My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. Fossil Trace Ranch lives up to its name! The kids were able to find fossils everywhere on the property. Each morning we enjoyed our breakfast tea while watching the deer in the back yard. My sister and I came to the Ranch from Ohio to visit my daughter and her family. Each night her and her family came for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped we found the kitchen for this purpose. We were able to prepare large meals and all all sit and eat together. Although my daughter and kids didn't stay at the Ranch (the adults had to work and kids had school) it was really nice to have a lovely, comfortable and welcoming environment to entertain them. We would definitely come back to Fossil Trace Ranch!!!! Thanks again Dan!

Our family loved Honey Farms! From bird watching, fishing, and peaceful evening walks, this place was perfect. The house itself is so homey and has all the amenities you could want. It’s a short drive to town, but so peaceful and easy! 10/10 recommend and will be back!!! 💕

Very cozy home nestled in a lakes side community, there’s a boat ramp just within walking distance . The master bedroom has an impressive surprise of a huge tiled walk down in shower. As well as a door that goes straight to the screened in porch I found more than convenient. The parking is plentiful, my team had three vehicles and an enclosed trailer . No issues with space at all there was room for more . You could easily have three full truck and boat rigs parked here maybe 4 . Best part for me was the security on the property, it has cameras all around it which made me feel secure about being there and my possessions being safe outside . I use air bnb on a monthly basis and this is most definitely a property I will use again when in the area . The host is extremely helpful and friendly , I highly recommend if you’re in the area. Very communicative owner. Home was perfect for our need to have somewhere close to stay near relatives in Whitney TX. Highly recommend. Stay was during winter but we could imagine this being a fun summer location.

Lauren’s home could not be more perfect! Every amenity is superb. The view is incredible. You will have the most peaceful night’s sleep! This was our third stay…each better than the last…but it was the first time for us to travel with our new, nine month old grand daughter. She loved the stay more than any of us! Thank you, Lauren!!

The house is wonderful! The house is super clean, had everything you could need. The out door area is fantastic too! Lots of sitting areas a stunning view of the lake. Fairly easy to get down to the lake. The kids loved playing down by the water! We will definitely be back!

The house was clean and very well kept! Everything was labeled and easy to find. There were so many amenities we had plenty of room to spread out and all do things we enjoyed! The kids loved the tree house and playing in the backyard. We loved the hot tub, and coffee on the porch! We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the little cabin! We had a great time. Everything we needed was right there. The people were fantastic and Buck was outstanding. We will be absolutely looking forward to staying with him again

Our stay at Kim's place was terrific. Very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. We got to watch the deer coming up to feed by the front porch. Kim was flexible with check-in time, allowing us seniors time for our afternoon nap! The property was as described and very clean. Plenty of towels and dishes. Overall, a great stay for six retirees. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a true hidden gem we found! The hosts were very communicative, from booking, pre-arrival, to checkout. The cabin was very well appointed with many thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the quiet secluded countryside. Would recommend for anyone looking to escape the city for the country!

This was such a cozy and welcoming place to stay with a gorgeous view and plenty of privacy. The guard dogs were our favorite feature! The were instantly sweet and greeted us at the house with wagging tails! The sheep were also very friendly and greeted us the next morning. The house had everything we needed and we felt right at home.

This was a beautiful spot and was exactly as presented on Airbnb. Elle was a great host. The only thing that we didn’t have was firewood, and it was delivered within 30 minutes of me texting the host. Amazing! The house had all the amenities that it mentioned and our kids had a blast playing basketball playing pickle ball playing the games in the game barn. Adults had fun too. We will definitely return.

We found this the perfect little get-away place for a 4-day escape. It had everything we needed and more. It was peaceful and comfortable and the host (Nannette) responded quickly should we have any questions. Read her helpful instruction booklet on the coffee table when you first arrive, it will tell you everything you need to know about the place and the area. Then just relax and enjoy.
