This is a small studio apartment - essentially one room with a full kitchen, a small living area, a bed, and a bathroom off the sleeping area - but it is clean, modern, and comfortable. Parking is directly outside, the area was quiet at this time of year, and it’s about a 10 minute walk to downtown.

We loved the accommodations, made good use of the hot tub, and really lived that we could walk everywhere we wanted to in Bellaire. Bee Well Cider & Mead and the Aiko food truck were the diamonds in the rough for our visit. You MUST go if you stay here. Shorts is awesome (as anticipated) and the Fireside Louge made killer cocktails and had a stellar selection of spirits.

Stephanie was a thoughtful host, easy to communicate and quick to respond. The apartment was equipped with everything you'd need and was so warm and cozy from the comfortable beds to the 'Franklin stove' gas heater. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The street was quiet and the grounds were lovely. It turned out that we had a personal connection to Stephanie and her husband which made our stay all the more amiable. I highly recommend staying at "Down the way from Duncan Bay'!

Vicki’s place was perfect for our stay at Shanty Creek. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable! The surroundings were quiet and very peaceful. Vicki was able to respond to our questions quickly. We highly recommend staying at Vicki’s place!

Beautiful and spacious place. Immaculate- wonderful beds and location. Communication was excellent. We cooked almost every evening- the kitchen is very well stocked. Space allows for time as a family and alone time. We loved it!!!!

We're so glad we stumbled across this place! Super affordable, awesome amenities, and the unit itself was nicely decorated and very modern and cozy. Great view of the night sky on a clear night, too. It's right across from Short's Brewing, and just a 40 minute drive to Boyne. Will definitely be back!

The studio was the perfect place for my wife and I. Cozy, clean, comfortable bed, all around just a great place to stay. Would def come back to stay!

The four of us had a wonderful stay at Laura’s condo. We enjoyed easy access to Cross Village, the Tunnel of Trees, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs. There are plenty of nearby options for outdoor adventures, or rainy day indoor fun. The condo resort has lovely walking trails, easy parking, and well-maintained clubhouse, pool/hot tub, and recreation/fitness facilities. Laura is an excellent host; she provided all the information we needed, and she responded very quickly when I sent a message. We would love to stay here again!

Very nice place, host communicated well, everything had specific instructions located next to it so there was no trouble figuring out how to use things. Was a little nervous having kids there with how nice it was decorated and all of the white furniture, but we had no issues. Very quiet, superbly comfortable beds, only road noise was the plow truck in the parking lot during and after the snow storm, but was appreciative that it was promptly cleared as our 2nd pickup doesn’t do so well in the deep snow

I stayed for a professional conference held at the Grand Traverse Resort. This was a perfect alternative and less pricey! Just minutes from Meijer to get items for the kitchenette, a quick drive to all the local food, shops, casino, and happenings of the area. Perfect for what I needed and more! Will definitely stay again!

Danny's place was cozy, clean and perfect for our stay. He was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay agian!

Awesome place to stay. We had a large group and it accommodated us very nicely. We were upgraded to the newly renovated cabin which was very nice. Dana and Donnie were very quick to respond to questions. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time and the location was perfect! Walkable to the ski slopes gave us the flexibility to come and go as we needed! Great space to hang out after a long day of skiing and full kitchen made meals easier! Had a wonderful time and would recommend!

Great location for skiing Schuss Mountain. The perfect place for my family of 6 (with 4 young adults). Chris was a great host providing us with additional suggestions for our stay and very responsive. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

We enjoyed a great stay at Taylor’s house. It was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. All beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We walked to the beach almost every day and hung out on the deck in the evenings. We appreciated the gating that was available for the deck to keep it safe for our 3 toddlers, and everyone enjoyed making s’mores around the fire ring. We found everything we needed in Sutton’s Bay and Traverse City, including an excellent Children’s Museum that came in handy one rainy day. All 9 of us agreed that Taylor’s would be a great place to come back to again!

This was the most well appointed rental we have stayed at. From detergent and extra paper towels and toilet paper to a fully loaded kitchen with coffee, a popcorn maker (and popcorn), aluminum foil and containers for leftovers -this place had it all. We thoroughly enjoyed reading on the front porch while listening to the sound of the water and had our own ping pong tournament while watching the Olympics. This was truly a home away from home. Elizabeth also provided some great recommendations for places to eat that we thoroughly enjoyed. We’d love to come back again!

Very spacious house, plenty of room for 3 families (12 people). The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of activities to do in the basement also and kept the kids plenty busy! Crystal was very responsive!

Clean, comfortable & contemporary spaces that accommodate family get-togethers well. A winter stay is close to skiing and the fireplace & hot tub are great for unwinding. A summer stay is across the street to lake & we would love to come back to experience the lake life here. All in all a beautiful property in an ideal northern Michigan location with a responsive & helpful host!

Chelsea was very welcoming and accommodating! We spent a few days at Shanty Creek for a conference and went skiing at Schuss Mountain. Great location for both activities! Highly recommend staying here- Chelsea was a wonderful host!

Stayed here for mid-winter break. My husband and I had three teenagers with us. Accommodations were great for the kids. They had some nice personal touches at the house. A little coffee station with hot cocoa etc and snacks. Plenty of kitchen accessories. Heated path to hot tub was great. We were close to Boyne where we went skiing. I would definitely stay here again.

Robert's place was great for us. Ended up being just 4 people, so it was way more space than we needed. Would have been comfortable with a much bigger group as well. We loved that it was equipped with all necessary kitchen and bath items and we absolutely loved that we were asked specifically NOT to strip beds, do laundry, fold towels, etc. We'll return.

I 100% recommend staying at Greg's place, the description does not do it justice, this place is super clean (probably one of the cleanest air bnbs we have stayed in and organized), very comfortable and peaceful, wish we didn't have to leave. It had everything plus more that we could have needed. the views were great especially in the morning sitting on the back porch swings drinking our coffee. Greg was super responsive and gave great recommendations and made you feel comfortable to ask any questions. if Your looking for a home away from home I definitely recommend staying here. all around a great place to stay. there is a grocery store that has anything you need 7 to 10 min away and some great little coffee shops as well and some restaurants. Hopefully in the future we will be able to return again!
