I stayed here for 2 nights & would honestly say this is my most favourite stay in bali so far. The home was even better in person. If you want privacy & nature views this is the spot. Bayu’s communication was exceptional, he was super organised and extremely helpful. Breakfast was a nice addition. Bayu organised our driver, Itam (shout out to itam) was 1000/10 service from him, he was helpful and went above & beyond to accommodate our travels. Would definitely return here if staying in ubud. I Had the best time here and was exactly what me & my partner needed. Thank you Bayu for our amazing stay & house keeping staff were amazing also. Cannot praise your team enough!

Arthavana house definitely has an Ubud vibes that we are looking for. The place has a very beautiful view. The place really match with the picture and description. The place is very clean. Komang has been very responsive and helpful to help bring our baggage. The breakfast is veryyy gooddd. You can find lots of plants, from orange to avocado. We also find it very easy to get to arthavana. Overall the experience im arthavana is very great.

Cito was super helpful with any requests we had and very friendly! The place is beautiful just a bit out of the busy center and in the middle of rice fields! Just what we were looking for!

It is a great place to stay, if u want to stay away from the usual city vibe - out in the nature and away from the crowd. We really love the nature. Points to take note 1. As it is out in the nature, it is open to many nature creatures, there will be lizards and frogs symphony to accompany your night. 2. Renting a bike is a must, as go jek/ grab drivers do not pick you from the villa. 3. 20-30mins ride to the central Ubud area for cafes/ restaurants and pilates studio. 3. If you are moving from one area to another, or to airport, please get Tom or Putu to arrange the transfer, it is easier and worth money. As we do not have enough cash, we wanna use card, hence went to get trsf from the app, but hv trouble getting go jek driver to pick us from the villa, and to send us to Canggu. We had been cancelled by few drivers even when we walked out to the main street for the to pick up, as they will asked for more money vs the platform offer.

Merthas Unterkunft hat sich als privates, ruhig gelegenes Häuschen inmitten von Reisfeldern entpuppt. Küche, Wohn- und Schlafraum sind sauber und so ausgestattet, dass Du Dich während Deines Aufenthalts super selbst versorgen kannst. (Du findest hier z.B. Kühlschrank, Kochutensilien, Trinkwasserspender, Haartrockner u.v.m.) Mertha und sein Mitarbeiter sind außerdem sehr freundliche und reaktionsschnelle Gastgeber, so dass es Dir während Deines Aufenthalts an nichts mangeln sollte. Das Herzstück der Villa ist sicherlich der kleine, private Pool, in dem Du ungestört Deine Runden drehen kannst. Doch auch die nächtliche Stille oder der herrliche Ausblick in die Natur sind unschlagbar. Kurzum: Ob nun für eine Nacht oder einen längeren Aufenthalt, ich kann Dir einen Aufenthalt bei Mertha nur empfehlen. P.S. Da die Villa etwas abseits gelegen ist, was ja ihren privaten Charme ausmacht, wirst Du vermutlich ein Motorbike benötigen, wenn Du in der Umgebung etwas unternehmen möchtest.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Agus, his sister, and their family were very kind and always had warm smiles. Their pet, Nami, was also adorable. The location is about ten minutes from Ubud, and it’s easy to find a bike through Grab or Gojek. There are also delicious restaurants nearby. The accommodation was clean, and the pancakes for breakfast were very tasty. The surroundings were quiet, with only the sounds of nature. I highly recommend this place and would love to visit again.

Pristine, beautiful Villa. We loved Kay's beautiful home, and it felt like home. As per previous reviews, the photos do not do it justice. WiWinn the housekeeper, is an absolute gem, speaks good English and was great at sharing her local knowledge. She was not intrusive at all and was happy to be flexible to work around what suited us. She helped us hire a scooter, with our laundry and recommended a massage lady who would come to the Villa. We were very grateful for all the lovely shared moments with her and the gardener Putu. We used Kay's recommended driver Eka (who lives in the same road) and he was exceptionally good, reasonably priced and spoke good English (no Grab in Lovina ) - his details and lots of other, useful information is provided by Kay). Buda Bakery is a 5 min walk and an absolute must (we ate there more than we should have) and Jaring Kitchens was also good. If we ever came back to Lovina we would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful Villa again!

We had a great time at Raquel's place! It's even more beautiful than in the pictures and it was amazing waking up to the view of rice terraces. Only thing that might bother some people is the thin layer of dust that comes with the cement style of the home - not a problem for us, but could be important for people with allergies. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!😊

We stayed at Bunga’s place with his staff for a week along with some friends. From the very beginning, we were impressed by Nyoman’s availability and helpfulness. Nyoman, the house Manager and the main point of contact for any guest needs, was quick to assist us. After just a short conversation, he had already arranged a transfer from Padang Bai port to the villa and provided us with scooters to rent for the following days. After a long journey, this service alone deserves sincere appreciation. The villa itself is spacious, offering all guests the perfect balance of privacy while also enjoying large communal areas like the pool, which we unfortunately didn’t get to use much due to the many activities we had planned. It’s worth noting that the villa is not serviced by Grab or Gojek, so if you’re not planning to get around by motorbike, this might be something to keep in mind. That said, we highly recommend this location to anyone looking for peace and serenity in nature at its purest.

Our family of 6 absolutely loved Laurent's place! Overal beautiful design of all the rooms and the garden. Easy access to the beach. The chief at the villa - Jero is great and cooked most of our meals which was cheaper than going to a restaurant and very delicious! Ngurah- the manager and driver is super nice too and drove us around where we needed to go, we even got a farewell guitar songs from him, which was so sweet. There is not much in the area that's walking distance, but that's what make this place quite and peaceful and of course Ngurah is always there to take you anywhere and answer any of your questions and take requests. Overall, I would highly recommend villa Sisi Pantai to anyone. Thank you so much, Laurent and Christine.

Great Villa with all the expected amenities and comfort. The staff is great, always available for shopping, cooking , etc The villa is amazing, it is in my sense bigger than what the picture suggests. You will need a car or driver (that is what we did) to go places as it is isolated, but that is exactly what we wanted: peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommended 😎

Our retreat was a perfect blend of tranquility and rejuvenation. The host and his staff were amazing and responded to our every need. Overall we would stay again and the drivers; Jul Geden and Putu were amazing, they always had great ideas for attractions and was super at driving us around to those attractions. We love everything about what we experienced and more with this house.

We had an amazing stay at Samistiti Villa Lovina. The housekeepers, gardenman and dog are around the house the whole day and they made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, with beautiful views from all the rooms. The staff gives all kinds of recommendations for food, activities and transfers. We arranged a dolphin tour and we got picked up at the beach, but we didn't have a good experience. The group of dolphins was wonderful, but the tourguide was more interested in his phone and his cigarettes than giving the tour. When we wanted to swim with the dolphins like all other tours provide, we got a call from the housekeeper that we had to pay 150k extra per person to swim, but didn't tell us beforehand. If we knew this, we would've booked the tour elsewhere. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and we'd recommend renting a car or booking a driver, as there are little taxi's around.

It was an absolute blessing to discover this villa. The energy is magickal. A place of peace. Rest, relax, recovery and rejuvenation. Richard provided tips of where to get supplies plus restaurants, spa / massage and tours. Note this beautiful villa is up in the hills with spectacular views and you are self-contained but you do need to make sure you grab supplies before you go and / or organise yourself a driver as its not a quick trip to the supermarket or to tours or restaurants ... BUT for me personally I felt that was part of the charm. I loved every moment of my stay. There were a few of us that stayed here and we were able to have our own time and zones and then together when we wanted. The enchantment of the pool, gardens, and views along with the song of the roosters and music and sounds of the area is quite inspirational. The staff were always beaming smiles of gratitude and joyfulness. A beautiful home in a private and relaxed oasis. Thank you!

Es un alojamiento precioso, está muy muy cerca de la playa (aún que cuando fuimos nosotros a la playa, el agua estaba muy turbia i negra ya que la playa es de arena negra). Está bien equipada i dormimos muy bien. La piscina se agradece. Tener cuidado con las escaleras son bastantes y si están mojadas al venir de la piscina o playa te puedes resbalar. Es preciosa la casa.
