Very clean and cozy cabin in beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful with easy access to Hot Springs for the day.

The place was a perfect getaway for first timers to the area. It was as described and was really a nice place to come back to after the days adventures. The staircase was a cool feature and we managed to hide it from our toddler somehow! Having the mostly private road to walk our dog was wonderful. Would recommend this place to anyone! Joel was a fantastic host and was there virtually to help each step along the way.

My family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at the house over Spring break and had plenty of space. The cabin was located perfect for our crystal digging adventures. After digging, we would come back and clean the crystals on the back porch watching the sun set. The hot tub was small, but it worked out. We rotated small groups at a time. The inside of the house was open and inviting. We could all be in the same space or retreat to our rooms if needed. It had everything that we needed, minus food, which helps when traveling.

We loved Anna and Rickey’s cabin! It was clean, cute and easy walking to downtown for coffee, lunch and dinner. Our favorite part was walking to trails from the cabin-so close! They were very helpful to suggest best restaurants and hiking trails in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

We felt right at home! The cabin was clean and cozy. It was about 20min from the touristy things which was perfect! Christopher gave great directions and instructions. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place, excellent in so many ways. So glad we stayed here! • PERFECT distance from town. 15 minutes from suburban conveniences, and less than 30 minutes from the bath house district. Feels “way” out in the country while still being close to town. • Very well maintained cabin with modern conveniences. • Hosts were very responsive, friendly and clear communicators. • Décor was ON POINT. Bedding was natural fiber and ON POINT. Beds were great. Exterior lighting was kept on for us and was beautiful. • Hot tub nice-sized and very clean, but its basic function was glitchy – ask about the status of that before you book if this is a major feature for you. • Driveway: they are serious about the 4x4 requirement. It is not so much a driveway as it is literally a quarter-mile long, twisting, steep, uphill, rocky construction trail. The good news is that our 2017 Subaru Outback in X-MODE (both for up and downhill) handled it perfectly with absolutely zero issues or concerns. Super fun!!

The cabin was perfect for us! It was so beautiful! And the hot tub was amazing! Definitely going back!

It was a nice, clean place. I wish I would’ve known just how far of a drive it actually is to Hot Springs (roughly 30 minutes). It is definitely deep in the country and there’s no good restaurants within 25-30 minutes, and it takes forever to drive through those winding roads. If you’re looking to stay in Hot Springs, don’t stay here unless you’re comfortable with everything I mentioned. It was a really cool house and the location of it is genuinely my only issue.

Tucked into beautiful and secluded area. Cabin was a great way to escape the city life. My kids and dog loved the space and the ability to venture around in the area. Laura had great communication. Loved it! Thanks again!

Nice clean small group of cabins with nice drive to crater of diamonds state park. Quiet and close to the lake. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at your peaceful cabin. Thank you for adding an extra day. We didn’t want to leave. We made memories that we will cherish forever! Kitchen had everything! Thank you! Quiet, beautiful little cabin perfect for our spring break trip. The stars lit up the sky as the fire warmed our marshmallows. Kids had fun playing in the big yard too. It was a great trip!

Marsha was nice, responsive, and caring. The place was just the right size for the two of us and our dog. The backyard helped with having a dog. Something that might be a little awkward with multiple people is that the front door is in the bedroom…it wasn’t a problem for us but thought it is helpful to note. We would stay there again.

Peaceful, private and beautiful views - just what we were looking for. Rustic charm with so many wonderful personal touches! Walking up to this cabin was like taking a trip back in time to visiting my grandmother. It was a wonderful feeling of being at home. I can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed porches, porch swing and rocking chairs. The property was covered in blooms from flowering plants and trees. We explored river for hours each day. A perfect weekend getaway that we hope to enjoy again soon! I highly recommend the Shingle Mill Cabin and these sisters as hosts. You can tell they love this place, and we appreciate them sharing with us. We love it now as well.

We had a great stay at Piney Tails! It was one of the most well stocked airbnb spots we have seen. Not only was it a paradise for our dogs, there were so many things for the whole family to do. We hope to come back!

This place is perfect for a weekend away. The views are beautiful and Terri was quick to respond if there was ever a question. Will come back again!

Lovely stay on the Caddo River. The river is gorgeous. The fire pit was a nice touch too! The kids absolutely loved the bunk room. Great place for families to stay!

Skip was such a great host. He was very accommodating. There was breakfast in the fridge and he made sure we had plenty of coffee. He Was very helpful and gave us a tour of the property. The cabins were located along the lake with lake access. It Was a very quiet and private area. He told us the history of the cabins. How his dad built them in the 1930s. They were older but have been well maintained. AC worked great. No issues with plumbing and shower pressure was very good. We brought our dog so this location was perfect. Plenty of room to walk around and explore. We also saw an eagles nest. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to see any eagles this trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time and hope to return for a longer trip in the future!

We loved the location and how peaceful it was during our stay. Just skip away from marinas and about an hour from Lake Ouachita state park entrance. It was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Took our 8 year old twins to cabin for a three day adventure for their birthday. It was perfect place to stay. They loved the loft. Both beds very comfortable. With loved the outdoors. Ate all our evening meals out on deck. Loved time at the river. And loved the entire area.

The cabin and property were awesome! Just as described! Property was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was clean and cozy. My family would definitely book with Tonya again .
