Had an absolutely wonderful time, and my friend and I loved the room that Jane and Alan provided. Somerville is a beautiful little town, and we would love to visit here again! The hosts were super kind and responsive, and the banana bread was delicious! I hope to stay again soon!

Wendy and Doug’s upstairs suite of rooms is roomy, very comfortable, quiet and super convenient to downtown Salem without being right in the middle of the crowds. We walked to downtown easily. Wendy was so helpful especially when we had a last mins dress alterations project, offering up her sewing machine so the work was done in time for the evening’s event. Overall a lovely stay.

We had a great stay at Woody’s place. He was a very responsive and helpful host. The area is fabulous - very close to the Orange Line stop and a short walk from great shops and restaurants. A note for families: the downstairs bedroom is well insulated, so if you have a kiddo upstairs, bring a monitor to hear!

This was such a fun stay! We came at peak tourist season (weekend before Halloween), but accessing the Airbnb was easy and Uber/Lyft had no problems locating us. Everything was clean, warm, and very cute! The beds were super comfortable - plenty of blankets and soft pillows! More than enough towels for your stay - and if you needed anything washed, there was detergent for the washer & dryer. We also really enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL views over the water. Absolutely stunning & so serene. Highly recommend and I hope to stay again the future!

Such a lovely home! Definitely enjoyed my stay here. Upon arrival, Jim and Donny greeted us and took our bags upstairs through the main house , and showed us where to retrieve the key to the guest house. They supplied slippers for inside use, and snacks. Everyday we ate the delicious blueberry muffins they'd leave for us in the morning. The location was great for the activities we had planned. They also left a packet of suggestions for restaurants, things to do and see. We were gone for most of our stay so it was refreshing to come in after a long day to relax and enjoy the space. The only downside was that it got quite cold at night. Overall this was such a great and peaceful place to stay!

This was a great stay for my family vacation. This 3 bedroom home was perfect for a larger family stay right in the middle of Malden, MA. The area was quiet during the evening and there were many restaurants within walking distance of the home. Only a few complaints: Upon entering the foyer there was an overwhelming smell of fish that had been attempted to be covered by lots of air freshener spray. Once you entered the home the smell went away so it caused no issue to the stay. Our most major complaint was the parking. The host was so gracious in allowing us to have our own parking space in the back of the home marked accordingly, however, if you are not good at backing in you may have some issues. The street is lined on both sides with many cars and it is very narrow to begin with. There are some very steep stairs to get into the home and to reach the 3rd floor so be careful if elderly are staying with you. Overall this was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely stay again!

Pleasant stay, quiet and private. Very responsive and let us check in a little early which was nice. Mostly clean although did find a dead bug on the bed soon after arriving. No other issues

Wow, what a beautiful spot! We stayed at David’s place over New Year’s and ended up canceling our plans to enjoy the views, comfortable couch, and cozy vibes a little longer. It was a quiet, luxurious, and relaxing stay, and we’d highly recommend this airbnb to others looking for a place to stay near Salem and Marblehead.

Bruce and Rohani were wonderful hosts. They left us a warm welcome note, snacks, water and clear directions about the local area, restaurants, etc. the house was lovely and spacious and the view was incredible. Make sure to get up early to watch the sunrise, you won’t regret it! Looking forward to our next visit!

This was a great spot for our quick weekend trip to Boston. Walkable to establishments, restaurants/bars, coffee shop and close to the public transportation although we didn’t use. The space was very clean and easy to check in. The hosts are responsive and friendly!

This Maynard stay is incredible, definitely one of the best Air BnB stays I have had. The host had thought of everything that one could possibly need. Stocked with all types of device chargers, breakfast and snack items that were great, hygiene products, nice adult beverages and more. We loved the awesome wood burning stove, and it made our stay so peaceful. The host was clear and concise when it came to check-in / check-out. The one bathroom could be tough, but its very doable. Awesome, clean, and friendly homey place! It was confusing when it came to what was compostable to those who aren’t used to it, but we made do!

Having never visited the USA before this was a place like l always see in the movies. Nestled in a quiet secluded cul-de-sac it was like being at home. Lovely welcoming aroma on entry. The bed was soooo comfortable with soft throws, lovely pillows and cushions. Kitchen was well equipped to cook and if you order take out plenty of cutlery. Also, plenty of towels and makeup flannels. Although, above a garage the noise of when it is used was noted but was not an issue as overall the stay was peaceful. Please note, there are no shops that are walking distance so a vehicle is needed. Cosy is the definition of this place an arriving on a snowy evening this setting was absolutely perfect and so romantic. Thank you for the hosting!

Stayed here with friends for a baby shower - location was convenient for us and this place had everything we needed!

I stayed at John & Linda’s Sea Mist Cottage for two nights (Feb 2–Feb 4, 2025), and I absolutely loved my time there. The décor and furniture created a calm, beach-like atmosphere that made me feel as though I was lying on golden sand, listening to gentle waves. Even though Rockport was my final stop before returning back, it quickly felt like home every time I came back from exploring, no matter how cold or tired I was. During my stay, I hiked Halibut Point State Park, sampled the local seafood, and took the commuter rail to discover more of the beautiful North Shore. I really appreciated the basket of brochures provided—it inspired me to explore Rockport to the fullest. John & Linda clearly put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome and at ease, and I’m very grateful for that. I found surprising tranquility and inner peace at Sea Mist Cottage, and I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place to anyone who loves nature.

Cheerful, Clean, and Comfortable Carriage house!!! We totally enjoyed our stay as we awaited the birth of our first granddaughter. The kitchen was well-equipped which made meal prep for the new mother easy! Sam was immediately responsive to any questions and we appreciate her kind attention!! Thank you and we can't wait to return!!

This is one of the nicest Airbnb apartments we have stayed in. It is perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child. The apartment is filled with sunshine and has a view across to the Prudential and you can even see a bit of ocean. It is breathtaking and unusual to have such a view in Newton. Kitchen was great, space for us to work and hang out. The bed is very comfortable. A great place to stay.
