This place was perfect to stay at for walking the hills nearby. The lochside garden was beautiful to sit and relax at as the sunset. Very easy to walk to nearby pubs and a little shop. Details to get to the place we're spot on and really helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again

This stay was just what we needed! Peaceful, beautiful views and a cosy cottage with a log burner that had pretty much everything we needed. Overall our stay was fantastic. Loved being lochside (the bench outside is perfect), exploring the area and having lots of lovely animals to view either in the loch or right next to the door. We were lucky enough to see any species of birds, seals, otters and even red squirrels!

Lovely stay at Kelmscott! Close to gorgeous woodland walks and beaches. A perfect getaway trip from busy city life. Great hosts and good communication. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here, the house & surroundings are beautiful. The photos of johns house were great but it’s actually more stunning in real life, we were so happy to stay here. It has everything you could need like a home from home and really don’t need to leave the property but it is great that there are 2 pubs within walking distance. The scenery and surrounding are just spectacular. John was very helpful and responded quickly when we contacted him. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks John, my family and I had a great time.

No pictures or reviews do this place justice!We have been to the estate twice now and it’s our favourite place to visit when we need to recharge. It’s great for the dogs, private beach, clear water, hikes at the back of the cottage , lots of wildlife, beautiful cottage. Views are out of this world. It’s worth every penny. Facilities are amazing especially in point cottage with the aga stove. We cooked many amazing meals. It’s the most relaxing place we have been regardless of the weather, and it’s beautiful all year round. Hosts were amazing and got back in contact straight away. Can’t wait to make another trip soon!

We had a wonderful few days here in this characterful property, loved the uniqueness of it. The showers are amazing, really powerful. Such a peaceful place and fantastic to see the red squirrels feeding on some nuts and seeds we left out.

Lovely apartment within walking distance of Dunoon town centre. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and even had a slow cooker and air fryer if you wanted to cook ( we didn’t). Always cosy

The absolute perfect experience. My partner and I came to Arran for a gentle 3 day stay and were blown away by the beauty and comfort of the Vestry. We were blessed with sunny weather and got to watch the sun rise over the ocean from the living room window. It’s the perfect wee space and brimming with warmth and love. Katie has obviously put a lot of effort into making the experience wonderful and it’s absolutely worth every penny. Location is great, with the ocean front right there, a wee local produce shop a 2 min walk away, bus stops basically across the road and surrounded by the magnificent beauty of nature and tranquility. We got the chance to meet Katie and Howard who are absolute gems and so naturally made us feel welcomed with open arms. This trip was everything we wanted and more. Highly highly recommend. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Love, S & K

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

Had fantastic time in Lisa's flat even with Storm Eowyn keeping us indoors on the Friday. This is the second time I have booked it the first being for my son, daughter & son-in-law for my father's funeral. This time it was for my sister and myself. Can't complement it enough and its a lovely place to stay between Greenock and Gourock. We will use it the next time we visit Scotland.

We loved our wee stay at Sheena’s place in the port. It had everythihg we needed, kitchen essentials and a cosy living space. The area is very quiet and the views across the water are fab. The house was clean and well cared for with a comfy bed.

We loved our short stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. Our host were lovely and personable, the space was cozy and clean! The area was wonderful, right next to the ocean where we spent skipping rocks (great rock location to do so). Coffee shop at the Country Store was walkable and they were absolutely lovely, we enjoyed stopping by before our days journey exploring.

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

Dear Laura and Lee We had a wonderful stay at Cuilabhaila House.The position and views are perfection and also the house itself.There is nothing we have needed it is all provided Thankyou.The house is beautiful and full of interesting things to look at. The house is perfect for a large family group like ours, plenty of space to do our own thing but also a large table to gather around at mealtimes. Time on Arran has gone all too quickly as we knew it would.We have managed to do lots to suit everyone.The younger ones did horse riding on the beach.The energetic ones walked up Goat Fell and have been cold water swimming each morning.Some of us explored the history of Brodick Castle and we walked the autumn forest above Lamlash.We drove into the north of the island and made notes of more we would like to explore on Arran in the future. The house was exactly what we needed, the views were spectacular, even when the storm came in. Beautiful place to relax and play golf in surrounding area.

Bentfield was simply magic. It was everything and more quirky, eclectic and homely the perfect place for our family get together traveling from New Zealand and corners of the UK, when our time was up we really didn’t want to leave. From family meals in the dining room, to chilling out in the sunroom to watching the sun go down over Arran on the lawn we made lots of memories.

We had an amazing stay at the lodge house with Iain. He was an excellent host and provided lots of great recommendations. The house was cozy and very well appointed, and the surroundings on the lake are stunning! The properties offered amazing views of Loch Goil, ample private space for walking, and even a friendly border collie friend! Highly recommend this place. We are eager to visit again.

The whole family loved the location, the house, the garden, the views and access to the beach. Very quirky and interesting home with great accommodation for our numbers. It took us a while to locate everything in both house and garden but that was part of the fun of it especially for the children.

We had a really fantastic family trip to Joshua’s place. He is a fantastic host. The house is perfect for a large group get together with lots of indoor and outdoor space.

Just had a 3 night stay with our family at the Wee Nunnery. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect and what a view to wake up to. We would love to come back and stay again.
