Beautiful scenery lovely home loved the amenities only the water pressure was low it’s nice comfy and peaceful if u need to rest or have family or friends to chill with but overall it was a great sport 😃

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Feyza was an excellent host! Very helpful and responds really quick. I planed a surprise birthday for my bf and with her help, she decorated the house perfectly! The house was beautiful with very amazing views of the lake. Very quiet and peaceful and lots of restaurants near by.

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn was beautiful and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Breakfast was included and wonderful. This place is a gem and we will be back for sure.

My stay at the cottage was nothing short of beautiful and peaceful. Surrounded by nature, I felt completely disconnected from the chaos of everyday life, allowing me to truly unwind. The quiet mornings, fresh air, and cozy atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. The deep soaking tub was a wonderful touch—letting the warm water melt away all stress was exactly what I needed. I left feeling refreshed, reset, and ready to take on whatever comes next.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

My second time as a guest of Jasmine and definitely not the last! I had a great time and the house was adorable!

Lovely cottage, lovely hosts. Kid-friendly and super clean! Felt very private, yet when I ran out of milk they happily dropped off some cream for my morning coffee 🙏 Beautiful views and an extra treat was seeing the chickens in the morning. Perfect location for skiing.

The place was very clean and cozy and warm. We had such a lovely stay watching the snow fall outside. The kitchen was great for cooking. Saverio was so kind and helpful when our car got stuck in the snow. Would definitely come back!

This was my fifth stay in Jeanne's wonderful cottage! The cottage gets better and better each time I visit: a newly renovated bathroom, redecoration in lighter/brighter colors, etc. The home is extremely well stocked - every kitchen item you might need (including loads of glasses/plates/silverware, pots/pans, etc.), thick towels, extra blankets and throws, and lots of cleaning and paper products. There are plenty of cozy places to sit and relax, both indoors and out. The best thing of all is Jeanne herself, who is without a doubt the most generous host I've encountered on AirBnB. She is friendly, communicates proactively, and is quick to respond to any issues/questions. She truly opens her home to her guests, encouraging visitors to use the space fully and to make themselves at home. The cottage is an easy walk to the beach ane/or to town and is lovely, homey, and peaceful. I'll definitely return!

The Little Red Schoolhouse was perfect! Easy self check-in, spotless place, easy-to-follow instructions, easy parking in the driveway (well plowed in the snowy winter), easy checkout, responsive host, cozy space, comfy beds, good heat, multiple living room spaces, a well stocked kitchen, and a peaceful location. I'm staying here every time I visit northern Connecticut! A++++

April’s cozy beach cottage was perfect for my elderly parents. Everything was spotless, and although tiny, the kitchen was fully stocked with a large refrigerator and full stove, microwave etc. both the bed and the sofa were v comfortable and most importantly, April made sure there was AC in every room, even the cute porch. There’s an outdoor shower which is super convenient. You can easily walk to the beach, go to the arcade, kokomos, a crepes place and the carousel and gift shop. Very peaceful retreat. Must also mention how cheerfully it’s decorated and how spotlessly clean! Just lovely.

Our first ever stay at 'Hop Skip and Jump' really met all of our expectations and needs for the week of 8/10-8/17/24! I have never in my 70+ years of spending a summer week in Old Lyme been so enveloped with 5 star luxury while at the Beach! I would recommend this rental to any small family or a group of girlfriends! Hop

Such a special place. The house is beautiful, well furnished and stocked with everything you could need from kitchen items to toilet paper and water. It's obvious this is someone's special vacation home, but it's free of their personal items and there is no clutter to be found. The location is unbelievable with views from every window. The deck is particularly lovely overlooking the water just below and outfitted with an extremely comfortable couch and large dining table. The perfect place for a morning coffee. Sean was easy to communicate with and friendly. Cannot recommend enough!

Cheryl's place was adorable! I felt right at home in the cosy open concept living space. My mom crashed the weekend portion of the trip which was nice. My cat Mushu had a wonderful time and we even went outside. The beach was about a four minute walk for me, and a breathtaking view as you approach. Cheryl had everything necessary and mentioned. Next time I'll be sure to bring coffee filters and sugar. There were unexpected amenities too like paper towels and trash bags, and candles. There were also tons of spare toiletries like shaving cream and shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Thanks again!

I needed a quiet and clean space to stay near a retreat center that I was attending a program at. It was very close and even with the snow, easy to navigate. It was warm and comfortable even on the snowiest nights.

We had a great stay at Fran's place. They proactively reached out with suggestions for restaurants and other places to enjoy nearby. The house was clean and the surroundings were quiet. The beach was gorgeous to wake up to. The space is on the smaller side, so it's quite tight once you pull out the sleeper. If you don't mind that though, this place is really nice and I would recommend!
