We have just arrived home after Staying in fergals beautiful holiday home 21st/28th Dec The house was spotless clean and there was a Christmas tree and decorations all around, a huge bottle of prosecco and some gorgeous biscuits It's such a warm, comfortable house, very peaceful and in a lovely quiet little cul-de-sac, the neighbours were very friendly and helpful too. There is an amazing kitchen with every utensil you could ever think of, 2 beautiful bathrooms, we could not fault anything. If you have children ( we don't) it's perfect, a very safe secure garden and a room off the kitchen with lots and lots of toys and games, A shop that sells everything is a few minutes walk away. There isn't anything to do in the village, but everything is only 30 minutes or less drive away, and omg, there are some absolutely gorgeous places to visit, we looked through all the information left for guests, used our sat nav and was out all day every day We definitely would love to return!!!

Mayflower is the perfect place to stay for a family/ friends group.. great location, private but walking distance to amenities, comfy beds, great showers, really well equipped… hot tub, kayak and pool table were all used and much appreciated. Would highly recommend

Incredible place to spend Christmas time with the family (group of 10). Alex was an amazing host, always responsive and trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house itself had ample space for everyone and the games room was a highlight for the children. The river on the back garden and the view was serene. Also Pontypool offered all amenities we wanted, from supermarkets, parks, and pubs. All in all an outstanding option.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had great weather so we sat outside a lot enjoying the river views. We also enjoyed using the kayaks, they were great fun! Our host replied to messages quickly and she was really helpful. The lodge itself had plenty of space for all us and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend for a wholesome weekend!

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had a lovely stay here. Nice clean bathrooms, lovely fresh bedding and a great host who gave us lots of info. It was perfect for what we wanted - a couple of peaceful days and near to some lovely walks. TV works and sofa is comfy - once we realised it reclines! Thank you so much for having us we would defo stay again/ recommend to friends. Steph and Bryony :)

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

We had a lovely time! The house is well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. It has a great location in the Cotswolds, near beautiful towns and right by a lake with plenty of wildlife and tranquility. Highly recommended!

Joe and sue were amazing hosts throughout my stay. They were available during any questions I had and also very helpful during the storm in January. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants an escape to the country, can’t thank them enough. Will definitely be back !!

Hanna’s cottage is beautiful and cosy. Stunning views and idyllic location. Would highly recommend her cottage!

The location of this cottage is absolutely fantastic, and if you love getting on the lake it's perfect for paddling across to Coniston. the cottage itself was comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need and we felt right at home. Highly recommend this place.

We’ve been traveling Europe for 6 months, and this was our all-time favorite stay! We got to spend Christmas at the cottage, and Pat and Mary made us feel right at home. We were greeted with scones and fires and Christmas decorations, and both Pat and Mary went out of their way to look after us and provide wonderful, local recommendations. We enjoyed visiting them at their bookshop-cafe and getting to know them throughout our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy - comfortable beds and couches with two, large fireplaces - and the location itself was ideal. The kitchen is very well-supplied, and the showers were always warm. We could get into Galway city easily, or head deeper into Connemara to explore the Irish landscapes. Oughterard is a lovely town, and it had great restaurants and grocery shops and (of course) the bookshop-cafe! Highly recommend!

Great spot in the world to get away from it all, and just enjoy the scenery. Even a damp and chilly few days in November could not take away the warmth inside and the view outside. The walk down to the lake in the morning with the dog was the highlight.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. The description of the property is very accurate. The Property is very clean, warm and set in a wonderful peaceful location. Coms. with Nic were very frequent and informative offering details of the house, local pubs, restaurants, and walks. We cannot wait for our next visit .

I had a wonderful stay-the sunrises and beautiful views over the water were spectacular! And I very much enjoyed meeting and talking with Clodagh!

The Woodland Lodge was exactly what we were looking for on our first journey to the UK. Upon arrival we found the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Alison walked down to the lodge and introduced herself to us the first night we were there; it was an added touch to the wonderful hospitality and excellent communication we received while staying there. The lodge was cozy, lovely, and offered the perfect layout for spending peaceful evenings in the beautiful countryside. we would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Alison!

Stayed at Joan’s in Feb with 3 other family members. We had an 8.5 hour drive from our home to the cabin so self check-in which was also flexible worked perfectly for us. The property is located within a residential area. Even in the dark when we arrived, it was easy to find with parking right outside the front door. The drive is steep, but once you’re in the cabin, it is all on one level so would be okay for those who struggle with mobility. The cabin was full of personality and character which with the log fire,made it cosy. It was also clean, spacious and had enough beds to accommodate 7 people (although note there is one bathroom). The cabin had everything we needed and more to make it a fully self-catered holiday. Including towels and linen. We would recommend breakfast at Waterside Cafe. The cabin is also ideally located to visit the Isle of Skye. On top of the stunning views of the loch and the stars, the addition of the sauna was perfect. We will definitely be back!

There are no words to sum up the weekend which we have had to celebrate my mums 50th birthday. All of the touches made this the most beautiful luxurious home from home made perfect by Charlotte. We will definitely be back ♡

We had such a lovely time during our stay in this secret garden as Helen describes it! It's so unusual and peaceful 😌 Helen was so friendly and made us feel comfortable and at home! Would most definitely stay here again

The lodge was perfect for our family getaway during the February break. Our young girls espescially loved having the lake right on the doorstep with the ducks, geese and swans all coming round to say hello. The lodge itself was modern, spotless, well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The resort where the lodges is located had good facilities and friendly staff, the indoor pool and gym were both a good size and well equipped. We didn’t manage the water sports but can imagine this would be top of the list in warmer months. The hosts were very helpful, proactive and clear in their communication which made the whole stay from start to finish seamless. Their website and the lodge itself had lots of information about the local area too which we found useful, a particular highlight was a day to Windermere only about half hour drive away. Overall, would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here, could have stayed a lot longer. Corin was lovely on check in and gave us a tour/ instructions. The place is absolutely great for bringing a dog along with you, our GSD loved the completely enclosed garden, with no visibility out making it perfect if you have a reactive pup. Plenty to do locally. Would absolutely return again!

Great private cabin and lake, lovely surroundings and a very soft and cozy king size bed! The red lion pub about 17 mins drive away is also definitely worth a visit, great hospitality, food and drink!
