The house was very comfortable and clean. A few cobwebs in deep corners, but all surfaces, high traffic spots, and linens were very clean. A couple of rugs could be on the list to be cleaned soon, looking a little spotty. The kitchen had the bare necessities, if you are planning to cook most of your meals like we did I would suggest bringing a good knife and large skillet. It was equipped with 2 smallish pots, 1 small baking dish, two small baking sheets, 1 small cast iron skillet, 3 very dull kitchen knives. The water is hard, so there was calcium build up in the coffee pot, I wish I would have brought my own or a French press. The seclusion of the property was wonderful, the views great, the beds were very firm but I slept great. Each bedroom is attached to a very large personal restroom which was nice. The host was very communicative and responded quickly to questions. Would definitely book again next time we’re in the area!

Perfect Airbnb vacation experience. Beautiful and spacious (guessing approx 2200 sq feet) home in the heart of downtown Alpine, TX. Great for walking around town, or as a base for daytrips to surrounding Ft Davis, Marfa, and Balmorhea. Linda was a wonderful host and responsive when we reached out to her. Fantastic guest manual with everything you'd ever need to know about the house. Our family has been coming to West Texas for many years and stayed in many Airbnbs--this is now our favorite and we plan to come back again soon. Highly, highly recommended! Thank you, Linda!

This is a beautiful home that is under represented by the photos! We actually opted to skip the park one of the days of our trip so we could spend more time enjoying the house and surrounding area. Communication was great, and Daryl was super helpful! Overall- the ideal Airbnb experience!!

Mary was so accommodating and responsive. Very clear instructions and no stone was left unturned. Such a peaceful retreat and convenient to everything in this unique little part of West Texas. A great getaway and relaxing.

The location was perfect for us to go to Big Bend National Park and Ft Davis Historical Military Park. It was large enough for the 4 of us to not be in each others way and still be able to visit with each other. The host was responsive with all of our questions. Would definitely stay at this site again.

Spacious house, comfortable beds and great porches to hang out on.

Great little house, with plenty of room for a family of five. The location was perfect for exploring several different places in the region. House was clean with a bunch of great art on the walls and communication was outstanding throughout the process. Thanks for having us…we’ll definitely look to stay there again down the road!

Staying at Tres Patas was an amazing experience! The house looks exactly like it did in the photos. We had the most beautiful views -- everywhere you looked it was so incredible. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The beds were SO comfortable. The water in the shower got hot quickly and there was good pressure. The living room furniture was so comfy as well. Had great wifi and cell reception -- but of course the whole idea was to get back to nature so we didn't do a lot of that! It really felt like we were at the top of the world. Stephanie and Bruce are so responsive -- I got answers from them via email (in the app) within minutes. We loved sitting out on the porches. You will not regret staying here -- it's worth the drive up the mountain!
