This was a beautiful home right outside of the park - the perfect place for our wedding party to stay. The porch and hot tub area are a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and we found everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again for future trips to Fall Creek Falls.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and the location (right across from a playground) was perfect for our three young children. The open floor plan made it easy to keep an eye on everyone. The host was very communicative and flexible. I’d highly recommend this spot!

This is my second stay at Curt’s. I was in town for work and spent my days in Nashville but this was the perfect sanctuary to come back and get away from the hustle and bustle. Burgess Falls was a quick drive just over 30 minutes. I had done this hike previously but it was BEAUTIFUL in the snow which we received. There are several other hikes driveable from the cabin! Pros: hot tub! In nature, waking up with views and the birds chirping. Tips/Info: the neighbors dog did come down to say hello where if you have a pet that is reactive to other dogs this may not be the best spot, beds look over the living room area where there is not a bedroom and the stairs to get to the bedroom are steep. Overall: this is one of my favorite stays! Curt and Kate are responsive and helpful to ensure a great stay. The cabin is cozy and perfect for an unplug for work, a romantic get away or a boys trip where a trip to the city may be in the cards. Will return. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The decor was stylish, the beds and couches were super comfortable, and the hot tub and game room were a blast. The kitchen amenities were much better than at other places we have stayed at before. The high quality toiletries in the bathrooms were a nice touch too! Our family of 5 was very comfortable here and would highly recommend!

Comfortable little cabin with everything you might need to feel right at home! We enjoyed mornings sitting on the porch listening to the birds, campfires,the hot tub, hiking not far away, afternoons reading on the porch, and they had trees perfectly spaced for our hammocks.

Austin’s cabin was amazing! We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday! We would definitely recommend this cabin!!

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

This was a last minute trip that was absolutely relaxing with no worries. The property is nestled inside the woods with a gated entrance and a fence. Very private and secure. Catherine was a wonderful host and was very helpful. Definitely worth the stay and we will be back!

This cabin was exactly what we needed! It was quiet, secluded without being too far from a store, cute, clean, and comfortable. Our host was super responsive and accommodating, and check in/out was very easy. We are very happy with our stay and would happily stay again if we are in the area.

Beautiful little lake house! We stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. Carol left some very thoughtful touches, and we enjoyed the serenity and peaceful surroundings of the property. The decor was so cute and on-theme (lots of duck and chicken items in the most coordinated and adorable way!), and everything was perfectly clean. Exploring nearby Sparta and seeing the view at Welch’s Point was also a lot of fun!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights here with our pup. It was perfectly relaxing, peaceful and had all the things we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s plenty of kitchen appliances, coffee and coffee maker, games, yoga mat, bubble bath supplies, streaming services etc I could go on and on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy a peaceful quiet stay here. We will be recommending this to our friends! Thanks Anthony!

We absolutely loved our stay! Very peaceful yet close drive to town for a quick bite or supermarket run. Great set up to get off the grid, yet with all modern accommodations - the WiFi worked perfectly 😊 We stayed over new years and plan to be back in the spring!

Cabin was cute and cozy, clean and well stocked. Appliances were new and not just the cheap stuff you sometimes see. Nice deck and dock. Fishing was not so good, water was still pretty cold. Shower was kinda tigh, but managble. Owners communicated well. If I was in this area again I would consider another stay.

We had the most wonderful weekend at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was so cozy and clean, with everything we needed — from all the dishes to fresh linens. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. We especially loved the back patio, which was so serene and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The location was super cool — it felt like we were tucked away in the woods, yet it was so close to the lake! If you’re in the area, be sure to check out the Cookeville Boat Dock and definitely take the guided kayaking tour with Kayaking of Middle Tennessee to see Burgess Falls — such a memorable experience! Our host was amazing, super responsive and provided us with all the detailed information we needed for our stay. And the decor of the place? Absolutely adorable — we loved the cute little touches throughout. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway!

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

This beautiful modern home with all the amenities of living in a city, but the view and peace of actually being in the country of Tennessee. This home and it's owners could not have been more perfect and accommodating to my family. This place was exactly what my family needed. Being close enough to the store to get some groceries, but far enough away to not want to leave for just any reason. The views, and deck with all the outside living you could want. We spent our days checking out trailers and hikes and waterfalls, and our night on the deck relaxing and soaking our aches and pains from that days adventures in the hot tub. Along with our boys being kids again and enjoying the hills and splitting wood. This was just one of the coolest things we have done as a family, and one of the nicest Airbnb we have rented. We get at least one a year most years more then one and this is definitely the best one we have ever stayed at! This is a must stay!

The cabin and the area around are so peaceful, and felt nostalgic. We had a great time at the cabin and will definitely be returning!

Beautiful home and responsive host. The only improvements we would recommend is more washcloths in bathrooms. The amount is not nearly enough for large numbers of guests home accommodates. Also hot water heater is very slow and after 2 ppl took a shower we were all out of hot water for hours. Not ideal when there's 12 ppl in home. Overall, a great place!

This cabin was AMAZING, and the attention to detail made us feel like we were at home. We could have easily walked to several restaurants, and the view from the porch was so peaceful. We only stayed one night but so wished we had found this gem much sooner in our vacation. The linens were pristine and smelled wonderful. The homey touches, and beautiful decor were a pleasant surprise after staying in a hotel for several nights. The added benefit of a washer and dryer were helpful in that we were able to go home and unpack without washing a ton of dirty laundry! We will definitely be back!!!

Our family had a wonderful stay in the middle of the woods! We are a smaller group so the size was perfect for us to feel cozy. The driveway is a little intense, but we also have a full sized SUV so our vehicle is also a little intense. Shara communicated wonderfully with us while we were staying, and promptly which is something I appreciate the most. The location is definitely off the beaten path and has such an amazing view. Everytime we left or came back we couldn't help but comment how beautiful it truly was.
