Hosts proved themselves to be very responsive when an unexpected house issue arose immediately after check-in. Although a solution wasn’t feasible overnight, they got the problem fixed right away the next morning. After that hiccup, our stay was quite lovely. A beautiful location and even though we were there during a cold time of year, the view was still remarkable. The space was clean, quiet and well equipped with everything our group needed to be very comfortable. Would love to stay again during the warmer months!

We absolutely loved William and Kelly's cottage. It was so cozy, clean, and well appointed with everything you need to feel at home. Our family, including our dog, enjoyed the peace and quiet. And the big comfy chair was very popular due to how comfortable it is. We hope to be back next year.

My stay at 8 Bells by the Sea was peaceful, fun, and unique. It was a delight living mere feet from the water and feeling so connected to the tides. Robin was very helpful before and during the trip, providing me with recommendations and advice about the area. The apartment is located on a small street, filled with adorable beachy stores, restaurants, art galleries, jewelry shops, and more. The room is charmingly decorated in aquatic tones of blue and green, with thoughtful art and trinkets. There are many windows which look out onto a beautiful view of the water. The bathroom is large and was very clean. I appreciated and utilized the small refrigerator and freezer, as well as the silverware and glassware. My favorite part was mudlarking right outside the room on the beach when the tide was low. I found many pieces of ceramics, and enjoyed hanging out with the ducks and watching other birds. Highly recommend 8 Bells by the Sea for those who enjoy a cute small town by the water.

Simon’s place has everything you need and more. Fridge stocked with bottled water and sodas. Chocolates, oranges and bars for snacking. Bouquet of fresh flowers in the master bedroom. We felt very welcomed into this wonderful space. It is on the second floor of a 3 level house. Three apartments total in the building. Great to have off street parking. I highly recommend.

Had a great stay at this place (this was our second time there). Our plane to the area was much delayed but our hosts were understanding and very helpful. Everything was as advertised and the place was convenient to our activities visiting family. Will definitely stay there again!

Our stay at the Gloucester Beach House was great. It is a nice walk down to Good Harbor Beach, The Common Place Market and the neighborhood is peaceful. Its about a 10-minute drive to anywhere you want to go in Gloucester. Diane was responsive with any communication we had with her, and stayed in contact with us throughout the trip. We were grateful to be able to check in early after traveling all night to rest before beginning our trip adventures. For anyone interested, the Rhumb Line currently offers live music every night and its a variety of music. We went there several times and the musician's were top notch, and this is a place where the locals gather. We ended up visiting with friends and family and looking forward to another trip out to explore more of North Shore! Thank you so much for the wonderful home and stay.

We have had a lot of luck with AirBnB, but Valeri's place was the best so far. Literally across the street from beach access. A great restaurant next door with several others in easy walking distance. Minutes from Salem and Marblehead. The rental was fantastic. You could and picture it as being what you would want in a seaside vacation getaway or second home. Everything was clean, stocked, and organized. Beds were comfortable, and it was just a really all around relaxing environment. Loved the decor! Valeri was very nice and gave great local recommendations. I don't check to see if she's a "super" host, but she's number one for me. Loved our weekend getaway and would absolutely book again.

Myself and my family were privileged to share Jean's Happy Place for a week. The beach was gorgeous and so close. The house is so well stocked that you can just drive from the airport with only your clothes in your luggage. We were able to make most of our meals in the well stocked and roomy kitchen. The side porch was quite comfortable for the 5 of us to sit, chat, and eat. There is an outdoor shower which is also stocked with shampoo and soap. We did use the gas grill one night. Jean has made sure that there is plenty of gas as there were 2 additional propane tanks if we needed it. If you are looking for stress free time away, I highly recommend Jean's Happy Place!
