We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins. The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

A great find and imo £309 cheaper than similar properties I was looking at in the area Great communication, easy to find, parking was stress free (I’ve experienced the Whitby area that’s stressful) hot tub was fab and a very comfy night sleep Perfect location to explore the local area of Scarborough and Whitby

I ended up doing a solo trip with the dogs and I felt very safe and comfortable on my own. The cottage was clean and cosy. The large Porch is a great design to have an area for drying off coats / boots and with the hot tub. Love the field walks, it’s so nice to be able to have somewhere just a short walk from the accommodations where dogs can be let off lead. Very satisfied with this stay, would recommend to friends and family and I would definitely like to visit again one day. Thank you for a pleasant stay x

A lovely lodge in a beautiful and peaceful site. The lodge was well kept and comfortable - we felt right at home straight away. Only regret is not staying longer!

A wonderful stay at The South Wing for a family reunion. The house is brilliant, enormous and absolutely perfect. Hosts were great with good recommendations and excellent communication. Highly highly recommend.

Brilliant location, everything right on the door step, house decor to high standard, the house had every amenity you would ever need and more, the glass collection covered every type of drink! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay right in the centre

Clean, comfortable, well-equipped and quiet. All the things we look for in a property. The groceries left for us were very welcome.

An ideally-situated bolt-hole, close to the coast; spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Tracey’s communication was excellent and everything was exactly as shown and described. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to stay , Louise was welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. Nice location in the countryside and quiet.

The accommodation was spacious, clean, well appointed and easily coped with our family and the variety of ages. The outdoor area was well kept and had a large table and chairs suitable for outdoor eating and had the added attraction as a lovely suntrap. Having bathrooms on every floor was very convenient. A lovely house to use as a base when exploring the neighbouring seaside resorts and countryside.

The holiday apartment was really nice and extremely well equipped. The location is in the center of Filey and only a few minutes to the beach. Kay was a responsive host and also gave us extra flexibility on check in and check out times, which we were grateful for. We had an amazing week and only wished we could stay longer.

Such a lovely 2 night stay with such lovely hosts Jacquie and Roger. My dogs and I felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived. Firstly, the gift of lemon poppy cake with a coffee was a delight after our journey with the easy to use machine. The cottage was as I expected if not more. The information provided upon arrival is the best I have ever seen, and was so informative about where to go. The surroundings were stunning and with gorgeous weather. The dogs made plenty of use of the secure dog field, and the walks along the bridleway. We were so tired at the end of each day, and really slept well. We went off to Scarborough beach twice and it was about 20 mins by car. the beach at North Bay was stunning and quiet because it was mid week and not in the holiday season. I would highly recommend it. I enjoyed sitting in the field one evening to see the sky at night and that was amazing with the help of the app and thd sun rise in the morning. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Paul’s cabin. Beautifully furnished, it’s the perfect place for a countryside getaway! Wish we were staying for longer :) the WiFi isn’t the strongest which made researching the local area a little challenging. But Paul had kindly left out some brochures with a couple of local recommendations. Plus we ended up just winging it

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. Quiet, peaceful, off-street parking, lovely outdoor space. Emma was a brilliant host. The biscuits, crisps, milk and juice were a kind gesture. We loved our stay and hope to return soon.

The bungalow well exceeded our expectations, the holiday park is a lovely little complex. Amenities were great, there was nothing we felt was missing, the house has been fitted out to a very high standard. Beds comfortable and the rooms dark and very quiet at night. Filey is a 2 mile walk if you go via the beach. The section of beach near the site is lovely and sandy. Pool and steam room were very clean with long opening hours. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks so much - my parents really enjoyed the cottage - we were staying on a different cottage on The Bay and booked them this one. They said it was their favourite one so far (I think their 3rd visit to The Bay now). Loved the beach walks and a joy to be in Filey again.

This was our first experience with an air b&b and we were a little unsure as to what to expect. In a nutshell, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The cottage is utterly beautiful both inside and out, it couldn’t have been any cleaner and every time we realised we needed something, there it was - they’ve genuinely thought of everything! It’s so well equipped, from cutlery, to dvds, to toys… even down to little things like plasters! It’s honestly a home from home and the only negative we have is that we had to leave! The onsite pub is nice and where several have thought it expensive, we actually thought it was reasonably priced - especially when children eat for £1 with a paying adult main! Absolutely beautiful place and we will be recommending it to anyone who will listen! Thanks so much for the wonderful memories!

A Lovely Stay at Collie Cottage, Filey We had a wonderful couple of nights at Collie Cottage with our 18-month-old and couldn’t have asked for a better base for exploring Filey. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is great—peaceful yet just a short walk to the beach. Our toddler loved having space to toddle about safely, and the cottage had everything we needed, including a travel cot and high chair which made things so much easier. We particularly appreciated the welcome pack and the clear, helpful communication from the hosts. It’s obvious a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. We’d happily return and would definitely recommend Collie Cottage to anyone visiting Filey, especially young families.

Perfect for our needs, the downstairs bedroom was great for elderly Grandparents, really well equipped house and enjoyable break. We walked along the beach to Filey at low tide, recommend Ingham fish and chip shop. Communication from Victoria was excellent 👍

We had a very enjoyable short (post New Year) 3 night stay. The only problem being an issue with bedroom tv system. Amy tried to get this resolved promptly and it wasn't a real priority for us. Other than that, everything was fine. She always responded promptly to any queries and was able to allow some flexibility regarding check-in/departure times, which was appreciated.

We had a great stay at the cottage. All of the rooms are just like the photos. It was really clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is really well looked after. Just a short walk to the beach, then you can be in Filey in 40 minutes. It was really peaceful and the area offers a tennis court, swimming pool and other activities. Would definitely stay again.
