Absolutely lovely stay in this cottage. Our whole family enjoyed the stay and felt at home from the minute we walked in the door. Christine was always responsive to queries and provided a wealth of information in the welcome pack before we arrived. This enabled us to plan fully and make the most of our time on the new forest.

A lovely last minute getaway to the New Forest. Cindy couldn’t have been more accommodating getting some essentials in at short nice (a thoughtful touch at any time) and making lots of great recommendations for the local area. Located a short drive from the main locations and with plenty of forest friends to be seen along the way. The place itself was just as described and so peaceful. It had enough space for our 9 yr old and 5 yr old to sleep across the landing from us comfortably and was surprisingly warm in the bedrooms. Main bed nice and comfy and space downstairs for the 4 of us to unwind after a day out roaming.

We had a beautiful stay here! The lodge was lovely and clean with a great view. The hot tub was a perfect addition and we had a great time relaxing here. It is also a great location for getting to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and other stunning places.

We had a fabulous stay with family here.The kids especially loved the hot tub and table tennis.The kitchen was really well equipped so it was easy to cook and serve for a group…the beds were comfortable.Theres a shop in walking distance and the house is 2 minutes from the edge of the forest….took us 6 minutes to reach Lyndhurst.Came home very relaxed!Thank you for having us!

The hosts were helpful from the moment we booked our stay. We were given clear instructions on where to arrive and were greeted as soon as we pulled into the carpark. They explained all the necessary information and answered all of our questions and were very helpful. They were always available if we had any queries and gave plenty of local recommendations for food and activities. We would 100% recommend and would be more than happy to book again.

We had such a fantastic time in Jocelyn and David’s Air B & B with our 11 month old twins. The place is very child friendly with cots, highchairs and plenty of toys which our twins loved to play with. Everything is very cosy and comfortable (with comfy sofas and beds) and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was also very clean. We also enjoyed having a glass of wine in the hot tub after we put our twins to bed. It is in a great location with plenty of great nearby pubs and walks. A big highlight was all the amazing gentle and friendly animals - horses, a donkey, and chickens to name a few which we and our twins enjoyed going to see every morning. We also thought Jocelyn and David were thoughtful hosts and very friendly. We would thoroughly recommend to families or couples. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Jocelyn and David!

We had a lovely stay, the place was very comfortable and we had all amenities needed. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

The bothy didn’t disappoint. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage had everything you needed with a wood burner and hot tub which we enjoyed using . Chrissy was a great host , checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay . I would recommend having breakfast at the potting shed and there also a lovely pub which is in walking distance. We had a lovely relaxing few days and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this beautiful place . We will be back !!!.

We had a lovely stay at Emma’s with our baby. The cottage had everything we needed and it was perfect for us being right in Lulworth Cove with beautiful walks on the doorstep. Thank you Emma!

Would highly recommend staying here. It was warm and welcoming and the bed was so comfortable! Complete privacy, peace and quiet (apart from the sheep and lambs, but they didn’t bother us) The homemade brownies on arrival were a lovely touch. We are going to return later in the year. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. A quirky little cottage and it was spotlessly clean. We can’t wait to stay here again on our wedding night in august. The pub opposite was amazing and so friendly. Will definitely book again.

Great little place as described, had everything you could want. Lovely cosy fire. Fabulous walks on the door step. Dog was welcome even some little treats. We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. Ian was responsive and always available, great communication. Definitely plan to return, loads more to explore.

Perfect comfortable one bedroom accommodation for us and our dog. Peaceful location, with a lovely walk along the river into Wareham for places to eat. Recommend The Horse and Groom, great food, dog friendly.

A really great house for our New Forest visit. Managed a couple of very enjoyable gravel bike rides along the coast and through the forest. This is a great base for exploring the forest.

I would highly recommend staying at Sandra's beautiful cottage. It is so well equipped, comfortable and cosy - a real home from home - and idea for long and short stays. Everything was immaculate and the bed and sofas were so comfy. And Cookie loved the dog bed and bowls that were provided. Sandra has provided lots of ideas for trips and places to eat locally. We will definitely return!

The stay was peaceful and awesome. The resort had a plethora of activities to offer and keep you entertained. The Woodland Cottage was the perfect blend of countryside luxury and a cozy home. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a well rounded experience through the countryside.

Absolutely loved our stay at Stride Cottage! Such a comfortable and cosy cottage with everything that you need for a home-from-home stay. Lovely position in Brook with two pubs a short stroll away and lots of lovely walks from the door step. It was great to be able to watch Netflix in the evening after a hearty meal. Slept like logs. Wouldn't hesitate to return and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks so much Karen.

Lucy is a brilliant host, very responsive and friendly too. The cottage is in a great location and it's easy to get to the local shops and restaurants. Parking is easy and the cottage has everything you need and more. It's a lovely place to stay.

This home from home was absolutely magical. We came to find some peace and quiet, with plenty of nice walks for the dogs and the option to eat out/have a takeaway/cook for ourselves depending on what we felt like on the day. The beaches and woods are stunningly beautiful and are right out the front and back doors of the house. The garden is private, very pretty and full of wildlife. The house itself is well designed, very homey and comfortable. The kitchen has modern appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and double fridge-freezer with ice and water dispenser, which is a nice touch. It's well kitted out with everything you need to cook your own meals there if you want to. The master bedroom is amazing, with stunning views from the balcony and the ensuite is huge with a massive walk-in shower. The downstairs is beautifully laid out and the wood burner makes the whole place very warm and cosy. We were there for 9 days and we'd have happily stayed longer if we could.

Fantastic small cottage perfect for the 3 of us ! location is perfect , not far from the coast but also hub for plenty of nice walks including to the Corfe Castle . The cottage is surrounded by a few ponds and a few farm animals for the delight of my son . Debbie was super welcoming and even gave us a little starter kit as we didn’t have time to buy a few basics. Would highly recommend the place !
