Was a lovely place and perfect for what we were looking for. Hosts were there when we needed. Such a lovely area also in easy walking distance to local bakery, restaurants and pubs.

Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

There aren't enough superlatives to describe The Granary. It's not just utterly beautiful, it's fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great walks around the grounds, loved the table tennis table and the pool/hot tub were a great way to chill. The sky was so clear, every night, we sat out star gazing, trully wonderful. Thanks to Jess for all the help and recommendations etc. And to Ben, for letting us back in when I locked us out 🫣 HIGHLY recommend.

Great house in a great location near the beach. Lovely garden and hot tub was an added bonus. Ella was a great host and very responsive.

Cottage really cosy with a beautiful garden. Very modern kitchen which was very well equipped. Bathrooms also modern and clean . Bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of storage. Hot tub was a super feature especially after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend at the Piggery celebrating our engagement! It was our first time using a wood-fired hot tub and we found it very refreshing. We'd definitely recommend walking to the Cider Tap and Bolney Wine Estate - both dog friendly! Some of the kitchen utensils could do with replacing, the tin opener didn't work well and most of the knives were quite blunt, but apart from that we had a lovely time!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and welcoming. We went out and about but enjoyed our time relaxing inside.

Clair’s little house was beautiful, situated in a sweet, quiet little cul de sac, literally around the corner from the beach. Clair has equipped the house with everything you need and the breakfast goodies were a nice touch. Even the tea towels were displayed with a flourish! As a host Clair was faultless. She was extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating. She organised our parking permit, heating and even wanted to offer help after we were due to check out! Thank you so much Clair for your hospitality and beautiful little cottage.

We loved the cottage.. We have stayed in number of places when we come down and visit but would definitely stay here again. It was very cute had the most wonderful shower and was in Steyning itself so no need to drive. Beautiful park close by, great pubs and lovely shops. Everything we needed was supplied

What a gorgeous cottage. we had the loveliest, most peaceful stay. Anya was so helpful and communicative and friendly. she even let out some of her doggie toys, bowls, bed and treats for our dog. we loved our stay and would definitely recommend! Thank you Anya x

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage from December 29th to January 1st, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The cottage was well-maintained, super cosy, and felt like a perfect little escape. Here are some of the highlights: Location The cottage is right on the edge of the South Downs, and waking up to those fantastic views every morning was such a treat. It’s also conveniently close to Newhaven for shopping, with reliable and frequent public transport options. We rented a car for part of our stay, and while parking near the cottage can be a bit tight for larger vehicles (as the listing clearly mentions), it wasn’t a major issue for us. One of the things we loved most was the tranquillity—you could hear nothing at night, which was such a refreshing change. If you’re visiting in winter, don’t forget your boots for those beautiful South Downs walks! Joy is an amzing host. Greeted us on arrival. Showed us around and left tasty scones with delicious jam. Met Ren whicho ur dog teddy liked to paly with. Found it quite theraputic watching the Bees and walking in the field outback. Visited local town of Lewes. Some great local pubs. Excellent quiet venue but close enough if you want a town or pub. Cottage was clean. Well equiped. Fire place was amazing didnt need it for heat as radiators great but liked to watch the fire at night. Would definitely recommend and will boom again

A lovely little retreat with a fantastic secure garden for our dog. The kitchen was very well equipped with supplies and the bathroom also had ample products. Very comfortable bed! The instructions were easy on how to find it. Jon greeted and did a tour with lots of information on the local area which was great. The shower was amazing! Small kitchen/dining/lounge area but very comfortable and suited us fine for our short stay.

Flint Barn is a well-appointed home with fantastic living space and in a gorgeous setting. As others have said, it is even nicer than the photos suggest. We had a wonderful time, with some lovely walks, a great evening at the (walkable) Jolly Sportsman and we felt very comfortable in the house.

Fabulous house, excellent communication. It can be noisy but nothing that the ear plugs kindly provided didn’t solve, would recommend!

Had an amazing and relaxing stay in Ginetta’s beautiful and quirky home, yards from the sea front and plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. Ginetta is a fabulous host and replied immediately to any query we had and I felt like nothing was too much trouble for her. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property and location. Thank you Ginetta ❤️

The property was absolutely lovely and cosy - perfect for a relaxing getaway. The surrounding area offered fantastic walks, and the nearby pub serves amazing roasts. The owner communicated really well and responded quickly. Highly recommend!

Very nice and well located apartment. The apartment is located right by the beach whilst also giving you a bit of privacy and not too much noise from the surrounding area. You have some shops and several cafes within a 10 min walk which is great to get your essentials and a good weekend breakfast during your morning stroll! The apartment was very clean and tidy. The sofa was different to the one pictured (not a bad thing just an observation) and was really comfy with the bedding and extra towels in the ottoman compartment. The bathroom was really nice with several products to use and the shower was lovely and hot with several setting to choose from whilst remaining simple to use. Overall a great stay and location!! Would definitely stay again!

We have just returned from a 5 night family break in Brighton/Hove and we had such a wonderful Stay at Liz’s house. The house was spotlessly clean and plenty of space for 10 of us including a few children. The hot tub and trampoline were a great addition to the house and kept the little ones entertained. The location was perfect for us as we love Hove and it was only a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants and also a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying here and we can’t wait to go back again soon! X

A fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. Great views over the sea and easy to walk into the town centre and cool, hip areas. The apartment has lots of natural light and was very comfortable. Everything is there that a visitor could need and Roy the owner was very quick to respond to questions - and also very helpful and understanding when we thought we had left a bag in the apartment (we hadn’t!). Would definitely stay again!
