it with the main castle and part of it completely private with the hot tub and sauna to the rear. Never have I ever felt so secure in a property than this home. Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay with three families. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and we were lucky enough with the weather to be outside for the whole weekend. We made use of the garden and the great walks literally from the door . Close to Buxton too. Highly recommend.

The Old Barn is spacious and comfortable - just watch for some low hanging lights if you are tall! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The hot tub is great and the whole place is private. There is a narrow, steep track to get down to the lodges, but the roads and parking on the site itself are good.

This cottage was the best ever very clean and very private also loved the hot tube would stay there again highly recommended

An absolute hidden gem! Never stayed in such a homely, cosy, relaxing, perfect cottage. Everything you could wish for is there, beautiful location and so peaceful Cannot thank Romy, Tim and Luna enough for sharing their home The welcome basket even included chocolate for our dog Only downside is we didn’t stay long enough Wonderful stay and wonderful hosts Can’t wait to return

The house is a very spacious place, there was 5 of us who stayed. The hot tub was beautiful and very peaceful! A short drive into the town of Buxton and a short drive to the Peak District National Park. Brian was very good with communicating with me, and even had multiple banners in place for us on arrival for a birthday which we were having a weekend away for!

We had the most wonderful weekend at Helen's cottage. Every detail was thoughtfully curated with guests in mind. From the homemade bread, muesli, welcome snacks, and locally sourced produce to the selection of beer, wine, and spirits available for purchase—it was perfect for when, after a long hike, you just can't face the thought of heading to the shops (even though they’re just down the road). All these little touches made our stay feel extra special. This is an absolute gem and we hope to return again soon. Thank you Helen!

Stayed with my two dogs and it was perfect for us. Alot bigger inside than originally thought, very cosy. Perfect location for local walks just a short drive away. Wish we could have stayed longer

The Homestead was a lovely place to stay in what in our opinion is one of the nicest villages in The Peak District. The cottage exceeded our expectations, even after reading the many glowing reviews. It was homely and welcoming, yet spacious and very well-equipped. Every room was thoughtfully presented. We especially liked cooking in the impressive kitchen and relaxing during the cold evenings in the warm and comforting lounge. Judith is a fantastic host. Her communication was excellent, all instructions clear. It is obvious the she is both an experienced and caring host of many years. Finally a quick shout out for the location. For those that are perhaps new to The Peak District and wondering which part to stay in, Tideswell gets our votes. Wonderful dales walks can be accessed from the village and it is within 15 minutes drive of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Buxton. We couldn't recommend more highly. When we return to this area, we know where we shall be staying again.

Chimney Cottage was perfect for our stay! It is situated in a beautiful, peaceful village and the locals were all super friendly. It’s the type of place where people saying hello to each other when walking by. The cottage itself was exactly as described with everything you could need already thought of. I would definitely recommend this place if you like the quiet and enjoy scenic walks. The hosts were very proactive, providing a manual for everything we could need, even emergency vets. They messaged to say we could check in early and sent a text to wish us well, very thoughtful!

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

I've stayed in this cute cottage a few times and I love it. It has everything you need, with a very comfortable, welcoming and peaceful vibe, and surrounded by glorious countryside. So glad I've already booked again for next month!

We had a wonderful time at Tracy's in holmfirth, beautiful home, clean and comfortable with fabulous views, near great bars restaurants and amenities. Very friendly and helpful host. We had a lovely meal at Finleys and lovely walks with amazing views 5 🌟 stay

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The views are stunning, the cottage has everything you need and feels lovely and cosy. There are many beautiful walks from the house. We are already looking to bring our children back here for a stay in the summer.

Lovely cosy cottage. Spotlessly clean. Lovely comfy beds with lovely bed linen. Situated in a picturesque village with walks from the door step, with the added bonus of a friendly pub down the road. Great location for Chatsworth, and surrounding beauty spots. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, cozy cottage on the edge of Hope. Walks all around, and lovely views. Cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Private patio and the gardens were all well maintained. Very private but with lots to do nearby and a walk to pubs and restaurants. We would stay again.

Black Cat Cottage was as described. We had issues with Airbnb messages containing the information about how to get to the cottage. We also broke down and arrived to the cottage quite late. Despite all of the issues we had, Chris was waiting for us and help us get there. He is a very responsive host. The cottage was lovely and the area amazing. We did the Lud’s Church hike, which I totally recomend. We would love to repeat our stay.

We had a pleasant stay at Trespass Cottage. Great proximity to the Snake Path and other main trails; also a short walk to local village amenities. The cottage itself is comfortable and equipped with all the basic self-catering essentials. Our dogs were happy and settled and it was nice having things like dog towels and treats available for our use. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of wine and chocolates.

This is our 3rd time staying at Martin's cottage. The space was clean and well-maintained, and everything they needed was provided. Martin is very responsive and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The location is aso close to their worksites which makes it a plus point. Definitely recommend this place!

Small but perfectly formed. Ideal accommodation for our two night stay with our 2 small dogs. House comfortable and very well equipped. Andy was an excellent host. Would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to be back again ourselves.

Lovely cozy cottage everything as described. Excellent location for walking, you can walk from the door. Good local amenities.
