Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

My family of four really enjoyed staying at Todd's. There was plenty of space inside and nature surrounding the house, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to explore in Highlands as well as Cashiers.

Everything on our trip was perfect. The house, the location, the view—absolutely perfect. It's in a very convenient spot, with great restaurants and shops just minutes away. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels and hand towels available. The living room had ample seating for our entire group, as did the kitchen table and the porch, which made for some really relaxing mornings and evenings. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest and recharge after our days exploring. Parking was also a breeze—there was more than enough room for two cars, and you could easily fit a third if needed. What really stood out was the view. The photos just don’t do it justice. Stepping out onto the front porch each day felt like stepping into a postcard. It’s truly stunning. The host was fantastic—very responsive and informative from start to finish. We felt well taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend this home.

We had a wonderful weekend! Lizzy’s home was just as described. We enjoyed spending time on the screen porch which had an amazing view of the pond. We even caught a few fish! This is the perfect house to be both secluded in nature but close to town. Flat Rock was a short couple minuet drive away. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Flat Rock area.

Beautiful cabin by a beautiful river with some of the clearest water I’ve seen! This place had everything we wanted and needed to make our long weekend perfect. The beds are so comfy and we loved the homey touches like the cozy throw blankets and nice outdoor furniture. The kitchen is stocked well and is a great size for a larger group. The location is awesome, it’s private but not too far from shops and restaurants, PLUS a quick drive to the blue ridge parkway. We would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable, super clean, couldn’t ask for a better location. Walkable to everything in town. Quick response time from host. Highly recommend.

I'd like to thank Don and Renie for hosting us at their mountaintop house on top of Catamount Gap. The apartment was clean and wonderful in every way. The details and extras that they put into their apartment are most appreciated and all Airbnb hosts could learn several things from these hosts. My wife has already enjoyed our parting gift several times and is a special touch. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to book and stay at this listing. Our stay at "Tranquility in the Mountains", was very tranquil. It was quite dark when we arrived Saturday morning. The driveway and entry were well lit. We entered the code on the keyless entry and were in with no problem! The unit was very tastefully decorated, fresh, and clean with a well stocked kitchen, bathroom and super comfy bed! All of the amenities of home. Kelly and family live above the unit, so we would hear movement at times, but this was never intrusive or a bother at all! I highly recommend booking with Kelly, and would like to visit the Asheville area again. I wish we had more time to chill in the mountains and explore this interesting city. Thanks for your hospitality Kelly. The welcome basket was a nice touch!

Very nice accommodations in a wonderful setting. Tough to beat value! We were very satisfied, and would return in a heartbeat for our next visit to the Leicester area.

My husband & I stayed at Emilie’s place and found it to be comfortable, clean, and convenient for exploring Asheville. Communication with Emilie was great. From start to finish, our stay was wonderful! I definitely recommend.

Exquisite furnishings, comfort and quality of linens and bedding. A wall of windows looking out to gorgeous forest and sunset views. Walking distance to Grovepark Inn providing exercise, shopping and dining accommodations within steps of the woodland basement apartment.The fireplace in winter and outdoor patio in summer are lovely. Bear sightings are assured! Owners are nearby if needed but non intrusive. Quiet location. Best Airbnb in all our travels and definitely best place in Asheville. Appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, dishwaher, microwave and toaster oven for light cooking.

Our family loves our time on the farm! The apartment feels homey and private. It’s perfect for our family of four. Our kids love exploring the farm, finding all the swings, playing princes and princesses near the castle, and feeding the horses. This is a great place for a relaxing getaway for the family. Good location for enjoying nearby parks and trails while also having a relatively short drive to Greenville and Asheville. This was our family’s second trip to Melodie’s farm and we hope to be back again sometime. Melodie and her family are more than gracious hosts and provide a warm and welcoming environment.

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.

Veronica’s house was absolutely perfect for a large group get away. The views of the mountains from the house were gorgeous, the fire pit out back and the huge back deck was great for spending the evening at the house instead of even having to go out anywhere. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It’s also less than 15 min from downtown Asheville! Veronica is very responsive and even had me call her when I got there to give me instructions on everything in the house. I will be back!

Banffs place was the most beautiful Air Bnb i’ve ever stayed at. The view is amazing and everything was perfect. We would love to come again next year. Thank you
