We just wanted to thank David for the perfect winter escape at Kaye's Cottage! Communication was great and he let us know he was there if we needed anything during some windy weather. Despite Mother Nature flirting with us one day, we were able to take advantage of excellent conditions and skiing at Cape Smokey after a fresh snowfall! The location is ideal and close to everything. The cottage is well stocked and is even nicer in person! Highly recommended this cozy cottage! We hope to be back to enjoy it in the summer!!

Great stay for some mature ladies to just get away from life But not have to break the bank or travel too far. the spot was charming and comfortable

We stayed in late February as a home base for snowshoeing. Place was perfect for that. Close to the trails we wanted, but also easy to go into town for meals and supplies. House was extremely well equipped, with lots of little extras - snacks, pop, condiments, etc. Hosts were great. An excellent winter weekend visit to Cheticamp.

Es wahr einfach wunderbar! Sehr sauber und es wahr alles da was man braucht! Sogar Waschtabs für die Wäsche! Wir wahren zwei Wochen unterwegs und wollten uns eine gemütliche ruhige bleibe gönnen! Die Erwartungen haben sich übertroffen! Nick wahr immer erreichbar und hat und per Nachricht alles gut erklärt! Hat auch zwischendurch nachgefragt ob alles gut sei. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Immer wieder gern!

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton

Jennie and Guy were amazing hosts. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Their cozy home has ample space on the main level for indoor living if you ever needed a break day. The deck is large and private and probably my favourite part of the house. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which made cooking away from home an enjoyable experience. The home gets a great breeze from the ocean which kept things cool on the inside and left us with no bugs on the outside! Jennie and Guy provided some excellent tips for things to do in the area and we used the home as a jump off point to see many other fun things in Cape Breton. While not immediately on the ocean, you can still see it from the deck and they were happy to share their kayaks and paddle board with us. A very nice perk which you won't find in many places. The little island is picturesque with lots of beautiful scenery to explore. The local beach was sandy and warm and the two pubs we went to were quite nice as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it. The value for money was extremely fair and we had a great experience overall. Thanks for the memories!

Despite the house being so old it was clean and nice. It was decorated in chicken/bee theme, and included plenty of fun activities and amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor/outdoor games, BBQ, etc.). Ashley was very friendly and super easy to communicate with. Even the fresh farm eggs in the fridge felt like a nice bonus. If you are looking for a peaceful time outside of the city - it is definitely a great choice! Thank you Ashley!

We have been coming to Baddeck for many years, and this time we were fortunate to find Kristine’s place. Everything about the place was perfect—the stunning view, the immaculate house, and most of all Kristine’s wonderful family. They felt like my own by the end of our stay, and we will most definitely be coming back. Kristine thought of every little detail to make us feel at home, from the zillion channel TV to the coffee ready to be perked.

Karen was always responsive with any questions we may have, even messaged me before I had any questions! lol beautiful place and really quiet. we were really able to have some down time and actually relax! when I come back in the area, I will certainly book with Karen again!

It was a very good place to spend a night or two. we had a very good time with kids and family. There was an Indian restaurant Naan Stop which was an added advantage for us. It had a very good neighborhood and a board walk across the road.

Beautiful location (literally 3 minutes to the Cliffs golf course)! The loft was spotlessly clean and had every single amenity anyone might ever want while staying there. Bobby was extremely responsive and was flexible when we wanted to check in early to get ready for our evening golf round. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Cape Breton!

We booked Kathryn’s as a night out. Unfortunately my husband ended up on call all weekend and I ended up having to go into work myself for a few hours. Kathryn was accommodating to allow us to park his work vehicle in the driveway, and we were able to get in and out easily. The apartment was cozy, and comfortable. It was a great stay for us aside from both of us having to work, and it had everything we needed.

We wouldn’t change a thing! The house was adorable, spotless, has a beautiful view and Vee left muffins and fruit in the house waiting for us! Loved being able to use a washer and dryer, everything seemed new and comfy, not like “leftovers” being used to decorate a rental. Do not pass on this home!!!

Wunderschönes Wohlfühl-Appartment mit Kamin und Schaukelsessel, wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Die offensichtlich schon legendären Muffins waren köstlich, im Kühlschrank wartete eine Flasche Wein. Supernette Gastgeberin. Die Schlafzimmer sind zwar fensterlos, aber mit offener Tür kann man durchs Wohnzimmerfenster in den Garten schauen. Wir wären sehr gern noch länger geblieben. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für den Cabot-Trail!!!

Place was very modern and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the coast. Rick was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I give this place top marks.

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. Wish we had more time there to explore Cape Breton. Very easy to gaze out at the water and lose track of time.
