The house and experience being there was incredible. Highlights included relaxing with the epic views in the hot tub, fishing and skiing in the local area, and the very short drive to anything we needed (Brown Dog Cafe, Liquor Between the Peaks, Safeway). The house was very well equipped to cook (we grilled/smoked all our meals happily and they even provided traeger chips). It was perfect to host and enjoy the friends and family that came from all over- everyone felt at home, comfortable, and had lots to do. The extra apartment was a really nice feature for those in our group that wanted more quiet time away from the high energy of the trip. Lots of very comfortable beds and pullout couches to accommodate the max people but the 16 spots is split between 3 rooms plus the apartment so lots of shared spaces. Our time there was made even better by our friends at Nomadic Roots Sauna out of Red Cliff. Their portable sauna along with cold plunges in the river had our group energized and fresh

Everything was as-advertised. My group especially appreciated the whole-home sound system.

Joey was a great host. He was extremely responsive during our stay. The cabin was amazing!! Huge space and the hot tub was a huge plus. Being able to use the garage was huge for us since there was tons of snow. We were a group of 12 and we were all comfortable and had plenty of space. Would definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a chilly Spring weekend with a dusting of snow so we snuggled up by the fire, read books and enjoyed cooking in the very well appointed kitchen. We look forward to coming back soon! Beautiful and comfortable home!

The home was immaculately clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, and perfectly located—just a short drive to downtown Breckenridge while still feeling like a private mountain retreat. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was seamless. Whether we were enjoying the place and space, relaxing in the hot tub, or exploring the beautiful nearby restaurants, every moment was memorable. This mountain home is spacious and stunning. We enjoyed dining together at the large dining table, hanging out in either living space and soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen had every possible tool you may need to prepare a group meal- we all agreed it was the best kitchen we’ve cooked in. Great location and accommodation for families- with ample accessories and extras for kids, from toys and puzzles, to children’s dishes. Jason was friendly and accommodating in every way. Location is convenient to downtown, the mountains, grocery store and sledding hill. Breck is a great destination and this home is perfect for groups. We had a great stay at this house and will be back again!

This is our third year staying at R Ranch and it was another amazing trip! We absolutely love staying here. Ruth is very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The house is fantastic! Awesome common space for a big group, plenty of room to spread out in bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with a huge fridge/freezer, and a fenced in back yard for the pups! On top of all of that, truly breathtaking views in every direction. We will definitely be back again!

My fiancé and I decided that we wanted to get eloped in Colorado. I searched all over to find the best views with a cozy place to stay and the bonus of a hot tub. The Grizzly Maze delivers in all ways. Shana and Jason were helpful and willing to drop pins for suggestions on cool locations for pictures and even offered to open their coffee shop up just to make us coffee. I highly suggest! 💖

This home hosted us and our 5 friends with no issues. We each were able to retire to our own rooms and have plenty of group time comfortably in all the shared spaces. Also, the yard is very dog friendly and provided a great space for the dogs to run around. The owners were very communicative before our booking to help with booking changes and sent messages to make themselves available during the stay as well. Overall, we had a great time and I recommend this location for a stay in Buena Vista.

What a gem this place is! The home itself is exquisite - beautiful decor, wonderful layout, and every room having a really nice king bed with nice linens was such a plus. The location is awesome, being just a couple blocks from downtown, a 10 minute walk to the river and disc golf course basically in the backyard. Breathtaking views from each deck as well. We loved that we were able to bring our pups and have a backyard space for them, and were able to take them out easily for walks/dips in the river. It was such a beautiful place to stay, looking forward to coming back here again!

Hermoso lugar con una excelente ubicación, cerca de la ciudad y del lift. Ideal para familias y grupos de parejas. Es una cabaña muy bien conservada con todas las comodidades. Me hubiera gustado más flexibilidad en el horario del check in y el check out pero todo excelente, incluyendo gran comunicación. Tuvimos un pequeño problema porque una habitación no se calentó sino hasta el segundo día pero aparte de eso la estancia fue maravillosa y seguro nos volveríamos a hospedar aquí. Los anfitriones siempre estuvieron pendientes de nosotros y nuestras preguntas.

Mindy’s place was great! We stayed with three couples, and the layout was nicely situated for that.

My family and I stayed during the week of Christmas and we really enjoyed their place. We had access to the Hot Springs in the resort down the street, which was very relaxing. The location was quiet and peaceful and I would definitely recommend staying there.

Fabulous place! Our party of 10 was very comfortable. Jennifer was a responsive and helpful host! The big round chair in front of the window in the living room is a fabulous spot to watch the skiers come down the hill. This window and view was my favorite thing about the house! True ski in ski out house!!

Jesse was an amazing host. Super responsive and helpful and kind. Awesome place, great for a big family. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Little pricey but otherwise fantastic.

Our stay at John's home was fantastic. Our family enjoyed all of the amenities--the hot tub, sled hill, games, etc. Everyone agreed that the space was lovely, open, spacious, and perfect for future family events. We want to visit in the summer to get another perspective on the property. One catch is that when we made the initial reservation, I didn't get a reply to two of my questions. But this is a small hiccup and was easily overlooked. So happy with our visit--this home is worth a visit (or more!).

This place was a marvel to stay at! Very spacious and accommodating of my large party of 11x people overnight. Great location with views and walkable to Main Street. This reservation is a part of the Beaver Run resort so the shuttle and other amenities are included with your stay. $14/day for parking per vehicle was never mentioned anywhere but all-in-all a wonderful vacation for us this past weekend
