We loved our visit to Nenagh and especially the accommodation. Having such a beautiful place to stay with great hosts in such a scenic area was just what we were looking for and couldn’t have hoped for more

A lovely quaint cottage in the countryside with a nice mix of older charm and modern touches. The host and his father were helpful and polite even as we struggled to get the driveway gate open. Hint: park well back from the gate when you arrive; if you're too close to the sensor, it won't open. The hot tub is a rare and welcome amenity for the area - clean, well-maintained, exceedingly relaxing in the evenings. Thanks for a great stay!

Eamonn’s house was perfect for our little family’s weekend away. It was in such a peaceful area but easy to find at the same time. Eamonn was fantastic to communicate with, he met us at the house and showed us around - he was clearly very proud of the work he’s done for the house and he was right to be! The house was spotless clean, it was exactly as described and the hot tub was such a great addition. We can’t wait to go back again, thanks Eamonn for your great hospitality!

A Perfect Retreat at Owenies Cottage Our stay at Owenies Cottage in Ireland was truly amazing. The highlight for us was the hot tub and cozy living room, which provided a wonderful way to unwind while taking in the stunning surroundings. The host went above and beyond by leaving us some delightful treats, and fridge stocked to make breakfast; which added a nice personal touch to our experience. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to witness some incredible sunrises and sunsets during our stay. It truly made our time there feel special. We found Owenies Cottage to be the perfect stop for our two-night getaway during our 8 day Ireland trip, offering us a peaceful place to relax and recharge. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy retreat in Ireland. Liz is definitely an amazing host!!

Patsy’s cottage was exactly what I was looking for at the end of a long Irish Holiday. It was a quiet and idyllic retreat but still very close to town for convenience. My daughter loved collecting fresh eggs every morning for breakfast and feeding the chickens. We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge on the grounds. The amenities are especially nice on a blustery, wet day! They are fired by wood stoves which requires a bit of pre-planning and forethought but Gerry, the owner, is very willing to help by starting the fires in advance of their use. The cottage itself has been restored beautifully and thoughtfully to save space yet not skimp on any of the necessities. The drying rack that lowered over the stove by a pulley was brilliant! We loved keeping the cottage toasty with a fire crackling in the wood stove all weekend! Thank you to Gerry for a wonderful stay. It was the perfectly peaceful setting we needed to experience the beauty of the Connemara landscape!

Our stay at this charming, modern cottage was nothing short of perfect! The cottage was comfortable and spacious, providing plenty of room for our kids to play and explore. They loved it so much that they didn't want to leave! Marie even left a lot of sweets for the kids, which made their stay extra special. The location is ideal for exploring the beauty of County Clare, with easy access to all the must-see attractions. Despite not meeting Marie in person, her friendliness and helpfulness shone through in every interaction, ensuring we had everything we needed. This is truly a 5-star accommodation – a perfect blend of comfort, space, and charm. Highly recommended for families looking for an unforgettable getaway!

We loved our short stay here. The cottage itself is beautifully restored maintaining its original charm. Our 3 dogs also loved their stay. Hughes pub is a 2 minute walk from the cottage and serves outstanding pints of the black stuff.

This place was amazing and incredibly comfortable. Most importantly its views and surrounding fields and country roads are totally stunning and some of the nicest we saw in Connemara.

Great rental! Very spacious with all amenities you might need. Amazing views. Perfect to access beaches close by and a beautiful drive to Dingle through Conor Pass. Keith welcomed us at the house and showed us around. Lovely trip!

Barbara’s cottage is a very comfortable and spacious home away from home. We stayed six nights in February and the cottage was lovely and warm. Barbara was very friendly and welcoming, and the cottage is well set up with lots of small touches that many other air bnb’s neglect such as bedside reading lights, basic foodstuffs in the kitchen, comfy throw rugs on couches. We would definitely recommend this lovely cottage in peaceful rural surroundings.

This was the most idyllic cottage we could have imagined for our New Years stay. David recommended the best local pub for us to enjoy a traditional Irish new years and it made our trip so great. He was so friendly and welcoming and let us pet the horses. He had lots of history and insight to offer and this place is perfect for any country Irish holiday dreams!

I stayed at the cottage for 4 weeks and loved every minute of it. The cottage is everything you’d want from an authentic cottage experience with modern amenities thrown in. The location is peaceful with easy walks to Lake Corrib and the castle. Oughterard itself is a friendly, welcoming town and the cottage is a great home base to explore Connemara. But the best part of staying at Knockbroughaun Cottage are the owners, Pat and Mary Angela. From my arrival to my departure, they both were wonderful hosts. They are so friendly and helpful. I didn’t go wrong with Pat’s suggestions for places to visit in the area, and the Bookshop was a great place to stop in and relax. They have the best cappuccino too! I can’t wait to return to Knockbroughaun cottage. It was like a home away from home!

Ed was a most gracious host. Offered recommendations in the area and very quick to respond to any questions. Would love to visit again someday

Very relaxing accommodation, had everything that you need..

Pat and Gertie were warm and accommodating and Gertie’s homemade apple pie waiting for us when we arrived was a nice surprise. We stayed in the cottage with our one-year-old, and while it took a bit of creative baby proofing, we made it work! Gertie helped us coordinate bike rentals for the greenway which was a highlight of our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay...everything was just perfect! We received a very friendly personal welcome and were given lots of information and tips. The area is beautiful and there is so much to discover. We can highly recommend this accommodation! Thank you again for the great welcome breakfast...it was so great! I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic of a host Patricia is or what a lovely cottage she has. Our party experienced some major travel delays and feared we would lose out on being able to stay at this cottage, but Patricia worked with us so kindly and patiently and provided us a wonderful welcome to the area. The cottage is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood just off the beaten Killarney path, providing both peace and easy access to all the food, shopping, and attractions the area has to offer. We had a very comfortable stay with everything we could need well provided. Would love to stay again if ever able to revisit the area!

We spent a wonderful few days in Joe's cottage.The location is just a few minutes drive to Clilfen and across the road from the greenway where you can walk 3km to the town.Lovely peaceful setting and the scenery is amazing. The cottage has everything that you would need and is very comfortable and spacious.Mary was a very responsive host and we would highlyrecommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at the shed. It was a perfect little getaway in the countryside. I would highly recommend it to anybody, Riona and Paddy were wonderful.

Absolutely stunning home overlooking the water - couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. We also saw some breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! Clean and comfortable. We loved Catherine's home, it was peaceful, serene and cozy. What I loved even more was how welcoming Catherine was, her suggestions, restuarent recommendations were very helpful. We had a very pleasent time at her place and would recommend it. We can't wait to be back. Loved the beautiful sunsrise and sunsets, we really enjoyed our long weekend here.

We had a fantastic stay, and would highly recommend. Our host was extremely knowledgeable about the area and pointed us to the best spots for adventures and eating out. The house was perfect, always cosy, and a wonderful retreat after being out for the day. The location is superb. Beautiful in itself, while also being within minutes distance to all the best attractions, there is an endless variety of things to see and do.
