The Pecan Tree Cottage is a wonderful place that offers many opportunities to relax and recharge your batteries, but it is also the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities. The cottage enjoys a wonderful location and offers numerous amenities, offers plenty of space and comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. From the moment we booked, Philip provided so much detailed information about the area and so many suggestions for stops on the way to Montagu that we could have easily spent two weeks in the Montagu area. We only spent two days there, but they left us with many wonderful memories and the desire to come back. In that case, we would definitely book The Pecan Tree Cottage again. Not least because of our two excellent hosts, Sheryl and Philip. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and pampered us (not only with the sensational treats in the fridge). Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely stay at Magriet's Vrolijk guest cottage. The cottage was perfect for a short, one-night stay (although we could definitely have stayed for longer) and had all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. Magriet was a great host and very responsive. The check in and check out process was a breeze.

We absolutely loved our long-weekend in this beautiful, comfortable cottage. It felt 100% like "home" with all the little comforts - there was not a single thing we could have needed that was not there. The kitchen was a dream to work in and we very much appreciated the lovely quality wine glasses, crockery, cutlery and sharp knives! We played Scrabble at the beautiful big dining table in the kitchen and we were lucky to be able to eat dinner outside on the verandah every evening. I loved the outdoor shower too! we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

Situated right on the edge of the Krans Nature Reserve in McGregor, this cottage has the most incredible views over the natural landscape surrounding this sleepy village. We arrived to a rainy afternoon, but by the next day the weather had cleared and we were able to open the doors that run all along the one side of the cottage to really take in the scenery. We came to attend the Love Life Festival - a wonderful initiative to bring art, theatre and film to McGregor - and will definitely book this spot again in future.

What an absolutely amazing place, so peaceful and really beautiful surroundings, close to activities in Swellendam but away from the crowds. The perfect getaway with family. Lena was an absolute star.

Oom Koos and Aunty Gayle are lovely, helpful and honest people. Really enjoyed my stay.
