We really enjoyed staying at Patsy's chalet. The chalet park is very quiet and well maintained. The chalet itself had everything you would need and really appreciated the extra sitting area outside. Patsy left clear instructions and the chalet was easy to access with the parking directly next to the chalet. It was very handy having the beach in walking distance and also the convenience of a Tesco extra nearby. We would definitely recommend the chalet and it's very good value for money. A great place to stay- it's a beautifully renovated yet wonderfully original wagon, that's comfortable and well appointed for any retreat. We really enjoyed the garden space to be amongst the fruits and vegetables and Bertie the horse! Wish we could've stayed longer! Overall just the tranquility we wanted. Thanks to Julia for being great and accommodating host.

Quiet and peaceful place to stay, nestled in the garden of the old gamekeepers lodge on the edge of Holkam Park. Has everything you need, and lots of other nice touches, like milk, bread and muesli for breakfast, and some delicious apple juice. The barn felt very private despite being close to the main house. Would love to stay again soon!

Lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful, quiet location. The Shepherd’s hut is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

Wonderful little retreat in the heart of town. Lovely place with thoughtful touches. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

We loved our stay in the chalet. It was cozy and felt homely. It had everything we needed to be comfortable during our four day stay. We settled in very quickly. It is walkable distance from an amazing beach. We loved taking long strolls every day. It is well placed for several other attractions. The kids in particular loved Africa Alive and watching seals at Horsey Gap. Everything was as described and we would stay here again. Our host Karen was very thorough and sent detailed instructions up front. We hope to be back again in the near future.

We stayed here for 2 nights over this weekend and had a fantastic time. Everything was perfect, the location was amazingly peaceful and the cabin itself was extremely comfortable and cosy. Check in and out was very easy and there are some great things to do near by. Would recommend a stay here to get away from the hustle and bustle of life for a few days! We’ll definitely be back again one day

Lovely quirky little place to stay in a peaceful area. Perfect for a couple or family of 3. Hosts were really nice and friendly. The cats and chickens in the garden were lovely and a real novelty for my young son. So many interesting items relating to the music theme in the room and the big table football is a great addition. Everything we needed was in the room and everything was clean and tidy. There is only one sink in the bathroom but this is fine is you are only rinsing cups etc. Plenty of nearby places to eat out and visit. We woukd definitely recommend as an easy place to stay for a few nights.

We had a lovely stay. Really quiet environment and enclosed courtyard for our dogs. This was a good place for us to explore the Broads and some of the beaches nearby. Had dog bows, towels and treats for the dogs which was a lovely touch. Place was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Happi Hut - Sally and Gary were exceptional hosts and the place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway: peaceful, private and very very comfortable. We loved it.

What a lovely place, the perfect place to get away for a weekend and enjoy the calm. The place is right next to a farm with large fields around with beautiful views. The hut has a nice area outside where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine. It not far to get to the coast and enjoy seaside. Katie and Matt were very friendly, rapid in response and really easy to talk to.

This was the third time we stayed at Brushwood Nook and as before we felt right at home straight away. It’s a gorgeous gem of a place in the middle of a beautiful field in Norfolk but with all mod cons. A delightful little tardis that miraculously manages to comfortably fit all four of us. It’s become our annual winter mini-retreat to beat the January Blues with Norfolk blue skies and vitamin sea. Natasha and Sean are lovely hosts who are very attentive and yet considerate. PS: This time we also discovered Bread of Haven in Ridlington and pre-ordered two delicious freshly baked loaves of bread for Saturday morning - that was breakfast sorted for both days. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was perfect and very well designed. Lovely surroundings, was really nice having breakfast looking out to the meadow and seeing Iggy the horse, the goats and the chickens. Claire bought us a homemade loaf on arrival which was really nice. The log burner also gets really hot which was a good thing as my partner really feels the cold. Would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again next time I venture this way.

We wanted a quiet, relaxing and romantic countryside escape and that’s exactly what we got! The cabin was cosy and warm with the heaters. Outside the fairy lights are really cute and there was plenty of firewood. You can just about see other buildings but we felt lovely and secluded in our little area. Shower was good and hot, compost loo was well kept! Hannah was very friendly and responsive. Thanks so much for having us!

What a delight to stay at Little Acorn. Perfect for two to get away from it all, tranquil surroundings, perfect hosts, everything we needed and more. The cabin is well equipped, very clean and ideally situated. Ann and John are very friendly and accomodating hosts. Thank you, just what we needed to relax and recharge. We would love to return one day.

Our son bought us a lovely short break at the pavilion. The owners are really friendly and the accommodation is excellent: warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and well stocked. From the veranda, you can sit and watch the owners’ chickens roaming free in the meadow, along with a peacock and a goose that thinks it’s a chicken because it was hatched under one. They’re all tucked away at night, safe from the local foxes. The pavilion is behind the main house and the whole site is secure so no worries about leaving possessions in the pavilion or in your car. The electric gate is operated by a key fob to use during your stay. The pavilion has a small garden of its own with a secure hedge and fence so the door can be left open and your dog allowed to wander and do its business without wandering off. A bin for the poo bags is provided at the rear of the building. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the pavilion and it shows: definitely five stars.

Sat nav instructions incorrect but the description of where the property was is correct. A lovely warm welcome from Mossy and Colin. we enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and relaxing, which was what we needed. The Broads are easily accessed in every direction. A great location if like us you like nature and walking. There was work going on in the boatyard but this did not interfere with our enjoyment.

Me and my fiancé booked here very last minute for my birthday. The chalet itself was so beautiful and well kept, really cozy. In a lovely area with lots of scenery and restaurants nearby and only 10 minute drive to the centre of Great Yarmouth. Saul was so accommodating. We asked if he could get some banners, balloons, cake and Prosecco ready for when we arrived and it was all perfect and set up for us when we got there. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and would love to stay here again.

Our stay was fabulous. The Flint Shed is absolutely beautiful and it has every extra you could possibly need, including a dyson hairdryer and toiletries. We will certainly be booking to stay again. The peace and quiet was much needed and very appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at Alice’s eco lodge. It’s a beautifully rustic and peaceful spot—perfect if you're looking to get off the beaten track. The lodge was very clean and well looked after, with thoughtful touches throughout. We even spotted a Munchback grazing nearby and a cock pheasant strutting past, which added to the charm of the setting. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a quiet, nature-filled escape!
