Janet and Ray were exceptionally helpful and friendly hosts! Prior to arrival, Janet sent a list of local restaurants and activities as well as farm activities we could partake in with their Highland herd. The cows were friendly, gentle, and more than grateful for the attention we provided. Janet and Ray's property offered some quintessential Vermont atmosphere and views. We'll absolutely return and stay here again!

We had a large group stay here for President's Day weekend for nordic skiing. The location was perfect! It was quiet, beautiful, cozy, and extremely close to the outdoor center. Everyone was looking for reasons to come back. Krum let us into the house and gave us a tour to show us where everything was, how everything worked, and even a quick history. I really appreciated meeting him and getting the full story! For a brief second, before everyone arrived, I was worried it would feel tight for our large group, but it was perfect & my occasionally cranky group was at peace & relaxed. The serenity of being right on the pond and the convenience of the location for skiing really made it perfect. Thank you! Would love to come again!

What a cozy and beautiful cabin! We had a fantastic white Christmas here and enjoyed many hours by the fire. Beds are comfortable and firm, everything was very clean, instructions were clear and you really feel private tucked back in the woods. Nina was communicative and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Great price and accommodations for the locations. We have stayed at Jay for multiple years and tried out multiple locations. This was by far our favorite space. Having the extra space for the kids was worth the walk to the trails.

Perfect spot for our large family. The description of the home was spot on and all the needed amenities were there. Great communication prior to arrival and we had no complaints or issues. Will definitely be our first choice on where to stay when we return.

What I expected to be a fun weekend for us exploring the northeast kingdom ended up being my surprise engagement, making this trip even more special. We were very happy to have such a beautiful location to come back to after our day out, everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret's place. It was a short trip to the NEK to visit family and was a perfect location for a weekend get away! It has all the luxuries of home. We enjoyed having our own space and was close enough to family (5 minutes) so that we could spend our time visiting instead of traveling. It certainly was a winter wonderland at this time of year up there!!! The driveway was a bit slippery and steep, but all and all it was a great stay! We definitely would love to return in the future. so nice to have so many bathrooms and separation of the sleeping quarters so that each family /group can have their own privacy.

The property is beautiful. It has its own private lake access. It is very beautiful and peaceful. Tom was a great host, he had a fire already going for us when we arrived. The house runs off a generator that is very easy to use. The views in the evenings and mornings are something out of a Bob Ross Painting. It is an amazing place and well worth a visit.
