Aretha and Joe make a big effort to engage with the guests to ensure they have everything they need (and more). Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They were flexible with our accommodation arrangements and added many personal touches to make my birthday weekend special.

Our stay was amazing, the location instructions were communicated perfectly, the house was very accessible and everything was ready for our stay. It was so tranquil waking up to a fresh peaceful morning with the farm animals and wildlife joining you for your morning coffee. This property is a perfect location for a family farm stay, or a quick weekend away from the city.

This was such a surprising wonderful place to stay. In the middle of rolling hills, with a distant view of Brisbane, and the sounds of birds all around, it was magical. It was fun to stay in. a tiny house, like a boat. The hosts were great!

Little piece of paraside away from the city. great view of the ponds with lots of birds, ducks, goats. Glenn was very hospitable and helpful. definitely recommend.

Our extended family loved staying in Matt’s home. We stayed four nights for my niece’s wedding at Gabbinbar. The home was so comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Lots of areas indoors and outdoors on the enormous verandah for entertaining plenty of guests. The table tennis was a hit and so was the sweet little terrier Poppy who visited us every day. We had a couple of gatherings there and enjoyed the wonderful Budgee Valley steak and sausages on the BBQ with the family. Matt was a super responsive host and excellent communicator. I would thoroughly recommend this home in Mount Rascal for a truly, comfortable stay for large groups or extended family. Thanks Matt !

This was a great house for myself and some friends traveling to the area. The property was beautiful—we especially loved the pool in the evenings and overlook for the sunrises. We enjoyed hearing/watching the kookaburras and seeing the geckos come out each night. Location was great for a visit to the Australia Zoo! Only disappointment was the broken dryer. As outdoor hikers, we really needed to do our laundry and it took a long time to air dry. Would def stay here again if we ever end up in the area!

This cute little house is serviceable with full amenities and a lovely deck to relax on out the back. It's no frills but the beds were comfy, the linen was fresh and clean and our host was very responsive and friendly. It covers all base needs and we had nothing to complain about at all. Really dog friendly with a secure yard and the removable gate for the deck was a handy addition! Close walk to the main street where there are shops and a market on the Saturday morning. The cemetery across the road makes for a really interesting afternoon stroll and the shops at the bottom of the street have some fun shopping. The air conditioners worked well on a very hot day and ample towels were provided. The bathroom is quite old and didn't feel as fresh as it could but still provided our basic needs and the water is steady and warm. An all round lovely stay, thankyou!

Villa Calabria is the perfect little home away from home. Has everything you need and very thoughtful, attentive and friendly hosts. It was clean and comfortable, Lou and Brian were very friendly and happy to have a chat, give recommendations etc. We had a lovely albeit short stay but will definitely book again.
