This was a beautiful place to stay and although only 2 of us plenty of room for get togethers and families … It was very peaceful and private considering the farm … It’s perfect located for all walks in Wales; especially Henryd Waterfall 5 min drive The extra addition of a BBQ as well as the extra touches of a Prosecco and crisps to welcome us as well as providing anything we needed during our stay. Very helpful and lovely. Will defined be booking back in the next couple of months!!

Lovely peaceful location, cosy accommodation and idyllic hot tub experience. We would definitely return.

Myself and my partner stayed here to celebrate our birthdays. We had a wonderful time and are sad to leave. Hot tub was brilliant - lovely and clean upon arrival. Barn was also clean and tidy. Lots of things to places to eat and drink in Abergavenny. Would 100% recommend stopping here.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house itself has a very welcoming vibe and upon entering the property it smelt divine! It is set up so that the whole family can have fun together. It’s in a great location - we went to the the ape and monkey sanctuary, LC Leisure water park and plantasia indoor zoo. The children aged 4-9yrs had such a great time. They talked about it all on the way home. The house is across 3 floors so means everyone stays in shape too ☺️. There are heavy fire doors so anyone with little children just needs to be mindful of fingers, but we had no issues. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to give our children such a wonderful experience in Wales. Thank you so much Diane and Emma for making our stay so special!

Everything as described and the perfect host! Situated within walking distance of the town centre, the accommodation was a comfortable gem. The hot tub was a great accessory too! We loved it!

We had a wonderful few days here. The excellent location made it easy getting to some fantastic waterfall walks. Short drive to Brecon for the supermarket and takeaways. The house is gorgeous and the log fire and hot tub welcoming after a day exploring the superb surrounding area. Clare gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and there was essentials and treats to make us feel at home. We would loved to stay there again and would recommend it highly.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Came for the wife's 30th birthday, the hot tube under the stars was beautiful. Laura was brilliant, always responded to messages in a timely manner. The cider is lovely as well! Make sure to get yourself some. Plenty of walking trails around, our dog loved the place. Also Ewyas Harold, Is pretty local with a couple of nice pubs and a great chippy.

Lovely clean & tidy.Big bath & shower. Hot tub lovely warm & clean.Neighbours was very helpful to find somewhere to eat. All cooking equipments.Relaxing place.

Mike's place was perfect for a short trip in the Brecon Beacons for some waterfalls walks. He was helpful and friendly. The property is in a great location and has everything you'd need. It's very clean and comfy beds and amenities close by.

It was the perfect cosy cottage to spend Christmas together as a family gathering from Dorset, Gloucester and locally. Thank you!

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage! Perfect for a break away from an otherwise busy life and with a lovely pub just round the corner! The town is incredibly picturesque - We would recommend seeing the old Lime Kilns and Escarpment!

Had a great weekend stay here - was really cosy, clean and had everything i needed! The lemon drizzle cake was a lovely, personal touch :) would definitely come back.

What a wonderful stay. Matthew and Lowrie have done a fantastic job with the cottage. Really well appointed, modern, yet with a homely country cottage feeling. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, perfect for a relaxing stay and Ideal if you're an active outdoors type. We are already planning our next visit.

Graig Ddu is a beautiful and peaceful cottage in an amazing setting. The light in the mornings and the birdsong was exceptional - as were the stars at night. Wilma did more than everything to ensure we had a lovely stay and communication was great. The hot water is the hottest I’ve ever enjoyed! We did a great ridge walk in gorgeous Spring on our 2 night stay and enjoyed a pint in Llanthony Priory - just to celebrate St. David’s Day, obvs….. We’ll be back.

A wonderful stay in the beautiful 500 year-old Covey! Incredible views and stunning sunrises. Sarah and family were very welcoming and responsive during our stay - loads of great suggestions for local trips! Loved coming back after a day of walking to a cosy log fire, great library and movies to boot. Our dog Ennio loved it too! So nice to be able to have a small private garden as well as a large field/gardens to walk him in.

A super place in a great location. Friendly hosts and friendly farm yard animals. Cosy cottage with great views. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a beautiful location with amazing views. We were worried about the road to the house as it was long and steep but excellent instructions really helped and both our cars got right to the top. One of our cars was electric and low too! The house was cosy and homely and sitting by the log fire in the evening was a real treat. We went for a walk from the cottage and saw even more amazing views. About an hour's drive away were also some beautiful waterfalls. It is a perfect location if you like to get away from it all, enjoy being surrounded by nature but still have the comforts of a warm and welcoming house.

My family’s favorite place we stayed on our trip. The dogs even came to say goodbye to the kids as we were leaving. Great peaceful place.

Pete and Maria were fantastic! We felt right at home and they were very responsive to any queries we had. The cottage was well equipped and very cosy! The welcome pack had lots of information about local walks, things to do and see and the local pubs and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy base for walking, there is a small high street with some shops and brecon itself just up the road which is a lovely place to visit if you are in the area!

Group of us had great time in Hen Beudy. The place is exactly what we needed for trail running race in the area over the weekend. Very spacious house with lots of room, its warm, practical and clean with downstairs hard flooring. Relaxing in hot tub while watching green surroundings was lush after running those hills. It is in very peaceful location with no other houses just the forest so very quiet. Plenty to do in the area, weekend is not long enough. Phil and Debbie are great hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed. Would love to go back to stay there again.

A perfect place to stay for a few days away. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped - exactly as described. We arrived on a cold day but the heating was on and logs supplied for the log burner which made it very cosy. A great base with lots of lovely drives and walks nearby. Joanna was very helpful supplying information and recommendations for places to eat and visit. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return.

Absolutely fantastic place. Clean, beautiful and comfortable. I settled straight in and the facilities were amazing. The off road parking was a bonus and the checking was effortless, I stopped here for two nights with work and wished it could have been longer. I will definitely be back, thank you 😊

This was an amazing stay, right from the first moment, where Lulu was there to greet with some freshly baked bread, eggs from her chickens, some seasonal vegetables and some locally picked edible herbs/flowers. The place is freshly renovated (to a very high level), extremely cosy and comfortable, with great walks right from the doorstep. The drive to Bannau Brycheiniog spots such as the Pen Y Fan/Corn Du walking routes is just 10 minutes, with other local beauty spots such as the 4 waterfalls walk 30-40 minutes drive. The beds are very comfortable, with Egyptian cotton linen and very nice pillows and duvets. The shower is also fantastic (shame there isn't a bathtub!). The place is an old warden's gate lodge, so it is situated right next to the B4520, but there is rarely traffic on this road so it doesn't disturb the tranquility. We had some problems with the Wifi, it dropped out for around 24 hours, but the host was quick to respond and managed to get it back online for us ASAP!
