Location was excellent for our purposes (in the center of the city, few minutes walking distance from the University, the market and the railway station) The host was a bit slow in responding before arrival in the UK, but issues regarding were resolved upon arrival at the airport. Overall the apartment was in good to excellent condition apart from some issues which were considered minor due to the relative short stay of 8 days. (One window was very tricky to open and close, the freezer needed some defrosting, one of the faucets had a broken drainer, no towels or sheets were changed during the length of our stay)

The most beautiful place, the home was even better than we ever imagined, plenty of space, lovely views and walking trails. Most definitely would book again.

We spent three nights at Sue’s farmhouse and it couldn’t be better. It is quite remote which means peace and fresh air, but also accessible to Ashbourne for food and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable (considering myself to be quite picky with beds and pillows). The kitchen is very well equipped and we had everything we need for cooking dinner. Thanks for your hospitality and we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay, yet again. Second time coming and already planning the third. Amazing house and staff. The animals are such an amazing bonus which all kids loved. Vic was amazing with the egg collecting and the feeding of animals. The house was super clean and along with all the facilities they had to offer. Beautiful place for a relaxing girls weekend away. Plenty of space for the four of us. Very well equipped kitchen. The outside dining space was a wonderful place to have breakfast before we left. Thank you so much- will recommend to friends!

Sarah was a wonderful host, really unique and special space to stay. We were a small wedding hen party celebration, and it was perfect for hosting and making various cocktails / food on the fires. Loved the fires by the yurt and the outdoor kitchen too. The hot tub got quite hot quickly but I think it’s part of the charm to get the fire perfect and honestly was quite fun to try it out! Definitely a great idea to have private bathrooms, as it made the experience more comfortable. Sarah was very friendly and helpful on arrival, flexible with us and overall it was an amazing stay I’d recommend for friends or family and I’d love to come back myself.

6 families met together here for 6 days and we found The Grange to be a good size for us. There’s an enclosed garden big enough for 5 children and 2 dogs to play in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking. There are plenty of places to visit with the children. All in all we had a lovely week.

Such a wonderful couple of days attending our daughters wedding. Made even more relaxed by staying at Lizzie place. Fantastic directions and info sent in advance. The Old Barn was such a delightful place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful setting, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, even the little dog came in to say hello as we were leaving🥰 I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

We cannot fault our stay here, it did exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet in an amazing location and the animals sealed the deal. Arnie was amazing and took time to explain about all the animals and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be coming back when the animals are roaming. I miss the cats already!!

Lots of things to love about this place. On arrival we got straight in and had been left a pint of milk which was a nice touch as we were gasping for a cuppa. Place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Loved the garden - fully enclosed and large - perfect for our 2 dogs. Beds and linen were comfortable. Showers large and good water pressure. Kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, French press, mugs, teapot, eggcups etc Clear instructions on recycling. A couple of things the host may not be aware of: The kettle turns itself on randomly - prob wants replacing as may be a fire risk. We turned it off at the plug. The kitchen knives are blunt - need either replacing or sharpening. We bought one in Tesco to use during our stay We would have appreciated bigger bath towels - not a deal breaker but we are used to bath sheets at home. The coil has come loose on the French press making it difficult to press down - may need replacing.

Loved the house and location. Turn right out of the back gates and it's a nice 10-15 minute stroll into the centre of town. Only two of us stayed but definitely big enough for 4 people. It felt like being home. Vicky the owner has a great collection of vinyl LP's and kindly allowed us to use her player. Highly recommended! Mike Wood

A lovely quiet location as a base to explore the Derbyshire Dales. The cottage is very cosy with everything you could want for your stay. Lots of walks right from the front door, including the Tissington Trail that takes you into Ashbourne, and a pub just minutes away on foot. Would definitely recommend.

Place was exactly as advertised. Easy access and host communication great. Right on a bus stop or walkable to town centre. All in all great stay

Riverside House is charming and full of character. It is an idea base for walking and cycling with an easy drive to Leek and Ashbourne.

Svårt att tänka sig bättre läge för att utforska de mysigaste stadsdelarna med dess historia, shopping och restauranger! Vi unnade oss middag på Cosy Club och Vida by Lorentes som verkligen var fantastiska! Närheten till matbutiker och frukostbröd var också mycket uppskattad. Boendet är väldigt bekvämt och lugnt, i alla fall efter klockan 22 då restaurangen på innergården stängt. Innan dess är det ganska högljudd musik onsdag till lördag men det var inga problem för oss. Till och med lite trevligt med bra musik. 😊 Bra med dubbla badrum! Vi uppskattade att det fanns förbrukningsvaror som toalettpapper, diskmaskinstabletter, te, tvål och även Netflix. Parkering i området är väldigt dyr men det finns ett bra (men trångt) parkeringshus ett kvarter bort. Värden var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam och svarade snabbt på frågor. Vi fick bra tips om området. Värden och boendet rekommenderas varmt för en familj som vill utforska Nottingham till fots!

Orchard View offered us a grand weekend stay, fully equipped with everything you may need. Decorated to a high standard and delightfully clean. The view was particularly lovely. Tricky to find so arrive in the light if you can!

Thank you for having us for the Easter weekend. Communication and location was brilliant and the flat worked very well for our family of three. If we could, we would give six stars to Shirley for the seamless communication and we found much more surprises in the fridge than usual :-)!

I've stayed in Friars House many times and the accommodation is consistently clean and well maintained. The location is perfect for the town centre, supermarkets and access routes. Danny and his team are always responsive to queries or requests and I love staying here when I'm in Stafford. Highly recommended.

We have had an absolutely great weekend at number 2 Bell Cottage! Felt like a home from home! Hosts were so helpful and welcoming! Ensuring to send us local recommendations, instructions and handy tips! The cottage itself had EVERYTHING you could possibly need, very spacious & homely. Milk, tea bags, coffee & sugar on arrival to make sure we had a brew after a very long drive was very much appreciated, and there were extra towels, pillows, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner! You name it, they'd supplied it! The secure car park was an added bonus, ensuring our car was safe during our stay. Plenty to do in the area and perfect for us visiting the NEC with it being just a 5 minute drive to get to! The Morrisons across the road was a life saver, especially if needing to get some last minute essentials (snacks 🤣). On leaving I'd forgotten my coat, which the hosts are kindly posting back to me! Very kind people, would 100% recommend & we are looking forward to visiting again! Diolch!

So close to town and anything you need to do in Nottingham. Near to local transport and places to eat out. A nice and quiet location close to the middle of town... perfect.
