beautiful and safe house all round near a very clean and private beach .will definitely be back .my family had an awesome time .

Lovely house with plenty of room for our group, including open lounge/dining/kitchen and outside deck with table and BBQ. Lots of large windows allowing light, sun and warmth to come into the house. Easy walk to CBD, cafes, bars and restaurants. Very relaxed and enjoyable stay.

We loved every part of our stay in Tina’s place. It gives you the right amount of peace and quiet to make you feel relaxed and recharged. The place was spotless and had all we needed. Very much worth the money and the drive.

The house is stunning, very comfy and well located. Every thing works perfectly, zero stress staying there. And there is a coffee shop/ restaurant right in the corner, which was also very handy to have it so close.

Great place to stay with everything in walking distance! The house had everything we needed and more - a few herbs and spices, olive oil etc. We will definitely return. Thanks Stuart.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

Michelle was extremely helpful and welcoming. I had a few questions before arriving and she answered promptly and with care. It was like a home away from home - a slice of paradise. Thanks for having us for a one night stay.

Our stay at the Fun House was truly memorable. I'd previously read all the reviews which were all positive . But I have to say the house exceeded my expectations. I'd already recommended it to people before I had actually seen it, now I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who will listen. It was located in a quiet street, close to everything, beds were comfortable, and the bath… OMG that was awesome, I am quite tall and don’t fit in many baths, but I fitted in this and enjoyed it twice whilst we were staying there. My only complaint was that my husband sometimes won at the pinballs, I did not foresee that happening, but I suppose that will happen. When we arrived, we got caught in an absolute downpour and we were literally soaked through, Tony very nicely allowed us to come early so we could get out of our wet clothes, which was very much appreciated, we were very wet and cold by this stage. Thanks so much again Tony.

Elizabeth was very easy to deal with. The property was close to amenities. A great spot to stay while visiting Hobart.

We had a wonderful stay at Dean and Moya’s place. Beautiful, high end, spacious apartment with a stunning view of the harbor. Sitting out on the sunny deck in the morning was a great start for the day. We loved the heated bathroom floor! They were very friendly with immediate responses to the one or two questions we had and suggestions for restaurants we might enjoy. We had a truly wonderful and relaxing time there.

We had a wonderful 4 days workation at Michael’s humble studio apartment. The neighbourhood was quiet. It’s nice how it’s got its own little front yard, gas stove, huge laundry and toilet with sliding door and a cosy comfy bed with all the amenities necessary. The heater kept the place in just right temperature. We had wonderful encounters with Michael who told us when it was time to take out rubbish for bin day. Always with great smile and amazing hospitality we could not have asked for better stay. I walked to Grand Chancellor Hotel each morning and the walk was so nice, lucky weather was lovely also. Overall a lovely experience. Thank you.

10/10Perfect Staying Petra&Wayne was the highlight of our stay—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful! The property was spotless, well-equipped, and had a lovely garden, plus stunning harbor views from upstairs. They provided excellent local tips and immediately arranged laundry when needed. Living upstairs, Wayne was attentive yet respectful of our privacy. Her personal farewell made us feel truly valued. More than just a stay, it was a heartwarming experience thanks to them exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended—we’d love to return!

This is a lovely little gem so close to the heart of town & pet friendly! Melanie was an amazing host with very clear instructions & great recommendations for nearby points of interest. I would highly recommend this place & would definitely stay again next time I am in town.

Lovely, cozy, clean, well equipped and presented accommodation. For us it was in the perfect location with quick and easy access to The Rivulet Walk which took us right into Hobart along a very picturesque walk where we were also able to see a platypus 😀 We were also about 5 minutes walk from The Cascade Brewery and Bar, with it's beautiful beer garden, delicious food and excellent beer and cider. We couldn't have wished for better accommodation and highly recommend. Thanks very much Russell 😁

Vi havde en dejlig overnatning i James’ hyggelige lejlighed. Vi havde spurgt om tidligere indtjekning, men det var desværre ikke muligt. Derfor var det en dejlig overraskelse, da James skrev til os om morgenen og fortalte at det alligevel godt kunne lade sig gøre. Hyggeligt med en lille hilsen og en flaske vin, da vi ankom til lejligheden. Meget praktisk med parkeringspladsen kun 10 m fra lejligheden. Stille og roligt område, og man kunne følge kysten til Hobart efter 15 min gang.

This was a return stay for us. We loved the unit for its amenities (especially toddler extras like portacot and high chair), easy access to the unit, great host communication and perfect location - step out into Salamanca :).

Our stay was exactly as we thought it would be - but better. The accommodation was fresh and clean and welcoming. The beds were the most comfortable we have very slept in! We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh fruit and breakfast supplies! The unit was so close to the amazing beach and local eateries yet we felt we were much further away as it was so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Brian’s place! The place had everything you could need, we especially enjoyed the multiple fruit trees around the property. The area was clean and tidy. The bed was a little creaky but was very warm during the cold taste nights. We would happily stay again as the location was awesome 😄

Great place for a weekend getaway. From booking to check in to check out Jacquie and the team were great and really responsive. The property was lovely and felt very homely. We also can’t recommend pigeon hole cafe round the corner highly enough, great coffee and some of the best food we ate on the whole trip!

Coralie and Costa are great hosts - the apartment was comfy and incredibly well stocked with food and goodies. They are very attuned to what visitors want (games and library too) and it was a pleasure to stay. Fabulous views too.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It was a fantastic location, walking distance to so much of Hobart’s CBD. We didn’t have any issues with noise from the hospital or helicopters landing and didn’t need the supplied earplugs. The kitchen had great amenities and we appreciated the Nespresso machine and the basics in the cupboard such as salt, oil, butter etc. The shower had excellent pressure and was fantastic. The king bed was also fantastic and extremely comfortable and the bedroom had very effective black out blinds. The check in process definitely would have been difficult if you were by yourself with a vehicle as there is limited parking nearby. However we had no issues and the parking space was great and very close to the apartment. We did find there was a lack of airflow through the apartment as there was no windows or screen doors. However after opening the large doors we did get a great breeze. Loved our stay here. It was everything we needed for a week in Hobart.
