Great spot in a quiet little town on the water

I almost don’t want to say how fantastic my stay was because going forward you are sure to be always booked! I absolutely LOVED Commonground! The building buzzed with positivity and happy people. The cafe and food downstairs were delicious. The music at night fun. Everyone seemed happy. The room was immaculate and thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen had everything I need and more. I loved that you had games, a pack and play, a high chair, extra comfy pillows and blankets. I liked. That there were two real plants in the kitchen (which I watered and pruned for you). I suppose the only things I would say is that I miss having cable, being a news person, and the overheard lights were a bit too bright. I highly recommend Commonground.

Perfect stay. Location was ideal. The apartment is large and comfortable. I was thrilled to stay in an Airbnb home that wasn't absolutely inundated in chemical fabric softeners and fragrances. This home was clean and did not have any chemical overwhelm. Excellent. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. This room was perfect for a few night stay, had basic kitchen amenities, Roku worked well, couch and lighting gave it cozy feel. Room was very clean, good use of small space. Great location. Communicative hosts. We would stay again.

Linda’s place was extremely clean, nice and cozy. Her place was just as described and she added all the amenities I needed for my stay. I liked that she was personable and paid attention to detail. I highly recommend.

Great spot close to great breweries and restaurants. Easy check in and parking. Loved the balcony in the evenings.

We were thrilled to find a last minute cancellation at this hidden gem for our labor day weekend trip! Kathy's directions were very thorough. The best part was that she included the use of all of her water toys in the rental - there were two stand-up paddle boards, numerous kayaks and a big rectangular floating pad that the kids loved. The biggest island in the center of Spider Lake is a very doable paddle from there. This property faces north on the lake which is the perfect vantage point to see the Aurora Borealis if the conditions are right, which they were for our time! This has been on my bucket list, so I am beyond thrilled! The stars are amazing too! We all felt comfortable inside and my husband said he had one of the best sleeps he's had in a long time. The kids loved the loft beds. We just wish that the spiders of Spider Lake weren't so abundant on the docks, so our arachnophobic girls could relax more, but there's not much that could have been done about them.

Our stay at Kathy’s place was perfect! The rental was spotless upon are arrival and Kathy was extremely flexible with check in and checkout. Her communication before and during our stay was outstanding and prompt. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during are stay. I would definitely recommend her place and happily rent from her again in the future.

We had a wonderful time! Kathleen was extremely helpful and quick at getting back with us. She had everything you needed to make you feel right at home. We had a great time on the pontoon and enjoying the great outdoor space here too. And pet friendly, our pups loved it!!

Our second cousin holiday season at this location and we love how comfy and sociable of a space it is, while still providing privacy and space to isolate when needed. Amazing hosts and always helpful!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Great place for 3 families. We had plenty of room for everyone. The one room with the bunks and queen is located in the garage but did have a nice heater to keep it warm during our stay. I would note The road leading to the house has a large hill that was very hard to get up with all the snow we got stuck a few times but the neighbors were helpful and showed us their is buckets of sand to throw down next to it. We definitely came on a snowy weekend! Kids had a great time sledding and tubing. Would definitely book again!

Debra was wonderful to accommodate our needs to be able to check in and get to our Elk viewing in a timely fashion. House was very clean. The area was beautiful with lots of fresh snow.

As a group of 8 we were worried about privacy and space. Once we arrived we were blown away at all the space, the amazing location and amenities. Kyle and Alena were beyond accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t have gotten through the weekend without them and or without the help of their friends and family. We felt like we had been coming to their place for years !! Any questions we had they answered right away and even gave us super helpful tips and advice for our stay ! We really appreciate you all, and cannot wait to return !! 16 out of 10 ;) If you are visiting rent the pontoon boat !! The area has so much to do and see and the price is a steal !

We loved this home. Perfect for our sibling wkend. The home was very accommodating. We had everything we needed. Plenty of Living space. Loved the kitchen. The deck & all the furniture plentiful. A Firepit, khakis if you want to be on the water. Plenty of bedrooms, linens & beach towels. You won’t be sorry with your stay. The location is perfect between Traverse City to Suttons Bay the other direction. I would recommend a new coffee pot for the kitchen. It takes a long time to brew.

Great place to stay downtown. Close to everything and well appointed. Jaime is a great host and we would definitely stay again.

place was surprisingly homie. very clean. well furnished. good layout. from the outside it looks unimpressive but was extremely pleased when we entered the residence. great value. enjoyed our stay

Super happy with our weekend stay. Perfect location to get to any Resturant, the beach and the shops! Hot tub was clean and warm! Mike was super responsive and made sure we had all information needed for our arrival and stay!

My wife and I stayed in the off-season for a Birthday weekend getaway. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. We were especially impressed with how stocked the amenities were. Definitely will stay again!

We are repeat guests to Lakeside Lookout and truly love the convenience of this location. Mary and Sid were so helpful when our travel plans changed by a day and their response time was immediate. We enjoyed everything winter has to offer up north this weekend!

We had a great stay at Shannon’s place for a nice winter getaway. Great location close to the ski hills and all the other winter activities in the area. Condo was clean and comfortable. Perfect escape to make lasting memories.

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend getaway here. The views were beautiful, the condo was clean, and bed was comfy. It was just a short drive to downtown. We especially loved the luxurious bathroom with the soaker tub and the living room with the big windows. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and was well stocked with the essentials. Would highly recommend!
