Nice safe place to stay…

Staying at Petra and Dick’s home has been a great pleasure. Their home is really a nice place to be at. They have a lovely bright sitting room overlooking their garden full of plants. Conversation around that table has been delightful. Both Petra and Dick were always ready to help. They even offered me a lift to the center on my last day there. I highly recommend it!

saubere Unterkunft und ein freundlicher Empfang auch der Hofhund kam uns schwanzwedelnd entgegen. Ein schmackhaftes englisches Frühstück krönte das Ganze. Als Unterkunft zur Erkundung der Gegend durchaus zu empfehlen. Im örtlichen inn sollte reserviert werden

Great room and bathroom with its own private corridor, beautifully presented! Right in the middle of town and Olivia gave really helpful recommendations and laid out a lovely light breakfast in the morning. Her dog Ted is an absolute darling too, he didn't make a noise when we let ourselves in late at night. Thanks!

Helen was very welcoming and friendly. House was clean and free from clutter. She cleared a shelf in the fridge for me. I was on a swimming training course nearby, so didn’t need to use the bath or shower, so can’t comment on that.

Third stay at 8 Owls and it reslly is a perfect place to stay centrally located. Very useful shared spaces like the kitchen and veranda. We had a couple questions and hosts were so responsive and extremey helpful to us. Vrry cute extra touches around the place. Very beautiful accomodation. 😍 would stay again in a heart beat 💓

We booked this Airbnb last minute for our staff during the Cheltenham Gold Cup and were pleasantly surprised to find somewhere so nice and affordable. The host was super responsive, kindly allowing us to check in 30 minutes early when we arrived ahead of schedule - we also bumped into the cleaners, who were super friendly and welcoming. The stay was smooth, and the accommodation met all our needs. We’ll definitely be booking again for next year’s Cheltenham Festival!

Michelle and Trevor’s place is truly a home from home! We were given the warmest of welcomes on arrival, complemented with tea, coffee and a chat. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room is spacious and the adjacent, modern bathroom has both a shower and a bath. It was like arriving at an oasis after our long drive. Their tasty breakfast ensures an excellent start for your next day. Michelle and Trevor are both very helpful and hospitable, and their home is warm and welcoming.

Sehr guter Gastgeber, sehr gute Unterkunft. Sauber, ruhig, Stadt und Bahnhof sind fussläufig erreichbar. Ein kleines Frühstück gibt es auch. Absolut zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder, Mark!

I stayed a whole week in Judith's beautiful home and felt so comfortable. Judith is a very friendly and welcoming host, and I felt completely relaxed (which I haven't always when staying in a host's house with them). I was busy every day and Judith's place was a calm retreat in the evening. The double bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and all the amenities were spotless. The house is in a quiet estate on the edge of town rather than central Glastonbury so there's a 10-15 minute walk in and out - for me this was ideal as it meant I could step out of the intensity and busyness of town, but I was grateful for my car a couple of times, as I had to dash back and forth quite a bit, carrying lots of things with me! Importantly, Judith's place is only a short walk to some of the most beautiful parts of the area - the Chalice Well Gardens, White Spring and the Tor. Had some great chats with Judith and loved gorgeous Milo the dog. Highly recommend for a quiet break!

Our stay here was far beyond our expectations. It was comfortable, clean and very welcoming. There was a kettle in the room with lots of hot drink options, clean towels, beautiful scents in the home and room too. The cosy lounge was my favourite place. Great energy, lots of books, games and oracle cards to use. I would definitely be staying here again on our next travels to Glastonbury.

We had a fantastic one night stay. Everything was as described. The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. John was so kind welcoming us. My only regret is not being able to stay longer! We had to check out very early in the morning and had to miss breakfast but John left us yogurt with fruit and muffins in the room which was perfect for our early departure.

Lovely house and wonderful big room, only stayed for one night as it was work trip but was super comfy, had everything I needed and beautiful interiors. Sandra and family made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Sue’s lovely place for a wedding nearby! She was so warm and welcoming. The beds were really comfy and the water pressure was great. She made us breakfast in the morning with yoghurt, fresh fruit and toast, and gave us a little tour around their home - the old chapel! Lovely stay and we’d definitely go back! Thank you xx

Zandra’s house was a perfect en route stop for us. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and a beautiful peaceful location. We are looking forward to returning.

I have stayed at Lyn's place on a good number of occasions now, and they are creating a very special environment, where their guests are treated more as family. The rooms are comfortable and warm. It is a shared bathroom but they make the effort to stagger it's use through communication between the guests. Breakfast is great, and the welcome is very friendly.

Ich habe das kleine ruhige helle Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten( alter Apfelbaum), Abbey Park und eigenem schönen kleinen Bad mit einer schönen Dusche geliebt! Ich habe lange nicht so erholsam geschlafen:) Claire ist eine liebevolle herzliche Gastgeberin in ihrem schönen hellen Haus und ich habe mich rundum zuhause gefühlt so dass ich liebend gerne wiederkomme !

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was so peaceful that as soon as I arrived I had a beautiful nap! Such gorgeous surrounding and our room was beautiful. Sally was so friendly and helpful :-) Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to rest your head. Wedmore is a such a quaint village which lovely little shops and so easy to get everywhere. It’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Glastonbury and Wells.

This 2 bedroom house was just perfect. Beautifully presented and clean. A great location with parking. A nice 0.9 mile walk into town. Clare was a great host and very helpful. We would love to rent this place again.

We decided to take a very last min trip away, as we have recently moved and are expecting baby number 2 in a week or so, so needed a breather. Martin was on hand for check-in. He was lovely and showed us our room, checked if we needed anything else, and told us a few places to eat. The room was lovely, well kept, spotless and perfect for our short stay. Coffee, tea and biccies were in hand, which are always welcome. The shower was brilliant, great pressure and lovely and hot. Breakfast too was lovely, piping hot and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin and he was chatty, friendly and welcoming. We would very much reccomed a stay here and thank our lovely host for accommodating us.

Stephen and Caz are warm and friendly hosts. Their home is welcoming and comfortable and a lovely place to stay. The room is private, quiet and spacious with a big and very comfy bed, and there’s a bright and clean private bathroom just next to the bedroom. A generous help-yourself breakfast, good conversation, and easily walkable to some lovely part of Bristol - the Downs, Clifton, the Gorge and Whiteladies Road. I had a very good time staying here and will stay again next time I am visiting Bristol.

We had a wonderful stay! Chris and Sumetha were exceptional hosts along with two little ones and Kai, a cute family —so friendly and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with all the little details taken care of. Chris was really an amazing guy. Can’t thank him enough for all his help and he did also dropped us back to station to go back home. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again in the future!
