wir waren mit 6 Personen für 2 Wochen im Haus von Agnieszka. Das Haus war fabelhaft. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Vorfeld wurden wir mit Informationen über die Gegend und Veranstaltungen informiert. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit allem was man sich wünschen kann ausgestattet. Nur zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

This was an absolutely fantastic location and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hosts are very accessible and it’s very apparent that they take great pride in, and care of, their BnB. Lisa even reached out ahead of time and told me exactly what bus to take from the airport and what to tell my driver to get me dropped off almost right in front of their door! My room was so comfortable and welcoming and was a perfect base for exploring the entire Douglas area and southern part of the island. I will say there are lots of stairs, as one expects to find, so if mobility is an issue, you should definitely be aware of that. I will absolutely stay here again, if I ever get the chance to return.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Jocelyne and Kevin’s home. They made us feel very welcome and gave us some great ideas about places to visit. We enjoyed talking to them but equally they respected our privacy. The room had everything we needed with a good range of tea and coffee making facilities. The location was very convenient too being close to shops, on a bus route and wishing easy walking distance of facilities. Thanks for a lovely stay and wishing you both well.

The location is easy to get to, and awesome central location. Groceries one street behind, but store close at 5pm. The milk and unsweetened dry cereal provided, As well as coffee and tea helped until we could get to the store. Arrived Sunday evening. Very few taxis, taking the bus was easy!! It was the first stop once you reached the promenade. Also the location was great since we left by boat. It was not a difficult walk with all our luggage to the boat terminal (5 minutes maybe). The steam train was a very short walk away as well. Buying tickets for everything can be found at the tourist shop at the boat station. We had the friendly Front desk help do our laundry for a fee, we had a been traveling a few weeks so rather than spend time on laundry this was helpful for us! All was great and went very well. Loved the laid back island feel with cool sea air! Had delish indian food at Naadu 3 minute walk away if that. Would love to come back.

The yurts are clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. The hot tub is great. It really is a lovely spot, though maybe a little isolated for some. The local pub is good but doesn't always do food, so be prepared to cook in the yurt/barbecue or travel. It's camping more than glamping, so be aware of that. There is a communal kitchen but I didn't try it. It looks well equipped, but again, it's an eco-retreat. Don't expect a halogen hob and a microwave!
