This cabin was comfortable and cozy. It was a great winter getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay, Kelli went above and beyond to accommodate any and all needs. Upon arrival there was a beautiful basket FULL of snacks and goodies, and a fresh carton of eggs off the farm. They have awesome store below with home grown meat that they offered out of business hours. I can’t recommend this stay enough, serene views, the old barn with a modernized interior. We will be returning!

GPS took us right to Paul’s place and co-host met us there to let us in and answer questions. The home was spacious, clean, and kitchen has all the tools and dishes you could possibly use. There was an extra fridge for large groups, which we used. Laundry machines (dryer) were super helpful for drying suits/towels. We enjoyed watching movies each night from the selection provided. There is a walking trail, but we mostly drove to the beautiful community beach. We saw people coming and going but had it to ourselves every time we were there and enjoyed using the inflatable paddle boards we brought (stored them at that beach). One day we rented a pontoon boat (highly recommend Crown Jewel rentals) and used the community beach as home base in between tubing and sightseeing. Paul’s home is close to Lionhead state park where we spent time hiking and playing beach volleyball. We had a very fun and memorable family vacation.

Tammy was an awesome host and made us feel extremely welcome. Very organized and the home was perfect for our weekend trip. Would definitely go back!

Awesome stay in the North pan handle. Minimalistic stay but that was truly part of the charm. This place is the perfect place to unplug and unwind from the world. Peaceful, steps from Canada, full of wildlife, and exactly what you need.

This is our second stay at The Hideaway. It is a wonderful spot to relax, sleep well, take a great shower, and enjoy the beautiful forest from their deck. The house is super, super clean and both beds are terrific. The primary bedroom has a spacious bathroom and wonderful shower. The smaller bedroom and bathroom are plenty comfortable as well. Our family has a lakefront cabin nearby, so we did not use the living room or kitchen much, but both are nice and well organized. I highly recommend staying at The Hideaway!

Quiet, peaceful location only two miles from Hills! The house is updated and very comfortable. It says it sleeps 12, but that would be quite a tight fit in my opinion especially for multiple adults! We are looking forward to staying here again!

Location is beautiful and the accommodations were great! Would recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful retreat, I would love to return and stay again!

What a great cute cabin off the grid!! The location was great in proximity to trails and hiking. John was great about clear instructions especially because he knew he'd be unavailable the weekend I'd be there. There were a lot of instructions but it was so easy to follow that I had no issues what so ever. John did a great job setting up this cabin and the amenities. I'm sure it's even better in the summer but the coziness even when cold with the wood fire stove was great for just relaxing and reading. Although random, the bathroom decor was my favorite. To find out what I mean, you'll just have to book with him. I promise it's worth it!

We enjoyed Camp Daacke for Thanksgiving weekend. The house was gorgeous and so well stocked. Nicole was fantastic to work with and very easy to get in contact with. We will definitely book again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! Nestled in the mountains by the river, it provided the perfect mix of privacy, tranquility, and natural beauty. The cabin was spotless and cozy, making it easy to relax and unwind. We especially loved the hot tub, such a great bonus after a day of exploring the surrounding area. It was the ideal spot for quality family time, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this peaceful getaway for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge! Thank you Scott and Becki!

Joe’s place is a gem in the woods. We stayed in one the cabins with access to a private bathroom. The outdoor fire pit, grill and games was great. Highly recommend - we are looking forward to visiting again.

Overall stay was very comfortable. Neighborhood was very friendly and felt safe. Close to dock to launch boat and fish.

Such a great cabin to stay at. The beds were comfortable, had all the amenities we needed and Debbie was a great host. Within walking distance of the beach, peaceful and comfortable place to stay. I’d highly recommend staying here.
