We stayed for one week in this lovely casita. It is on the main (sand) road to Cerritos beach where there are great fish tacos, big waves, and folks who you can buy margaritas or massages from. The casita was big enough to comfortably fit our group of 4 adults. We appreciated the kitchen which was stocked for cooking as well as the 2 full bathrooms. The hot tub and pool at the complex were great, never too busy, and the other people that reside there were very nice. We had a great stay and we would highly recommend this for a relaxing stay!

We had a great stay at Don and Carla's. Everything you need was fairly close by and we always had a fun drive to and from.

What a gorgeous home!! Perfectly adorned. Expertly designed. Beautifully maintained. we felt so blessed to be there, in every way. The location, the pool, the place- just wonderful. Raw. Rugged. Real. Thank you again Michelle and John and team!

Stayed for two weeks and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect, about a 10 min walk down the road to an uncrowded beach. The property consists of three houses/casitas and a small RV park. The grounds are well maintained and fully fenced, perfect for our dog. Shared community spaces including pool, hot tub, courtyard, grill, and rooftop deck. Very dog friendly community. The host was welcoming and responsive, and his grounds staff and on-site property manager are some of the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve met. Would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Lucero. Everything was as described and pictured. The pool was a nice amenity as the ocean closest to us is not the most swimmable. In walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.

"Middle Casa" is a gem! My multi-generational family had a great time staying their for 6 nights! The house is so pleasant, it is a treat to just stay put for 48 hours without even visiting the beaches. Two dining spaces were both lovely. The rooftop kitchen was a very special spot for everyone to stretch, star gaze, drink coffee and retreat when desired. We loved the sleeping spaces for grandparents and our family. The home comfortably fit 5 people. Los Barriles is amazing - lots of retired ex-pats on ATVS (which we were humored by) and very kind locals. I had a great time on the beaches. The only thing I had difficulty finding was good food. Our favorite spot was Tacos Viejos and the fish/shrimp tacos everywhere were delicious. Everything else seemed kind of average. Priscilla (the manager) was a superb communicator. We never actually spoke with Matt. I'd happily go back and do it all again!

Fantastic location, beautiful furnishings, very well maintained and exactly what we were looking for. Amy made our stay easy and efficient with excellent communication and honest descriptions and recommendations. We wanted to buy the place we loved it so much. Highly recommend. Only downside was all the surrounding buildings going up and the associated construction noise. We will definitely be back:)

Wow, what an amazing stay at Courtney’s home near Los Barriles. The house is a bit north of town on a hillside above the Sea of Cortez with gorgeous views - sunrise every morning from the master bedroom and living room! In the morning the front rooms - master bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, are bright and sunny. I loved sitting at the peninsula every morning to eat breakfast, drink coffee, and plan the day. Courtney offered great suggestions about what to do nearby, where to eat, and general guidance on getting around in Los Barriles. Her suggestion to rent a side by side from Quadman was fantastic! We took it up the coast to beautiful beaches at Punta Pescadero, as well as deep into the arroyo to find a waterfall. A day trip to Sol de Mayo/Cañon de la Zorra for hiking to a swimming hole at the base of the waterfall, and another day trip to the beautiful and empty beach at La Ribera are must do items, as well!

This villa was great! Super clean, comfortable, and a place we looked forward to hanging out at when not doing other activities in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Casa Alas. It is well designed and furnished and perfect for 2 couples!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful home. And the management was very kind and responsive. Everything was new and very well equipped for the kitchen, or for the beach. It is right in the heart of town, so you can easily walk to the beach or restaurants. We would stay here again.

My family and I had a really wonderful 8 days at the condo. We loved how close it was to the beach. It was nice to have the provided boogie boards and beach toys that was definitely a bonus for the kids. The pool was nice and close and very clean. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold and I didn’t realize that it wasn’t a heated pool, but if the days got warm enough, then it didn’t seem to matter. Nicte met us when we arrived, which was a really nice touch as we were able to ask her a few questions and she showed us around. She was very helpful with anything that we needed during our stay. The condo had everything we needed for cooking. I would suggest bringing a few spices, Ziploc‘s etc as we had to buy salt and pepper etc. It was very minimally stocked when it came to cooking necessities The TV didn’t work while we were there, but the host mentioned she would buy a new remote for the TV. All in all we would stay again

You will not find a better place to stay at in Cerritos. We stayed at Casa Lomita with our family of 4 for a month. Every detail of the house is incredibly well thought out. The pool is great for cooling off in the daytime. The hot tub is the perfect place to watch the stars. The kitchen is well equipped. It’s situated a short drive from several different beaches in the area. The location of the house allows for maximum privacy. I would recommend Casa Lomita to anyone who is looking for a peaceful quiet and beautiful location!

Gorgeous, comfortable, well appointed place to spend six days. Great kitchen. Comfy beds. Wonderful porch for siestas. Everything worked beautifully, and we loved the dark and quiet at night. Kids adored the pool - solar heated salt water, what’s not to love! Friendly neighbours, fun times at the community pickleball and bocce courts. Silvia was incredibly responsive to any communications, and generous with the use of their gear (kids wetsuits). We really appreciated the household use of a composter and biodegradable soaps. East cape road was beautiful and slow. Beach is a bit further walk than other reviewers said - 10 min to dunes but further to the water - but well worth it. Fantastic swimming and wave play too. Easy travel to Los Arbolitos, Cabo Pulmo, fresh fish at Los Frailes, and fun hiking. Looking forward to returning!

Location, location, location! Loved the secluded feel yet close to the kite beach and many amenities. Comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Would come back for sure!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The house was spotless and had everything we needed to feel at home. The gardens were absolutely breathtaking, and the refreshing pool was the perfect way to cool off from the Mexican sun. The master bathroom was huge and luxurious, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals at home. Our host Kim was simply wonderful. She was incredibly kind and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience in the area. She provided us with lots of helpful information about things to do and see, and we felt so lucky to have her as our host. Overall, we had a fantastic time at this Airbnb and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Thank you, Kim, for being such an amazing host and providing us with such a lovely home away from home!

What a truly incredible place! This house was absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, so private it felt like it's own little world, yet was a 5 minute walk from the little town. Diane was super helpful with great recommendations for scuba diving and restaurants, as well as hiking and beaches. The house was fully equipped with everything we would need- from linens and kitchen appliances to beach chairs and snorkels. The house feels both cozy and spacious at the same time, and while there was only 2 of us it would be easy for 2-3 couples to have plenty of privacy. The decks and patios were spacious and had plenty of seating options, and there is nothing better than an outdoor shower after a long beach day. My wife and I are both in the advertising industry, and just wanted to spend the day photographing the house as the light streamed thru the windows. It looked like a house that would be featured in a travel magazine, bright and colorful. Highest recommedation

We absolutely loved this house. It's very private & quiet. Absolutely beautiful roof top patio. We loved watching the sea-life and sunrise. The house super well stocked for every need. They were immediately responsive to any questions we had & we really appreciated that. Just an all over gorgeous home & experience.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Per's house. I actually giggled doing the review of "did it live up to the description" because prior to our stay I chatted with Per and he totally downplayed how warm and comfortable their house is. You can really tell it's a loved family beach house. It isn't the ritzy/Instragramable/modern style that a lot of other houses in the area appear to be, it's more classic Mexican beach style. The home is comfortable - the beds were all super comfortable and all have their own bathroom. The layout is a little quirky but not in a bad way. All the amenities are there and easy to use. Hot water and water pressure were great. The beach is insanely beautiful - we walked, jogged, played, fished, whale watched - and it's easy to pop over to Cerritos either on foot (about 30 min beautiful walk/hike) or 5 min by car. We would absolutely rent this house again!

We had a fabulous stay!! Everything was absolutely excellent! We have 4 children (17,15,13 and 7) and we had plenty of space, the pool/hot tub are amazing, our older children could walk to the beach and start surfing in less than 7 minutes! Rachel and Alex are super responsive and they have the best guide book they made at the house! It will answer every single question you have and questions you didn’t even know you had ! Ha! I would definitely recommend staying at Rachel and Alex’s place… we will most definitely be back!!!

Casa Piedra is a paradise. If you are looking for beautiful surroundings, the sounds of the pacific and songs of many types of birds to accompany your morning coffee or while watching the sunset, I would recommend this house. Johnny and his team have all you need here and are highly responsive to any questions you may have. This is definitely a 5 star stay!

What a lovely week! Julie’s home is comfortable and has everything you need. Julie was responsive and so very helpful! The community is friendly and the beach is beautiful! We enjoyed ourselves very much!
