There aren’t enough words for me to express my appreciation and gratitude towards David & his wife. From the moment I booked the home, David made sure to communicate with me thoroughly! If I ever needed anything, he was available! The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and so well kept! It is quite literally a slice of heaven! Out of all the places I have stayed through Airbnb I would easily say this was my best experience as far as places I’ve stayed and host I’ve dealt with! I will definitely be rentingfrom David and his wife again in the future! David, again thank you so much for everything! You gave me and my family and experience we will never forget.

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

I spent 3 nights on this property , the pricing was fair for the view and the amenities. Absolutely beautiful scenery, I hate that I didn’t get to get in the lake because of the weather , but so happy they had private hot tub on the property. The hot tub itself will leave you feeling stress free lol. The house was spotless and decor was beautiful very homie. I was suppose to have 5 guest but ended up just being 3 and feel like that’s the perfect amount of guest for this house. Love it , and highly recommend if you just wanna get away and enjoy some nature.

If you looking for a great place to stay where you can take in beautiful surroundings, then this place is it. It was very rustic and semi private. We loved this place and all it had to offer. The host were very helpful and very responsive. I would recommend 10/10 for staying here. Thank you guys for sharing your home with my daughter and I. We will be back!

This was easily one of my most favorite vacations of all time. The tranquility and the peace that Nancy is beautiful property provided will be a memory that I will always cherish with my kids. Outside of the property, we were fortunate enough to take a pottery lesson with her and my daughter mentioned several times to me how this was one of her favorites experiences with me. In addition, they were kind enough to share an opportunity to hike down to their private land in the gorge gorge for a peaceful and fun Saturday afternoon. What an adventure it was and well worth it. overall, we will definitely be looking at coming back and absolutely be sharing this magical place with friends and family.

I stayed here for three months as I was looking for a place to relocate and I absolutely loved my stay here! It is a beautiful location, where you can see the lake and so much access to many hiking trails. The Airbnb is adorable and both my dog and I felt right at home. David was an incredible host and was super proactive to seeing what I needed or ways to make my stay better. The day I came was a huge snow storm and I mentioned how my car doesn’t drive well in the snow and he came and completely cleared my parking spot. There was an also a time I had car troubles and he was able to give his trusty mechanic’s number. David went above and beyond in my stay there even offered to grab things while they were closer in town. Some things to be mindful of is the location is a on a busy road and cell service is not great in the area so if you are looking to unplug this is perfect! I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to all my family visiting!

Our entire experience was amazing. Darren was extremely helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful with a lot of things for the whole family. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Darren went above and beyond.

I loved staying here with my two kids. We enjoyed the natural park nearby and had fun playing in the large yard. I enjoyed waking up each morning with coffee on the front porch looking at the mountains. We took the advice from a map and did the sill branch hike to a waterfall! So beautiful!

Our family had the best time. This trip was one of, if not the best vacations we have ever had. That is in large part thanks to our hosts and their beautiful home! We enjoyed every minute, from booking to checkout. We would visit here again.

It's a really charming, comfortable, clean, and quiet place. It has the best kitchen equipment of any place I've stayed: a large set of dish- and glassware, pots and pans, plush towels, comfortable bed. The host communicated well and quickly. I would definitely return.

I loved every second of my stay at the Creekside Cottage. It was so cozy & homey. It was so easy to relax and feel right at home. Robert did an amazing job at maintaining the home and providing everything a guest could need. I will definitely be back and I strongly recommend this stay to everyone!

Location was great with plenty to do and beautiful surroundings!

It’s a great location. Not too far out of town. We loved reading on the screened in porch and listening to the water flowing in the creek. Hiking on the Appalachian trail up at Roan mountain was one reason we came here. The house had everything we needed. We brought food and cooked all our meals at the house.

We had an amazing time during our stay! The property was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space. The attention to detail was amazing. We made use of the guest house which was also very nice. The chef's kitchen was a wonderful add. Great location. Would definitely go again.

A lovely little getaway filled with magic and whimsy. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter, your mind will be blown by all of the decor and memorabilia throughout the house. There is a huge bathtub that looks right out over the creek.

This home was absolutely perfect! The home was exceptionally clean—one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. The kitchen and the entire home were gorgeous, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel so cozy and welcoming. The view of the open field with grazing cattle was breathtaking and added so much charm to the stay. It was incredibly peaceful and serene—an ideal getaway if you're looking to relax and unwind. I would absolutely stay here again!

THE best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was just so thoughtfully and intentionally done. Little touches of decor all throughout that made us feel not just at home, but enchanted with the house. Can’t wait to stay there again!

We enjoyed our cozy weekend in the mountains. My kids didn’t want to leave the house ever haha, the fireplace is so wonderful and made for lovely mornings with cartoons and coffee. Location is great, very close to downtown blowing rock and Boone. We went snow tubing and to the alpine coaster and had a blast!
