An Asheville Gem — Peaceful, Spacious, and Perfectly Appointed Brett’s home was exactly what we needed and more. Nestled in a quiet, wooded area, it offered the perfect blend of tranquility and access — just a short drive from Asheville, but far enough out to really soak in the peace of Western North Carolina. The house itself is stunning in its simplicity: clean lines, modern touches, and an open floor plan that makes it feel both cozy and expansive. We loved how everyone could hang out together in the spacious common areas — playing pool, soaking in the indoor hot tub, or watching movies on the big 4K TVs — while also having the option to retreat to their own private corners. The vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors added a lovely warmth, and the sun rooms on both levels were beautiful places to start and end the day. Comfortable rental in a great location. We enjoyed all the amenities, and the easy access to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville. Easy walk down to the tavern and Japanese restaurant in the village of Cheshire (which we did 2 nights of our stay). A few additions such as tall planter on the side porch to provide a bit more privacy from the adjacent over flow parking, bedside lighting for the downstairs bedrooms, floor lamp in the living room, and shades for the back deck French door would really elevate the comfort of even more! Enjoyable 5 night stay; we would stay there there again.

We were in town for a wedding and couldn’t have booked a better place to stay! It was exactly (if not better) than what we were expecting. It had everything we needed to be comfortable + great views + very close to Asheville! Highly recommend.

Keegan's cottage is adorable! We had such a lovely stay. It was nice to walk into the house and feel right at home and cozy. If you are looking for a secluded, in the mountains type of stay, (yet close to so many great places) this is it!

We had a wonderful stay at Heather and Bob's little house. We loved the layout and that it was private. The little extras were much appreciated - muffins for breakfast, chocolates on the night stands, etc. Heather and Bob made their place very inviting. Communications were great and they even provided easier directions than the GPS provides to reach the house. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was beautiful and in a great location!! The check in process was very smooth, and Bruce did an amazing job at explaining how to get to the house/where everything was. I definitely recommend this to anyone who’s on the fence!!

This was a beautiful place to stay, in a very secluded location with stunning views. It was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon. The host was extremely responsive, even answering the phone late at night when we arrived and needed assistance. You will 100% need 4WD/AWD to make it to the property, but the hosts have a vehicle you can use. It is a bit of a haul to get back to “civilization” for things like groceries and restaurants, but if you’re looking for a place to show down and feel like the only people for miles like us, book your stay here!

The home was gorgeous in a beautiful location with easy access to town. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene hit while we were there, so we had to evacuate. Asheville was devastated by this storm, so we lost power, water, cell service, and had to contend with many downed trees and power lines to evacuate. Lucas was very responsive and concerned about our well-being. Once able to receive texts, he had been routinely trying to check in with us to make sure we were okay. Although the beautiful mountain road was severely impacted, most of this house was spared, except the garage roof and driveway entrance and exit. I pray for an eventual return to normalcy for Asheville its wonderful people, Western NC, Eastern TN, and upstate SC. As for Lucas’s place, this would have been the perfect home and location for a vacation rental had this once in a 1000 year storm been a factor. It was well stocked with everything we needed, including a propane generator.

We had a fabulous girls trip at this property in North Asheville. Woodfin is a great location and had walkable restaurants nearby. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. 16 minutes to the Biltmore House. The property itself was amazing. We had six ladies on the trip and we all felt that there was more than enough space in this home. Plenty of bathrooms. Nice open concept kitchen and living room. The gas fireplace was an awesome perk. Hot tub was very enjoyable in the cool December night. And the wine fridge upstairs near hot tub was a delight. Highly recommend this property as well as the other YONDER properties. I would definitely use this property again when I return to Asheville.

Hands down the nicest Airbnb we have stayed at. A rating higher than 5 stars is needed to separate this from the other 5 star ratings. Well stocked for large groups/families, and Christina was very responsive to every inquiry. If it is available, this is the one you want.

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

This was the perfect place to getaway for a few days! It provided us with peace and privacy, while also being super close to Asheville for fun activities. The home was clean and cozy. It was perfect for what we were wanting. Alex made the whole process easy. Would highly recommend!

It was good overall but it would be way better after construction would be done and I do not recommend grandparents to go because of walking on the hills, but other than that everything was amazing!! Place was clean and tidy, had hood communication with Hollie and the scenery and weather really helped us made the trip better..

We didn’t want to leave! It feels like a rustic tree house, with the wide porch boasting a plethora of rocking chairs; the gorgeous wooden soaking tub perched on the hill up a steep set of stone steps and surrounded by layers of green leaves filtering the sunlight; the mountains peeking through the foliage; the easy access to the beautiful river and its abundance of excellent throwing stones (a child’s delight); the quaint kitchen and its adorable gas stove; the cozy river rock fireplace; the sweet homey touches like books, board games, art supplies, extra blankets, provisions in the cupboards, and fruit and pastries provided upon arrival. Theresa was so very kind and accommodating in her communications. We loved everything! A note: if you plan on cooking a lot on the stove and are finicky about pans as we are, maybe bring your own as there’s only one nice cast iron (and the wonderful griddle). And if your stay forecasts rain, bring ear plugs—torrential rain on the roof makes a racket!

We had an amazing time during our stay here. The cabin is in a great location, close to several nice wineries, mountain trails/water falls and restaurants in downtown Hendersonville. The cabin was very clean and cozy, we also enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of fun activities. Pamela was super nice and responsive. We weren't sure if the area and parks were impacted by hurricane Helene, but fortunately everything was fine and the parks we went to were open (triple falls waterfall was the only trail closed). We had a blast and would definitely come back. Thanks Pamela!

The cabin was beautiful and luxurious. Was a perfect get away for my wife and me. Everything was comfortable and the host was amazing and very friendly. We saw lots of different types of birds in the trees and the area was nice and quiet. We would love to stay again.

This is the definition of a hidden gem! I was looking for place in the mountains to go hiking as a beginner. And I found it!!! Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s even better than what the photo shows. There’s a deck with a spa hot tub and space for yoga as well as space to sit and enjoy nature! It’s a great place for anyone who loves nature, hiking and the mountains or just to get away and relax! The host is responsive and supportive if you need anything. I was more than happy with my stay and I will be back as soon as I can!

This is our second time staying with Mike & Cate and it was just a wonderful this go round. The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with thoughtful treats for us & the pups and offered space as well as gorgeous views. We definitely look forward to staying again.
