This feels like less of a "review" and more of our most sincere and incredibly heartfelt Thank You to Zoei and Bab. We came to Iceland for our secret elopement and booked our flights only after finding this Airbnb... we knew it was the perfect setting for our private ceremony, and there are truly no words to describe just how magical Zoei's Garden is. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the immense care and love and spiritual energy that they have poured into every corner of this home / property. The private hot spring lagoon was the most magical we experienced our entire time in Iceland. This home is by far the best kept secret on Airbnb, and hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Zoei was extremely communicative and helpful and so sweet and kind. It felt like we were staying at the home of a dear friend. We will never forget Zoei's Garden and cannot wait to come back. Wir, meine Mom und ich, haben fünf Nächte in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Wir haben uns gleich super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Bildern, super bequme betten, tolle Dusche, die Lage ist super ruhig und wir konnten an fast allen Abenden Polarlichter sehen :) Am schönsten war es einfach gemütlich auf den Sofas zu liegen und die unglaublich schöne Aussicht zu genießen! Von der Unterkunft haben wir entspannt die Insel Snearfellsness und noch einige weitere Orte erkundet. Wir hatten wirklich eine tolle Zeit :)

Set outside the township, this tranquil sryting is perfect for some R&R. Seclusion and privacy are in big supply. The home is just as the photos show. All the amenities you need for your stay. It's easy to just unwind and forget all the stress in your life here. This is ideal for low key actions, but still close enough to big adventure and local shopping.

Alfa and Finnur were very friendly and helpful, the best hosts!!! The house is lovely and cozy. Perfect for our family! The hot tub was the perfect temperature and so relaxing. I sincerely hope this place is available for our next visit!!!

Das Häuschen war super. Es ist super ruhig gelegen, man fühlt sich sehr abgelegen, obwohl ein paar Häuser drumherum sind und man in paar Fabriken drumherum hat (man sieht nur die Lichter, es ist nichts zu hören oder zu riechen). Wir konnten sogar in zwei Nächten Polarlichter sehen, das war unser absolutes Highlight. Der Ausblick auf den Fjord war auch jeden Tag wieder atemberaubend. Die Ausstattung war perfekt, es fehlte an nichts. Wir konnten sogar den Whirlpool benutzen. Wenn man sehr empfindlich bei Geräuschen ist, sollte man ggf. Oropax mitnehmen (der Wind kann sehr laut werden). Das Häuschen war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Roadtrips in den Süden, nach Reykjavik und in den Westen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We had a great time at the cabin! Actually, one of the highlights was our host Ylfa, who was always very helpful, provided a lot of very detailed information up front and reacted very quickly to all remaining questions we had - the communication was really a pleasure to us and on a level I have not experienced on Airbnb before. About the cabin: Our kids (3 and 6 years old) very much liked what they referred to as "the play cave", which is the upstairs sleeping loft. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary things needed, far exceeding what would be minimal kitchen setup. Another highlight to us was the hot tub, which we used almost every day (despite wind and a bit of rain outside). The open view towards the west is very suitable to search for Northern Lights in the dark or just watch the stars. We mainly used the cabin as our homebase to different day tours around in western Iceland. In total, we really had a great time!

Wat een mooi uitzicht vanuit het huis! Het huis was heerlijk ruim en het contact met Michelle was heel goed. Een prima plek om het zuidwesten van IJsland te verkennen.

We really enjoyed our stay, very cozy, clean and modern place with heated floors and we were lucky to see the aurora outside.
