He was incredibly friendly, always ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. His response time was perfect, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his guests having a great stay. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we could have asked for. But honestly, what made this stay so special was Nigel himself—just an all-around great person who goes above and beyond. Highly recommend booking with him! Would absolutely stay again. I had a very enjoyable stay at Joule’s Airbnb! The home had stunning views, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you could think of. The wood-burning hot tub was an amazing experience—so relaxing and the perfect way to unwind and 'soak' in the peaceful surroundings. Despite an unexpected snowstorm causing a delay in snow removal, the hosts were very responsive and handled it well. Overall, it was a fantastic stay,

My friends and I had a fantastic stay! Danoosh responded to my multitude of questions quickly and in a friendly manner. The place itself was perfect, it was clean and well organized with everything you could ask for. We didn't really notice the traffic noise that much. only when we used the hot tub but once you put music on you barely notice it. 10/10, would recommend to anyone! we'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location that felt close to nature yet also walkable to amenities. The view at the table while you eat breakfast is very peaceful. There was an occupant of the lower unit with two young children running around, so be mindful that there will be some shared noises. The hot tub, view, ample space and location made this an peaceful retreat for my family without having to isolate them; you can walk a few minutes and still get a great cup of coffee.

What a beautiful, private and peaceful spot. Views are amazing. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything you want. The deck is amazing and spacious, perfect for relaxing on a warm summer day. Would definitely recommend this lovely place.

A perfect place for 5 adults and two little ones :) Large stocked kitchen, super comfy living room, lots of space, toys, games, and views. Chris & Jenn have created a rejuvenating retreat with a spa area we spoiled ourselves in. They were friendly and very welcoming hosts. We hope to return! Thank you, Chris & Jenn!

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Jon was flexible with our situation, we are locals to the street and had to do a restoration at our house. Worked with our budget and welcomed our dog! The house was perfect for our 2.5 month stay. Well stocked kitchen, cozy towels and ample space. Beds are a little hard for our liking but we made it work. Thanks again Jon! Would suggest to anyone needing long term and would be great for short term as well.

This charming carriage house was a wonderful stay! It was clean, well decorated and had everything we needed for a short getaway in Gibsons. The view was gorgeous and we were so fortunate to be able see a lovely sunset and rainbow during our two nights there. It is in a great location as well, a short walk to town where there are cute shops to browse and coffee/food options. The host Christi was responsive to our questions made sure we had all the details for a seamless check in/out. Thank you!

Me and my Girlfriend had the most wonderful peaceful time at Susan’s Cottage! The surrounding restaurants were great and lots to do! We both loved to walk and see the amazing Gorgeous shoreline! Also a hidden treasure that I wanted to see was the house they used from the movie Tron legacy which can be viewed during your walk along the shore. For anyone wondering Susan is a Lovely host and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel right at home! And if you were thinking about inviting your parents over there is plenty of parking and lovely space to sit down and converse! Also the backyard is lovely and peaceful to sit down and just relax thinking about life. Out of all the Airbnb I have stayed at I felt right at home and was well worth it! Can’t wait to come back and I hope if your reading this you will enjoy the peaceful time me and my girlfriend had there! Until next time Thankyou Susan!!!

Richard was a great host and the suite was very comfortable. I had to make a last minute booking to cover for night shift and Richard was responsive and helpful. The area is beautiful and the suite was clean, quiet and private. The bed was comfortable and there were blackout curtains to accommodate for my sleep schedule. The water pressure in the shower was terrific and the kitchenette was small but perfect for my needs. Overall, I had a great experience and would 100% recommend.

Choosing Christine’s house really “made” our vacation! Not only was it in a short driving distance to all the ski areas we wanted to visit, but the combination of the beautiful, serene location and the spacious and well-appointed accommodations were just what we hoped for. Christine‘s thoughtful help and advice throughout the entire trip made it. a vacation will never forget we hope to come visit again in the Summertime .

lovely place right on the water kayaks, canoe etc all readily available. we were there in October so too cold to swim. it would be amazing in warmer weather. Lots of local things to see market, hikes etc. you do have to drive

Our stay was wholesome! The place is a bit tricky to find, but Rachel provided a clear instruction of how to get there. Easy and flexible check in and beautifully organized and clean place with some games and puzzles and a squeaky toy which was great if you bring a pet with you. Rachel was also responsive and quite helpful with the tips around the bnb. The guide book she provided is also great for finding places to explore around in Nanaimo. 10/10! Would definitely recommend staying here. :)

We had a wonderful stay here—it was exactly as described! The cabin was spotless, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t get enough of it. Christina was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. When the internet went out due to a storm, she promptly sent additional games and magazines, which we really appreciated. She also provided a generous partial refund for the internet outage, which was very thoughtful. If we had to nitpick, the couch was a little lumpy and not the most comfortable to sit on. But honestly, that’s the only minor issue we encountered. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’d happily return!

My husband and I were beyond thrilled with this cozy little space! We loved how close it was to the bus line (transit in Vancouver was simple and safe), walking trails, and the shore. The space was absolutely perfect, and was wonderful to spend a 10 year wedding anniversary Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay in Rachel’s guest house! It was cozy and private and a lovely get away from the city. We were within a 15 min drive to the nearest town which was great. Would definitely recommend Rachel’s place

If your looking for a tranquil getaway this is the place. No TV, no loud noises, only the serene sounds of bird calls and peaceful ocean nearby. Leslie is a great host down to the detail of the strength of your preferred coffee so she can supply it. The cottage is surreal and super cozy. Super safe and completely feels as if in your a forest from the inside even though the road is not far away.

Beautiful peaceful place to say close to the beach and wonderful trails. The cottage was extraordinarily clean loved all of the local art throughout the cottage. Loved walking out every morning with a cup of coffee with a beautiful horses next-door. Strongly recommend if you’d like to get away from the hustle bustle of life..

We loved our stay at the Abode. Immersed in the forest, we felt hugged by the trees. The house was so tastefully decorated. We really loved sitting in the kitchen and just admiring all the thought and love put in to every single detail around. Hope to be back sometime! Thank you!

Family of 4 had a great stay. Kids were happy with the second bedroom. The private docks offer us easy access to the water for kayaking. We were amazed with every little details where perfectly turquoise colour matched down to the pot handles 😃 Highly recommended!🙂

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.
