Carolyn’s Chalet is an absolute gem. The location is perfect for easy walkable access to downtown, the house is very well maintained and has very nice amenities. Carolyn is very responsive and helpful, couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in Stowe!

Perfect location for our family to stay very close to our son’s dorm at Champlain College. We were able to host his friends for a casual dinner at the house which was very special. Very clean, comfortable and spacious!

Beautiful home, as described. Nice personal touches with towels and mini shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is large and has most every appliance you would want. Caretaker does come in twice per day but is friendly and unobtrusive. You do need AWD/4WD to access the house.

This is hands down the BEST Airbnb I have ever stayed! (and we rent a lot!) The pics and description can't communicate how awesome this home is. I was in literal AWE the first time I walked through the house. First of all it is HUGE, you will have more than enough room to spread out. Secondly, THE GAMES, there is something for everyone, the boys loved the basketball, the girls couldn't stop playing pool, and I think I need shuffleboard in my home home! The kitchen was massive, with everything we needed to cook for 15 plus people. (and we all had a place to sit!) The hot tub was the icing on the cake after a long day of skiing! Derek was also amazing to work with, we needed to postpone our trip by a day, and he totally accommodated us happily! Stop reading this and rent this house!

Worth the price! Spectacular views, very clean and comfortable. The multi level bedrooms works nicely for multigenerational family trips. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful location and home, and is setup to make you feel at home. The host was also extremely responsive which was greatly appreciated.

We had an amazing time!! Place was amazing, views spectacular as promised, and we loved the stove/fireplace. The 4WD note is real — our rental car company failed us, gave us a 2WD, and we couldn’t get up the driveway. We parked at the bottom of the hill … it was a 5-10min walk and not an issue for anyone in our group. So, make sure you have 4WD, or if you don’t mind a walk, that might work too!

This is a great house to stay in. There's a lot of space, places to sleep, sit and relax, eat, watch tv, play games, work, read, cook. Plenty of hot water.. Very private, although in a neighborhood. Nice back yard area when not covered in snow, looking up at the mountains behind. Sheri is top notch. Easy to reach, super friendly and helpful, easy going. We came at the tail end of a snow storm, but the driveway was cleared enough to get our car in and then Sheri worked with us to make sure everything was cleared before we had to go out the next day. Easy walk into the cute town of Bristol. Handful of nice shops (books, games, art, crafts, gifts, toys) and restaurants: Wokky's--ok Chinese/great staff; Minifactory--out of sight coffee/biscuits/sandwiches/fresh ingredients/lot of gluten free; Cubber's--locals' joint/excellent pizza/sandwiches; Farmhouse Chocolates--superb fresh organic truffles, bars, caramels/chocolatier is wonderful. Easy drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush for skiing.

Great stay. We skied for two days at Stowe. Josh’s place was perfect for us and our kids to have a great ski week. Kids loved the hot tub!

Place was as advertised. Beautiful, great location, great views, close to convenient grocery shopping and slopes. We'd love to come back some day.

It is a beautiful house where you can smell the family and we liked that a lot. It is close to the ski slopes, very clean and comfortable. Lidsa and Tom have very good communication, excellent service.

We had a great stay, lovely welcoming home and great location - short walking distance to nice places in town and 30min drive to either Sugarbush or Killington/Pico. Thank you!

A Magical Cabin Experience Our stay at this rustic cabin captivated us from the start. The warm exterior lighting at night created a fairytale ambiance. Spacious and beautifully decorated, the cabin featured a large stone fireplace for cozy evenings. Authentic yet modern wooden interiors, clean and well-maintained, provided everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for relaxation. Stepping outside at night, we were amazed by the stunningly clear sky and even caught a glimpse of Orion’s Belt. The outdoor deck and seating area offered peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing retreat. Whether you’re a couple seeking romance or a family wanting quality time, it has it all.

I was looking forward to my stay here for a ski trip for months. Check in was easy and when we got inside it was bigger and better than I expected, sitting around the wood stove telling stories with friends made the hours feel like seconds and was the perfect way to wind down after a fun filled day on the slopes, and the hosts are super quick to respond to any questions. Only thing worth mentioning is it's very important to have your vehicle set up for winter conditions as I did get stuck in the driveway due to my half worn all season tires and the fact my car is rwd. Completely my fault though. winter tires and chains are highly recommend if staying in the snowy months, otherwise the place was outstanding

Bob’s place was exactly what we were looking for for a ski weekend with a group of long-time friends. There was room for 8 adults(4 couples) to sleep comfortably in private bedrooms. We enjoyed cooking and having meals together after full days of skiing and outdoor exploring. Bob was flexible with check-in and check-out and was available should we need suggestions or recommendations. I highly recommend Bob’s place if you want to spend time in the Stowe area.

Karen’s home was so welcoming and she responded very quickly to any questions I had. I would/will book again soon! I felt very at home!

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Lovely house and beautiful lot! Spent lots of time playing in the yard, swimming in the pool and exploring all the things that Stowe has to offer. We'll be back!

Sibylle is a proactive and gracious host. This is a great spot for anyone who considers themselves a "planner" and wants a weekend away with family friends in a pristine home. The place was perfect for entertaining both kids and adults. Very close to both Stowe and Bolton for skiing. What a special place!

Our large family stayed at Kristin’s house and it was perfect- Plenty of room!everyone got to sleep in a bed and room to hang out and relax. It was very close to town and maybe 10-15 minutes to the slopes. Kristin was friendly, and very quick to respond. As warned, the driveway is steep and our minivan couldn’t get up it- but we came prepared with chained and that did the trick. It was a great family vacation! Thanks Kristin!

We had such a great time at Ashley's place and really appreciated the welcome basket & being able to bring our 2 kitties with us to stay that need meds. (We also loved the neighborhood porch kitty that visited daily.) Thank you SO much, Ashley!

Great place to stay for a ski trip with 8 people! Was able to fit all of us comfortably. Location is close to town and Stowe resort. We took full advantage of the fireplace. The parking area and walkways were plowed and shoveled every day it snowed. Very comfortable Airbnb.
